What does the Toy Repair Shop do?
The Toy Repair Shop is located on the Top of the Mountain in Terror Mountain. The shopkeeper is an old Bori named Donny. Donny takes your broken items and fixes them. But fixing items isn't always for free. For most items he'll charge you a few hundred neopoints, but occasionally if he hasn't seen the item for a while he'll fix the item for free!




Fixing items
Inside the Toy Repair Shop you'll see all of your current inventory's items. If you click on an image of an item, and it's an item that's fixable, he'll ask if you'd like it repaired.

After clicking "Yes, go ahead and repair it", Donny will fix your item and will take an amount of neopoints. After this, your item is fixed!

Fixing items for free
Every once in a while, Donny will say he hasn't seen an item for a few days and say he'll fix the item for free.

Fixing Neopoints
When Underwater Fishing in The Ruins of Maraqua, you might come across a 'Bag of Broken Neopoints'. Finding it is random, but it's a good idea take the Bag of Broken Neopoints to the Toy Repair Shop to let Donny fix it.




Inside the Toy Repair Shop you'll see all of your current inventory's items. If you have a Bag of Broken Neopoints in your inventory and click on the image, he'll ask if you'd like it repaired.

After clicking "Yes, go ahead and repair it", Donny will fix the Bag of Broken Neopoints and will take an amount of neopoints. You'll now get real neopoints from this item!

Breaking Items
Although Donny can fix items, he can also break them. This happens very rarely, but it can happen to any of your broken items. When Donny breaks an item, you will get a Pile of Rubble in return.

Disintegrating Items
Although Donny can break your items, your items could also disintegrate and turn into a Pile of Sludge. This is very rare to see, but it does happen.

Donny's Cough
While trying to fix your items, Donny might break out in a horrible coughing fit. The only way to let him continue fixing your broken item is to "Pat him on the back". Here is a list of his sayings:

"Just gimme a minute to *cough cough* get through this *hack cough*" "I haven't *hack cough* had a fit this bad *cough* since back in the winter of '42!" "I'll just *cough* be a second *hack cough* whew *cough*"

After patting him on the back a few times he'll finish coughing and fix your item for you.

Not all broken items can be fixed
Even though you might have an item that has the word "Broken", "Ripped", "Torn" etc. in its name, it doesn't mean Donny will always fix it for you.

If Donny can't fix it
Occasionally, when asking Donny to fix your item, he'll tell you he is unable to repair the item. When this happens, Donny will take your broken item, in return he'll give you an item he had lying around in his shop.

Toy Repair Shop during plots
In the past, the Toy Repair Shop has been used in plots. It was first used during the Lost Desert Plot when you needed to take the 'Dirty Stone Fragment' to Donny and let him clean it for you.

In the Altador Plot, you can let Donny repair the 'Broken Astrolabe' that you receive in the step for Constellation 6.

It's possible that the Toy Repair Shop will be a part of future plots, only TNT knows...
