New Game Challenge

What is the New Game Challenge?
New Game Challenge is an ongoing Neopets site event that takes place in the Games Room. It was first introduced in July of 2009.

The event is mock-hosted by Aristotle A. Avinroo, better known as AAA, his little sister Abigail and their cousin Lulu. Each time a new flash game is released on the site, a New Game Challenge will be available. Each Challenge will be open until the next new game is released. Much like in the game Better Than You, you must then play the game and send a specified score set by TNT. AAA, Abigail and Lulu will each have a different score and different prize reward. AAA is better at games than his little sister, so his score will be set higher. Lulu's score is generally higher than Abigail's but lower than AAA's. For this challenge, you do not need to choose which of the regular challengers (AAA or Abigail) to challenge. Just submit a score that beats either one and you will get the prize. Unlike Daily Dare, if you have beaten Abigail, you may play again to try for AAA's score. You will still receive the prize item.

There is not a specific time limit for completing the challenge. Each challenge will be available until the next new flash game is released. Of course, we won't know if the next game is due in one day or a few weeks! You may also send scores for neopoints five times a day as long as the game is active in this challenge.

We have created some cool Daily Dare goodies for you to use. These feature the same characters as the New Game Challenge, so you might find something you like here, including sweet stuff such as adoptables, a userlookup, icons, and shields.




NC Mall Challenge
Cousin Lulu is also a challenger for the New Game Challenge. To challenge Lulu, you must purchase a New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket from the NC Mall. A single game ticket costs 200 NC. There are no multi-game tickets. Once purchased, you must activate your ticket before you can earn a prize from Lulu. Once activated, the ticket cannot be used again. The tickets will be valid for any single New Game Challenge. The design of the tickets may change with each new game released. Prizes earned from the NC Challenge are also NC items and cannot be sold for neopoints.

You can only use the left and right arrow keys to move the snowager around. Not the up and down keys. Collect all the green powerups, they will help you. Try to stay away from the red powerups. Rather than using space to freeze the Chia, its better to just hit him (with your face, not your body) it makes him drop your loot. Turn off your sound, it will help you to concentrate. Avoid bumping into the walls or other obstacles, otherwise you'll lose a life. You'll unlock any level you've played, so you can play it again later on without having to do the previous levels first.

Tips and game play: Press both the down and right or left arrow at the same time to make Hannah walk under places where she can't stand up. Keep an eye on your fuel and oxygen. If the later one runs out, you loose a life. You'll unlock any level you've played, so you can play it again later on without having to do the previous levels first. However, for most points, start with the first level.

Kookia NC Game Ticket Design: New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket - Series 18	Game Codes: No known codes for this game. Tips and game play: You must play on hard to beat AAA. You need to collect three Kookiths to unlock the bonus round. Once you've unlocked it, ignore them unless they're easy to collect. You will earn more points for each Kookith collected if you collect them in "chains". Try to position your mouse in front of a chain to grab them in a row quickly. If you wait a second before collecting the first group of Kookiths, you can string the second group on to the same chain for more points. When the meter fills up, you can press the space bar to slow down the Kookiths. This also works in the bonus rounds. The Kookiths appear in the same order each time for a scene, but the scenes are random.

Ugga Drop NC Game Ticket Design: New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket - Series 16	Game Codes: No known codes for this game. Tips and game play: Try not to drop before the "Go!" message, you will lose points. Press spacebar as early as you can after the countdown. Make sure none of your enemies bump into you, this will slow you down. Instead of letting them bump into you, bump into them. Try and get 1st place every time, just completing the game isn't enough. Try and collect as many tokens as you can for the upgrades. If you land in the mud, you are out for that round and lose a life. Land on the platform instead. You can usually open your parachute once your character reaches the lowest ledge (with the rope ladder). There are 20 rounds to this game, you get 2,000 points each time you come in first, 1,000 points for second. Max score for the game is 40,000 points.

Island Chef Academy NC Game Ticket Design: New Game NC Challenge Game Ticket - Series 15	Game Codes: No known codes for this game. Tips and game play: You don't have to wait for an order before you cut up your ingredients. Try to have all the choices cut up and ready when they're ordered. Each order will have a coloured glow, try to get all the dishes for that order finished at the same time. (None of the plates in the order will be served until they're all ready.) Put both plates of the same colour on the counter, then grab the pepper and hover over both plates. Hovering is enough, you do not have to drag and drop. Once a plate is spiced, you will see it turn red. At the higher levels you get dishes that need two ingredients. Put one of the two in the pan already so that all your pans need only one ingredient. The pans wont start cooking until both ingredients are in there. Look carefully at the times next to the pans. Start with the pan with the highest number of seconds to cook. Wait before adding the ingredient to the other pan of that colour until the first pan has counted down to about the same number of seconds left as your second pan. That way both pans will be done at the same time.

Tips and game play: Play on easy mode, the points are the same no matter what. There are only 3 rounds so you HAVE to destroy EVERY single of your opponents pieces to have enough points. You get 2350 for defeating all the enemies per round, 2350 * 3 rounds = 7050. If you can manage to beat the round in less then 30 turns you get bonus points as well. The white Xweetoks are the only pieces that can take out the fire Scorchios, so make sure you have at least one of those left or you will not be able to take out all the opponents and get all the points. Sometimes there are powerups on the board. Red gives you 1 attack, Blue gives you 1 defense, Green gives you 1 speed. You have to go to the spot they are on to get them on that character, once you pick it up, it will be gone. You can only have 1 buff on you at a time. If you pick up a 2nd one, it will replace the 1st buff. Once the character has been used, the buff will go away. Take it slow and think your moves out, theres no time limit, and you will have more luck getting the 7050 for defeating all enemies, rather then trying to do it 30 turns or less.

Tips and game play: You're not likely to hit every basket, so focus on the ones with more and better gems. It's also easier to collect the gems in baskets without rocks. You have to catch the stone you threw at the basket, or you lose a life. If you're full up on lives and catch an extra stone, you get about 750 bonus points, worth more than any of the single gems. (Worth 1,000 points in the early levels?) If you catch a series of five gems without dropping any, you get a combo bonus.
