New Game Challenge

What is the New Game Challenge?
New Game Challenge is an ongoing Neopets site event that takes place in the Games Room. It was first introduced in July of 2009.

The event is mock-hosted by Aristotle A. Avinroo, better known as AAA, his little sister Abigail and their cousin Lulu. Each time a new flash game is released on the site, a New Game Challenge will be available. Each Challenge will be open until the next new game is released. Much like in the game Better Than You, you must then play the game and send a specified score set by TNT. AAA, Abigail and Lulu will each have a different score and different prize reward. AAA is better at games than his little sister, so his score will be set higher. Lulu's score is generally higher than Abigail's but lower than AAA's. For this challenge, you do not need to choose which of the regular challengers (AAA or Abigail) to challenge. Just submit a score that beats either one and you will get the prize. Unlike Daily Dare, if you have beaten Abigail, you may play again to try for AAA's score. You will still receive the prize item.

There is not a specific time limit for completing the challenge. Each challenge will be available until the next new flash game is released. Of course, we won't know if the next game is due in one day or a few weeks! You may also send scores for neopoints five times a day as long as the game is active in this challenge.

We have created some cool Daily Dare goodies for you to use. These feature the same characters as the New Game Challenge, so you might find something you like here, including sweet stuff such as adoptables, a userlookup, icons, and shields.




NC Mall Challenge
Cousin Lulu is also a challenger for the New Game Challenge. To challenge Lulu, you must purchase a New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket from the NC Mall. A single game ticket costs 200 NC. There are no multi-game tickets. Once purchased, you must activate your ticket before you can earn a prize from Lulu. Once activated, the ticket cannot be used again. The tickets will be valid for any single New Game Challenge. The design of the tickets may change with each new game released. Prizes earned from the NC Challenge are also NC items and cannot be sold for neopoints.

Invasion: Blastoids NC Game Ticket Design: New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket - Series 23	Game Codes: No known codes for this game. Tips and game play: Filling up the meter at the bottom of the screen will make you able to shoot super blastoids when it it filled up. Once you've filled it up when a level ends, you can sometimes unlock a bonus level as well for loads of extra points (we're not fully sure how the bonus levels work at the moment.) During bonus levels, keep shooting to get as many Super blastoid combo's as possible! You can collect red planets (collecting 10 of them gives an extra live) and green capsules (will make your ship invincible for a short while) by shooting at them. Shoot at them when you get a colour you can't use to ad at that moment. Aim carefully, so you'll only be destroying the blastoids. If you get a rock in the line which is not a matching colour (like a red one between two yellow rocks, this will only make you line longer, meaning it will take you more time to destroy the blastoid. Avoid hitting rocks and space trash, they'll only waste your shot, making you loose time during which the blastiods will get closer to Neopia! If you hit the brown rock in a blastoid, it will continue as a blastoid on it's own, threatening Neopia as well! Destroy all the other rocks and you can get rid of the brown one with a single shot in any colour.

Tips and game play: Place the outlines of a part with your mouse as quickly as possible. Click the left mouse button to stamp it. You get more points for placing a perfect cut, but it's not necessary. Time is more important. If you can't fit a part on your sheet, hit the SMELT-button to get a new one. It will take about 1 second to load. Use z/x keys to rotate, although I recommend not using those since it takes too much time.

Shenkuu Warrior II NC Game Ticket Design: New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket - Series 21	Game Codes: No known codes for this game. Tips and game play: Beginners should play on "training" mode, it is far easier to earn points on this mode. In "training" mode, just like the old version, your progress is saved at the beginning of each level. Use your mouse to collect the coins. Collecting all the coins in a pattern (circle or diagonal) will give you a 2x bonus. If you find it hard to collect coins, try swirling your mouse over the pattern as many times as possible and still have time to catch onto the next ramp. In the third level of "training" mode, broken/tattered ramps can be used by clicking on it once, breaking it, and then clicking on it again. In "zen" mode, purple clouds will disappear once you grapple onto them, forcing you to use a balloon ramp Kites and Kazeriu are very useful, especially the latter, however, pay attention as to when they run out.
