Games Master Challenge

What is the Games Master Challenge?
Every year in November a Blumaroo named Aristotle A. Avinroo (better known as Aaa) gives out game challenges to Neopians. The first time he has done so was in November 2006. On this page you can see all challenges, prizes and qualifying games. You will also see some tips on how to play the challenges and beat them. Click here to go to Games Master Challenge.

If you want to practice, SunnyNeo's Games Room lists all GMC and Daily Dare scores from previous years. This will give you an idea of which score you'll need to get to beat AAA.

Pirates Vs. Ninjas
AAA has decided to take a backseat and throw a tournmanent instead. He has enlisted The Techo Master to be captain of Team Ninja, which deals with puzzle and logic type of games. Cap'n Threelegs is the captain of Team Pirates, which deals with action and adventure type of games. Abigail seems to be lurking in the background with no participation from her yet. For more information about this year's GMC, jump down to the Help Questions and Answers section.

Mystery Challenge
How Puzzling...

Send a score of 15000 in Snot Splatter.

Tips for Snot Splatter:
  • Click on a full bubble that is next to other full bubbles to start a chain reaction.
  • You can also start a chain reaction by using the 2x powerup on an almost-full bubble that is next to full bubbles.
  • Your splatters will stop if they run into flat walls, but they'll bounce off and keep going when they run into diagonal walls.
  • If you clear between 20-29 snot blobs at the same time, you get an x2 power up. On level one, clear between 20-29 blobs in your first shot, and then do the same in your second shot, so that you've got two x2 power ups by the end of level 1. If you don't accomplish this, start over.
  • On levels 2 and 3, build up an area of snot blobs that are totally full. Then go around building up snot blobs that are small, and putting extra snot blobs in empty spaces. When you've only got one drop of snot left, choose the x2 powerup, and use it in the middle of several full blobs. Repeat this process for level 3.
  • From level 4 onwards, use your snot drops to pump up the small blobs until you've got one snot left, and then choose the double blob power up and start a chain reaction in the middle of several large blobs of snot. The double blob is earned by clearing 40 or more snot blobs at the same time, so you should have two of them by level 4.
  • Don't bother wasting a double blob power up on level 6, because it's very small and split into two parts. Just try to clear the level. After level 6, go back to the strategy of building up the smaller blobs on the board into bigger blobs and then using the double blob power up when you start your chain reaction.
  • By level 11, things start getting difficult and you just need to try to pass the the level in order to keep going until you get the required score. Now is the time to start using power ups such as the grid, row, and column (all of which automatically clear a large area of snot.) Also continue building up snot blobs and then using your double blob power up to start a chain reaction.

In Space, No One Can Hear You Play...

Send a score of 1834 in Assignment 53 AND send a score of 500 in Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars AND send a score of 560 in Moon Rock Rampage.

Tips for Assignment 53:
  • Coming Soon!

Tips for Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars:
  • Be sure to get the multiplier after about 10 hits, especially in the starting levels.
  • Get as many gun upgrades as you can afford, you will be able to kill the fuzzles faster.
  • Don't forget to buy shields and hull repair for your ship when its damaged.

Tips for Moon Rock Rampage:
  • The game code rampage gives an extra life. One use per game.
  • The game code superlaser gives you a better laser for that round. One use per game.
  • The game code novisitors gives extra time. One use per game.
  • Shooting the enemies turns them into blocks. You can use these blocks to get across pits. You can also throw these blocks at other enemies to kill them. Shooting an enemy won't give you any points, but killing one with a block will give you points. The more enemies you kill with one block, the higher your bonus points will be. The first enemy killed is worth 1 point, the next 5 points, the next 10 points, and the next 25 points.
  • Use the code to gain extra time and just stay in a level killing enemies until your time is about to run out, then quickly collect the last item and move on.
  • On level 10, picking up the propellor is worth 250 points. If you have any extra lives by level 10, get the propellor, then wait for time to run out. You'll restart the level and can pick up the propellor again. If an enemy kills you, the propeller will not show up again, so you must wait for time to run out if you want to collect the propellor multiple times.

Space Fashions
Game Challenge
It's A Snap!

Send a score of 966 in Top Chop.

Tips for Top Chop:
  • Hit the space bar in order to make the moving black line stop in the green area, preferably directly in the middle over the white line. If you stop it directly over the white line, you'll get bonus points. If you stop it directly over the white line a few times in a row, you'll get a power up.
  • In the first three levels, the black line will move progressively faster with each level. If you seem to be too slow for the faster levels, hit the space bar a little before you think you have to.
  • In the next four levels, the black line will move erratically, speeding up and then slowing down, and sometimes stopping completely. Try to wait until the line is moving slower before you try to hit it. Just be careful not to wait too long- there is a time limit.
  • During the rest of the levels, the green area and the black line both move; however, you should be able to get AAA's score without beating any of these levels. If you want to try to beat the levels, it's best to try to stop the line when both it and the green area are near the top or the bottom of the meter.
  • Sometimes a Moffit will jump across your board. You can't hit your board during this time. However, you won't be penalised in any way if you attempt to hit the board while the Moffit is jumping across it, so you really don't have to bother worrying about this.
  • If you're lucky enough to get a power up, save it for the tougher levels; you can choose when to use it by clicking on it.

Game Challenge
Take The Plunge!

Send a score of 630 in Bumble Beams AND send a score of 600 in Jubble Bubble.

Tips for Bumble Beams:
  • The longer you spend on each platform, the harder it is to control the petpet. Do not spend too long waiting on one.
  • Collect all the stars in each level for extra points.
  • Try to get a petpet in every other box, this will make it easier towards the end of each level
  • Tap your left and right keys very softly. If you press them too hard you will lose control.
  • Try to balance your petpets on the edge of the beam until the chart is on the exact spot to make your petpet land in the middle. You will then receive 10 points instead of 5.
  • If you need time to think stay on the top beams longest; once you get to the bottom beam you have no room for error.
  • On the orange beams that appear on level 5+ you can stop your petpet by holding down the key in the opposite direction of where your petpet is going.

Tips for Jubble Bubble:
  • Always target the Jubbles before the dubloons or shells, which are the bonus items. You will lose a life if you do not catch the Jubbles.
  • Whenever you have the chance, go for the dubloons. They are worth five times the amount of the shell bonus item, and more than twice as much as the Jubbles.
  • It is actually easier to send the bubbles on up to the items and Jubbles the higher up they are! Shoot the bubbles up as high as possible. As soon as you fire one bubble, instantly begin charging up a second.
  • If you have a break, swim to the middle so you are equidistant from both sides.

Pad Your Stats...

Send a score of 540 in Nimmos Pond.

Tips for Nimmo's Pond:
  • Do not move around on your lilly pad. Stick to your starting position and only rotate, using your left and right arrow keys.
  • Fire like crazy by pressing space over and over. Try and aim for the lilly pads though, don't just fire around.
  • When a lilly pad gets dangerously close to you, use the B key to throw a bomb, it will then dissolve into tinier ones.
  • Use the V key to grab the powerups with your tongue. You'll want to level up your shooter. The best powerups for this are the yellow ones, as they will give you three bullets at once. If you don't have any yellow powerups, go for green or orange.

November 24th - Day 5
Game Challenge
Take Your Best Shot!

Send a score of 50 in Ultimate Bullseye II.

Tips for Ultimate Bullseye II:
  • Check out our Ultimate Bullseye II Game Guide!
  • The game code catapult gives you a random powerup. One use per game.
  • If you hit the bullseye with your last arrow, you'll get three more shoots. This only happens once, if you hit another bullseye with the last or your three extra shots, you won't get three other extra shoots.
  • Hitting the apple with the Meridell balloon will reward you 50 points.
  • Practice playing without moving the position of your catapult at all. Ideally, all you have to worry about is the speed at which you fire. The only exception to this is if you get a balloon that is higher than what you could hit no matter what your speed is set at.
  • If you get a fair amount of bullseyes, save one inverted target powerup for your last try, as if you get another bullseye on it you will be allowed to keep going.
  • Don't bother using the moving target or growing and shrinking target powerups unless you know what you are doing. If you're not used to them, they are simply a guaranteed miss or low scoring hit.
  • Unless you are uncannily good at shooting bullseyes, always go for the balloons when they appear, even if it means missing the target just to hit them. They are easy to hit, and they are therefore a free five points to your score.

Game Challenge
Ready Or Not, Here They Come!

Send a score of 439 in Flycatcher AND a score of 31200 in Ugga Drop.

Tips for Flycatcher:
  • The game code deliciousflies gives you 1 extra life. One use per game.
  • When the level starts, pick a position where your tongue can reach all the way to the top of the screen without hitting a flower.
  • When the flies are no longer at the top, pick a position where your tongue doesn't go all the way to the top of the screen. If it hits a flower you will be able to try catching a fly again faster when you miss a fly.
  • Try to eat the wasps, they are worth 20 points, but don't let them sting you!

Tips for Ugga Drop:
  • Read SunnyNeo's Ugga Drop game guide.
  • Try not to drop before the "Go!" message, you will lose points. Press spacebar as early as you can after the countdown.
  • Make sure none of your enemies bump into you, this will slow you down. Instead of letting them bump into you, bump into them.
  • Try and get 1st place every time, just completing the game isn't enough.
  • Try and collect as many tokens as you can for the upgrades.
  • If you land in the mud, you are out for that round and lose a life. Land on the platform instead.
  • You can usually open your parachute once your character reaches the lowest ledge (with the rope ladder).
  • There are 20 rounds to this game, you get 2,000 points each time you come in first, 1,000 points for second. Max score for the game is 40,000 points.

Ready, Set, Aim!
Game Challenge
In Neopia, The Cooties Get You!

Send a score of 410 in Cooty Wars.

Tips for Cooty Wars:
  • Try to shoot the parachute of a Mootix when it as far down as possible on the first few levels. Aim to earn 7-10 points. In the later levels don't wait to shoot the Mootix, they drop so quickly you'll end up missing them
  • Don't bother shooting the bugs flying by that give you bonus points unless you have a good amount of free time. The bugs are hard to hit, and you could miss a Mootix while you are trying to hit one of the little devils.
  • Play on the largest screen size. This will make it easier for you to target the parachutes when they get smaller.

Petpetpet Poison Slushie
Mystery Challenge
Sandans Rock!

Send a score of 26650 in Jumpin' Gem Heist.

Tips for Jumpin' Gem Heist:
  • Many people find it helpful to play the game in a larger size in its own window. This gets rid of some glitches and also helps you to see objects better. Use this link to play the game in a larger size in its own window.
  • If two baskets are close together, you can hit them both by throwing you stone right in between them.
  • Catching 5 gems in a row without letting any shatter on the ground gives you a combo bonus. The combo bonus is worth 1000 points (more than anything else in the game) so this is a major source of points. As a general rule, don't throw your stone at a basket unless you're sure you can catch all of the gems before they fall to the ground.
  • You start the game with 3 stones. If you don't catch the stone that you threw at a basket, you lose a stone and you will also be stunned for a few seconds. If you lose all 3 of your stones, your game is over.
  • Some baskets have extra stones. The maximum amount of stones you can have in reserve is three. If you already have 3 stones, and you catch an extra stone from a basket, you get 750 bonus points, which is worth more than any of the single gems. To get a high score, make sure not to lose any of your stones and to then target the baskets that contain extra stones.
  • Getting extra time is really important, so make sure to target the baskets with the clocks. Catching a clock will give you five extra seconds.
  • You can't hit every basket, so go for the ones worth the most points. The larger gems are worth the most points, while the smaller gems are worth the least points. Green gems are worth more than any other gem (500 points each) so try to hit the baskets that contain green gems.
  • Collecting stones, green gems and clocks are the most helpful things aside from getting combos. So hitting baskets that contain green gems, a stone or a clock should be a priority.

Angry Bori Foreman Action Figure
November 23rd - Day 4
Mystery Challenge
Think Outside The Box!

Send a score of 275 in Faerie Cloud Racers.

Tips for Faerie Cloud Racers:
  • The game code faerie removes all obstacles for one round. Try using the faerie code on level 4- level 4 has the most obstacles of any level (except the last level, and you shouldn't need to get anywhere near the last level in order to beat AAA.)
  • Try to make a small box around your opponent- this will cause them to have little room to move, and they will crash into an object or trail.
  • Once you've made the box around your opponent, head for the most open area of the screen available and just drive around.
  • In level 5, there will be few obstacles, but the game will suddenly get much faster. If you have a problem maneuvering while going so fast, then don't worry about strategy or boxing in your opponent; just drive around randomly, trying to avoid obstacles, until your opponent crashes.
  • Don't be nervous to complete the level as fast as possible.
  • You should complete the level in about 10/15 sec.
  • 70% of the time the other faerie goes up, so it's a good strategy to go down and then go up at the end trying to close off the other faerie
  • It doesn't matter at all which faerie you choose- they're all the same.

Dark Faerie Cloud Racer Helmet
Game Challenge
Don't Lose Your Cool!

Send a score of 2950 in Ice Cream Machine AND a score of 643 in Igloo Garage Sale - The Game.

Tips for Ice Cream Machine:
  • The game code strawberryvanillachocolate gives you an extra life when typed before the start of a level. One use per game.
  • The yellow scoop with a cherry on top is worth 100 points and the blue fish scoop is worth 250 points. A large amount of your points will come from collecting these scoops, so try hard to collect them any time you see them.
  • Extra lives are important- the pink scoop with the heart on it will give you an extra life, so collect it whenever you can.
  • Collecting the red scoops causes the ice cream to slow down. This powerup will stack- the more you collect, the slower the ice cream will go. This can be helpful, but make sure not to slow things down too much, especially in later levels, or you're likely to get stuck behind walls of slow-moving ice cream that you can't escape from.
  • The purple scoop which has a small outline of a chia on it will cause your character to shrink down, making it easier for you to dodge ice cream. It's very useful to have, and this powerup also stacks, meaning your character will get continually smaller as you collect more of these purple scoops.
  • The green scoop causes the ice cream to speed up- you don't want this! You also don't want to collect the light blue scoop which has an outline of a chia on it- it will make you larger, and therefore it will be harder for you to dodge the ice cream. Both of these powerups will also stack.
  • If you collect the cherry scoop, the fish scoop, the strawberry bomb, the shield, or the extra life, it will cancel all of your stacked powerups, so be aware of this. The strawberry bomb is fairly useless, and the shield only lasts a short while, so you may not want to collect either of these two scoops if you're under the effects of good powerups.
  • Attempt to stay around the middle of the screen so that you don't get trapped against a wall.
  • Don't move around too much. You can usually stay still most of the time in the first few levels, only making slight movements left and right.
  • Be careful not to right click with your mouse, as this will cause your game to automatically end!

Tips for Igloo Garage Sale:
  • The game code frozensnowflake allows you to drop 6 items instead of 5. One user per game. Type the code during the waiting screen before a tough round.
  • Catch all the items in a round, and your score for that round will be doubled.

Igloo Ice Cream Cone
Game Challenge
It Takes A Thief...

Send a score of 100 in Ruins Rampage.

Tips for Ruins Rampage:
  • Ruins Rampage is not a timed game, so take your time. Don't be hasty because you might get torched or shot.
  • Remember where the booby traps are at, so you don't run into them twice.
  • Also remember where the switches for the spikes are. Once you know where everything is, the game lets itsself get played fairly easily.

How to Survive
November 22nd - Day 3
Game Challenge
Bounce To The Top

Send a score of 152 in Super Hasee Bounce AND send a score of 500 in Bouncy Supreme.

Tips for Super Hasee Bounce:
  • Instead of trying to aim, focus on where your Hasee is landing, so as not to lose any lives.
  • Collect any bonus point items (doughnutfruits) before you collect all the letters, as this finishes the level.
  • The closer to the edge of the seesaw, the higher the Hasee will bounce. This can be helpful when aiming for specific balloons.
  • Watch out for the wind on the later levels, this could blow the Hasee's off track easily and make it harder for you to control them.
  • You need to make use of the 2x, 3x and 5x powerup bubbles. If your Hasee gets one of them you have a few seconds to also get letters and doughnut fruits which will then double in points (or more depending on the powerup). If you do not make use of these, you will not be able to get 1000 points when you finish level 15.
  • Restart the game until your level 1 starts with at least one or two multiplier powerups.
  • Playing on normal mode is fine, you don't need to play on hard mode.

Tips for Bouncy Supreme:
  • The game code bouncebouncebounce gives you an extra life. One use per game.
  • Don't look at the time but focus on jumping from rock to rock. You will have plenty of time to get to the next rock.
  • Use the coins to position the angle of your jump. Your mouse should always be a little below the coins

Jelly Blumaroo Jelly
Timed Challenge
Anti-Gravity Propulsion

Send a score of 10 in Zurroball. (Click on "Start Timer" to begin this challenge.)

Tips for Zurroball:
  • First try out the different types of balls to see which one you can handle the best.
  • Clicking on the 'N' on the spacesuit of the floating Grundo will unlock the Grundoball. This one and the energy ball are considered the easiest balls to use for starters. The metal ball is the hardest ball to keep up.
  • If you do a trick (by letting the ball bounce against the walls, you can earn points much quicker than by just keeping the ball in the air.

Zurroball Grundo Plushie
Mystery Challenge
Don't Get Swamped!

Send a score of 150 in Sophie's Stew.

Tips for Sophie's Stew:
  • Type hungrymeowclops for an extra life. One use per game.
  • Type the game code in pieces, first type hungry, then the next time you have time type meow, and then finally type clops. This will allow you to get an extra life without losing one.
  • Bounce the items off of the right side of your wand in order to make them go towards the right and into the cauldron.
  • You can use either the mouse or the arrow keys to move the wand. Using the mouse is much easier.
  • If you move the wand to the right as you bounce the items off of it, it will make the item go farther, allowing you to get them into the cauldron faster.
  • If you drop an item, you lose a life. However, if you drop an item right above the Meowclops, the Meowclops will eat it and you will not lose a life.
  • A Droolik will fly overhead and drop powerups from the top of the screen. Grab the green powerup for an extra life. Grab the blue one to increase the size of your wand. Avoid the red powerup, as it decreases your wand size.
  • If an item bounces off of the side of the cauldron, sit by the cauldron and let the item bounce back off of the right side of your wand. This should cause it to go into the cauldron.
  • As the game goes on, Sophie will throw the items more quickly, and you may have to juggle several items at once. Different items are worth different amounts of points, so if you have multiple items in the air and have to choose one to drop, drop the one with the lower point value. The point values are as follows:
    • Grape Gummy Rat: 5
    • Pile Of Dung: 5
    • Glaring Eye Wrap: 6
    • Brain Ice Cream: 6
    • Spooky Doughnut: 6
    • Twirly Fruit: 7
    • Octornapie Tentacle: 7
    • Red Scorchiopepper: 8
    • Hot Worm Hot Dog: 8
    • Tongue Wrap: 8
    • Spoc Spoc Grub: 9
    • WooWoo Grub: 10
    • Blue Fish Pop: 10
    • Mau Codestone: 12
    • Ghost Marshmallow: 15

November 21st - Day 2
Game Challenge
A Towering Achievement...

Send a score of 125 in Wicked Wocky Wobble.

Tips for Wocky Wobble:
  • Use the game code wocky when you're holding 3 or more items. This will cause a Buzzer to appear and drop a ball. When you catch the ball, your items will freeze for a few seconds and there will be no danger of dropping them during that time. Type "wock" at the start of the game, before you're holding any items. Then you can just type in the "y" once once you have 3 or more items, causing the Buzzer to appear. The Buzzer usually appears near the middle of the screen, so try to be standing there when you use the code.
  • There is no penalty for letting items fall on the ground, so don't bother to catch the items that aren't worth many points, such as the Twirly Fruits (they look like green shells) and the Oranella (they look like orange plants.)
  • Once you've got two items in your stack, plushies (which are worth more points) will start falling, so try to catch them and ignore the lower scoring items.Below is a chart of the items and their value.
    • Green Fruit = 11 points
    • Orange Fruit = 11 points
    • Hearts Book = 22 points
    • Golden Shell = 22 points
    • Spotted Jetsam Plushie = 35 points
    • Mutant JubJub Plushie = 35 points
    • Garlic JubJub Plushie = 35 Points
    • Snow Faerie Plushie = 50 points
    • Illusen Plushie = 50 points
    • Grey Ixi Book = 50 points
    • Sun Tan Lotion = 80 Points
    • Illusen Snowglobe = 80 points
    • Golden Sun Book = 80 points
    • Flaming Coconut Head = 111 points
    • Orange / Purple Flashing Fruit = 111 points
  • Sometimes a Warf or a Drackonack will come to block your way. When you see it coming, move towards it if you can; this will give you more room on the screen to move around, because it will stop when you get close to it.
  • Stay in the center of the screen ignoring all of the items that are out of your reach.
  • Moving around too much will mess up your balance.
  • If your pile moves to the right, make a tiny movement to the right until your pile moves to the left. Then you move to the left until the pile moves to the right again. This is how you keep balanced.

How Not to Topple
Mystery Challenge
Stumped Yet?

Send a score of 284 in Turmac Roll.

Tips for Turmac Roll:
  • Always play on hard mode. This is only slightly more difficult then easy and medium, but will give you three times as much points as playing on easy mode.
  • Keep an eye out for the following berries, since they give lots of points:
    • Fishberry (blue and fish shaped): 75 points on hard mode
    • Jumbleberry (pink): 150 points on hard mode
    • Juicy berry (orange): 225 points on hard mode
    • Unguberry (red and small): 300 points on hard mode
    • Aquaberry (Bleu and shaped like a droplet): 600 points on hard mode
  • When you're on a hill and there's a tree right behind the hill, use to up key to jump at the top of the hill to get safely over the tree.
  • The beginning of the game is always the same. After that, the same obstacles repeat over and over (though not in the same order.) With practice, you can figure out how to clear each of the obstacles, and then the game becomes quite easy.
  • The hardest obstacle to clear is the one where there are three stumps in a row- a big one with a small one on each side. Try jumping right before the first small stump, and then continuing to hold the up arrow key until you've passed all the stumps.
  • If you're not very good at the game, just keep playing until you get an aqua berry (the blue one shaped like a tear drop.) A single aqua berry in hard mode will give you 600 points.
  • Jump on each hill and each tree, as they may be followed by an obstacle. It's better to be safe than sorry.
  • This game takes a lot of tries and a bit of luck, so you might have to take a break after awhile.
  • Make sure you use the right arrow key to speed up; it's especially useful after jumping on obstacles.

Some Assembly Required...

Send a score of 204 in Freaky Factory.

Tips for Freaky Factory:
  • Try to fill up all the vats no matter which colour you need next, it will improve your chances at the bonus for consecutive plushies.
  • Keep the Grundo from stealing your plushies by clicking on him.
  • Do your best to aim the paint blobs, overfilling vats and splashing are your enemies.
  • Click the soap blob when needed to clean up your waste.
  • The Angel blob fills up whichever vat it lands in, so aim carefully.
  • The Glowing blob upgrades all the plushies on the belt, this is a very good thing.
  • The Clock blob adds time, this is good.
  • The multicoloured blob with electrons around it will fill all your vats, don't worry about aiming for this one.
  • When starting the game, try filling up the two vats you don't need for the first plushie before you fill up the needed colour.
  • Once in a while, a paint blob with an angry face might appear. Don't click on this one, since it will only make your dirt meter go up.

Sailin' Sidekicks

Send a score of 434 in Petpet Cannonball.

Tips for Petpet Cannonball:
  • Snowbunny and Angelpuss are the heaviest petpets. They'll give out the most points. Buzzer and Slorg give out the least points.
  • If you've got enough tries left, you might want to miss with the Buzzer and Slorg (and possibly Babaa) on purpose. In that way, you'll get more points for a shot. Don't do this if you've less than three tries left.
  • Sometimes, a Tenna will appear. Always try to shoot right with this one, since it'll give you around 20 bonus points (more on higher levels)
  • To aim, draw an mental line between the cannon and the bucket to calculate the angle.
  • Don't use too much power to fire. Keep the power around half.
  • Keep an eye on when you level up (a message will appear). You might need to change the angle you're aiming for slightly when you've gone up a level.

Rock & Roll

Send a score of 450 in Barf Boat AND send a score of 400 in Ready to Roll.

Tips for Barf Boat:
  • Unless you just bought a new computer last week, this game probably will not run properly for you. You'll have to wait a few minutes at the loading screen, and once the game finally starts, it will often lag, causing you to die instantly. In order to beat this challenge, go out and purchase a new computer right now. Failing that, try playing on low quality and the smallest size. If you somehow get this game to work, try to focus on just one petpet.
  • The easiest petpet to focus on is whichever one is closest to the middle of the boat. Don't worry so much about the other petpets, especially the ones near the edge- if you try to save them, you'll end up losing all your petpets, and then it's game over.
  • Avoid the cannonballs by jumping over them.
  • The coins that pop out give a bonus of 30 points, but chasing after them is a bad idea that will probably get you killed.

Tips for Ready to Roll:
  • Gather the sun tokens for extra points. For every 10 sun tokens you collect, you'll gain an extra life.
  • Relax! This game is all about patience. Make small movements by only moving your mouse a little. Large, unorthodox movements will cause you to lose.
  • Keep playing level 1 until you can get all the sunnies. It's not that difficult, and you can quickly restart if you mess up.
  • Your main objective should be finishing the levels, as you get 150 points for each level you finish.
  • On stage 2-2, try to rotate the board steadily at a medium speed in order to sort of float in the air, right between the spiked walls and the rotating spike ball.
  • After finishing level 2-2, you should have enough points.

Now You See Them, Now You Don't...

Send a score of 439 in Flycatcher AND a score of 4500 in Goparokko.

Tips for Goparokko:
  • Play the game on the easiest mode. It may reward less points than hard, but unless you're an expert at the game it's much easier to get to 5,000 on this mode. Slow and steady wins the race.
  • Try to combine the 4x and 2x blocks together for extra points.
  • The dynamite block destroys all other blocks of the same colour, the timer block will give you more time. Use the dynamite block as often as you can, not only does this give more points, with one colour less for a short time, it's easier making combo's.
  • Combining a dynamite block with one or more 2x or 4x blocks will give you more extra points. Combo's with a dynamite block and at least two times a 4x block or more are rare to make but very much more with!
  • Try to form the squares in the least amount of time possible, saving you time.
  • If a block with a lock on it appears, try to get rid of it as soon as you can, as more will appear, and you don't want to be stuck with multiple locked blocks later on in the game.
  • Always look for new block squares you can form. If you're about to solve an easy combination, first look around for a few seconds for some combinations. In easy mode, the timer refills itself basically all the way to the top every time you solve a puzzle, so there's really no rush.
  • Blocks with the hour glass will give you extra time.

Get The Best Of Those Pests!

Send a score of 560 in Itchy Invasion.

Tips for Itchy Invasion:
  • The game code pest restores your Pest-B-Gone to full. One use per game.
  • Pay close attention to the red warning that will flash on the screen when your Pest-B-Gone is almost empty- if you run out of Pest-B-Gone, your game is over.
  • Try to shoot all the petpetpets (P3s.) It will give you a bigger bonus when the level is over if you shoot them all. If you don't have time to shoot all the P3s and have to choose, try to shoot the ones with higher point values.
  • The green robotic P3 restores your Pest-B-Gone to full, and the pink robotic P3 destroys all the P3s on the screen. Both of these are very important and you must shoot them any time you see one.

Petpetpet Poison Slushie
Mystery Challenge
Sandans Rock!

Send a score of 30650 in Jumpin' Gem Heist.

Keep On Swinging!

Send a score of 200 in Caves and Corridors: Mystery Island.

Tips for Caves and Corridors: Mystery Island:
  • Watch the falling rock carefully, you do not want it to hit you. Where needed, wait for it to pass you. You may also want to skip certain coins/gold if its too dangerous to get with the falling rocks coming at you. Getting the fruit is the most important.
  • The spikes are not very visible, they go up and down, to pass them, simply wait for them to go down.

Bounce To The Top

Send a score of 246 in Super Hasee Bounce AND send a score of 500 in Bouncy Supreme.

Hit The Beach!

Send a score of 80 in Mynci Beach Volleyball. (Click on "Start Timer" to begin this challenge.)

Tips for Mynci Beach Volleyball:
  • The game code turdle makes a Turdle appear in your opponents field. One use per game.
  • The game code dirigibles makes a balloon fly across the screen (does nothing).
  • Try scoring in the empty space in front of or behind your opponent.
  • Hitting the pawkeet with the ball will give you handy power-ups most of the time.
  • Strategy for a good launch: when you serve just run toward the net and throw the ball at the last moment. ( see the last white spot on the floor.)
  • The opponent is a bit slower than you so he will not be able to take the ball.
  • You get 10 points for each point you have more than your opponent and 50 points for winning the round, so if you win round 1 with 12-0 you get 170 for that round.

Loosen Your Belt...

Send a score of 175 in Hungry Skeith.

Tips for Hungry Skeith:
  • There are three kinds of jellies: red, blue and green. All the other things on the belt the Skeith can eat. The jellies give out the following points
    • Red Jelly: 3
    • Blue Jelly: 5
    • Green Jelly: 6
  • Have your Buzz stand in the middle of the conveyor belt. If you stand to close to the Skeith, you won't have another chance to get the jellies when you miss them
  • The first levels move slow. Use them to practise on moving fast already, since the belt will speed up on later levels. You use the spacebar to get the jellies from the belt, the up key to move the Buzz to the vats, the left and right arrow keys to get the right vat and again the spacebar to drop the jelly into the right vat. The faster you can do this, the better your chances at the game are.
  • You can only make five mistakes (let the Skeith eat a jelly or drop a jelly in the wrong vat) during the whole game, so if you make one during the early levels, restart the game. You'll be needing those chances to go wrong during the higher levels, when the game speeds up.

Additional Challenge Help

For each challenge there are certain requirements that you must meet to beat the challenge, as you can see in the table further up the page. Although challenges are given out daily, you may complete them at any time before the challenge's deadline, which this year is November 29th. For each challenge you complete you are eligible to receive a prize. Once you complete a challenge the little gray gift box will turn into a red or blue gift box, depending on your team. Then you must click on it, a pop up will open and tell you the prize you have been awarded.

The challenges revolve around a group of selected qualifying games. Each year the list of games changes and is expanded. The odd number of games is due to the addition of several sponsor games. For some challenges, people from the USA will play a sponsor game whereas non-USA people will have a different, non-sponsor game.

This year there are 5 types of challenges.

Help Questions and Answers

TNT has decided to make Games Master Challenge a little different this year. Below you can read the updated help questions and answers:

1. What is AAAs involvement in this years GMC?
AAA has decided that he cant be bothered with playing the games in this years GMC , so he is going to oversee the competition instead. Having proved himself by virtue of winning last years challenge, he is now going to sit back and watch others duke it out. AAA has enlisted the help of two well-known Neopians to serve as the team captains in this years Games Master Challenge, Captain Threelegs and The Techo Master. Both have come to Roo Island to lead their respective teams in a week-long competition and see whose squad has the better gamers.

2. What is the difference between Team Pirate and Team Ninja?
While there is some overlap in the challenges that the teams will receive, generally speaking, Team Ninjas games tend to be more puzzle and logic challenge oriented, whereas Team Pirates games are typically more action and adventure based.

3. When does the Games Master Challenge start and end?
The Games Master Challenge will begin on the afternoon (NST) of November 19th. Day 1 will end at 11:59:59 pm NST on November 20th. Each day after that will be a typical 24 hour day from midnight to 11:59:59 pm. The Games Master Challenge will end at 11:59:59 pm on November 26th.

4. Once I have selected my team, can I go back and change it later?
No. Once you have selected your team, you are locked in for the duration of the event.

5. What is the meter for?
The meter keeps track of which team is winning. At the end of the event, participants on the winning team will receive a prize.

6. How do I earn points for my team?
You can earn points for your team by participating in the initial challenge and by completing the bonus challenges.

7. What are timed challenges?
There are a few challenges during the GMC that will be timed. Once a challenges timer has been activated, you will have 24 hours to complete that challenge. If you do not complete the challenge in the time given, you will not receive credit or a prize for that challenge. You also wont be able to play any related bonus challenges if you do not complete the initial challenge in the time allotted.

8. Are the bonus challenges for timed challenges also timed?
Nope! Once you have completed the initial timed challenge, you may then complete the bonus challenges for that challenge at any time.

9. Does each team have the same number of challenges to complete?
Yes. No matter which team you select, the level of participation required is exactly the same.

10. Does each team have a different list of qualifying games?
No, the list of qualifying games is the same for both teams. This is a complete list that includes all of the qualifying games for both teams.

11. Do I have to complete the bonus challenges in order to qualify for the highest trophy tier?
No. The bonus challenges do not count toward the overall completion of the GMC challenges. They simply add to your teams overall score.

12. What do the checkmarks mean on the Progress page?
When you complete a challenge on the day it is released, a gold checkmark will appear over the challenge icon. If you complete a challenge on a day other than the day it was released, then the checkmark will be green.
