About the Bank
If you have opened a bank account at the National Neopian you will be able to collect interest every day. The number of neopoints you get each day is based on two things: firstly the number of neopoints in your account; secondly your bank account type. The better your account is, the higher interest rate you will have. You can see the interest rates in the table below:

Bank Bribery Boon
Some events give a boon that you can choose. This boon is called "Bank Bribery" and it will add an extra 3% to your existing interest rate. When you win this boon from skirmish battles, this boon only lasts a week. Sometimes they will release boons in other events though, like Charity Corner. These boons can last longer. The charirty coner boon increased your interest for a whole year.

Calculating Interest

What if you wanted to know how much interest you would be getting if you had a certain amount of money in your bank account? You can use our interest calculator to find out! If you set the settings to 'automatic' the calculator will assume you have chosen the highest account possible for the amount of money that you own. If you have a different bank account you can choose a different setting. You can choose to enter your balance with or without commas (1000 or 1,000). If you have the bank bribery boon from an event or skirmish battles, then check the yes box.

Your yearly interest result from this calculator will be different from the one shown on Neopets. The reason for this is that this calculator also takes into account the interest you collect daily. Naturally you will also receive interest over the neopoints you collected as interest (under the condition that you do not remove them from your bank account).
