Quest Log

Quest Log

Released on October 25th, 2023, the Quest Log is a fun and exciting way to complete various daily tasks and be rewarded with Neopoints and items. If you completed all daily quests for an entire week, then you'll receive a special bonus prize. The Quest Log also has various Tutorial Quests to encourage new players to explore Neopia and learn how to play Neopets.

🥳 UPDATE: After enough evidence for daily quests item prizes, we've concluded all quests reward items from a common prize pool. We've included those rewards and expanded our list below!

UPDATE #2: We've also noticed you must view the daily quest and tutorial first to activate the given tasks. If you try to complete a task ahead of time, your progress will not be counted in the quest log.

UPDATE #3: After further testing we've also made the discovery that claiming the daily bonus of 20,000 NP is optional. As long as you complete the 5 required daily quests, your weekly quest will still progress. But just in case, it's best to not miss out. We've also separated and archived past prizes into a separate page.

Daily Quests

Every day you will be given 5 quests, they may require you to complete one of your dailies, feeding or grooming a pet, purchasing an item from a Neopian Shop, etc. Every quest can reward you with a specific amount of Neopoints or a random item.

Under the Daily Quests section on the Quest Log, you can see all of the required quests to complete that day. At the top, you can see your daily and weekly quests progress, and a timer until the quests reset. Quests will reset at midnight NST When the quests reset, you'll be given a new set of quests to complete that day. If you skipped a quest or failed to complete a quest, when it resets you will lose progress on your weekly reward. So if you don't like your weekly prize, you could skip that day until you get a prize you like.

The rest of the page will display all pending quests you must complete. On the left will be the prize you will receive upon completion, and the right side displays the specific tasks you must complete.

Note: If you complete a daily quest ahead of time, your progress will not be counted. For example, if you feed your pet and then view the quest log later, you will notice your progress did not count. You must open the quest log first to activate the quests in order to complete those quests.

Possible Quests

Here are all possible quests you could be given, and some general advice on how to complete it, along with its fixed amount of Neopoints you could be rewarded with.

Purchase an Item
7,000 NP

You may be required to buy several items from a Neopian Shop. You could buy different items from different shops. You can find these Neopian Shops by exploring Neopia, or viewing our Map Links page to find various shops to visit.

If you buy an item from the Healing Springs or (from the recent Styling Studios update) the General Store, these will count towards this quest.

TIP: If you need to feed, groom, or customise a pet, you can buy new items from the shops we've listed below. This will let you complete your quests a bit faster.
Spin the Wheel
6,789 NP

You may be required to spin a specific wheel. If you're unaware about the wheels, these require you to spend a certain amount of Neopoints to spin it. When you spin it, you have a random chance of winning an item, Neopoints, lose an item, heal or hurt a pet, etc.

For your convenience, here's quick links to all of the wheels. Although from our testing, this quest only requires you to spin either Wheel of Excitement, Wheel of Knowledge, or Wheel of Mediocrity. We haven't received any quests for the other 3 wheels. Clicking on the book icon () will take you to the respective guide, and the question mark () shows brief information about the wheel.

Please note, the Wheel of Excitement does have the probability of landing on the Pant Devil section, and it could take a valuable item from your inventory. So be sure to double check your inventory and put anything valuable in your Safety Deposit Box.
Play a Game
1,500 NP

This quest requires you to play any game or classic game from the Games Room. You can consult SunnyNeo's Games Room to help you decide which game you'd like to play or view our guide for it.

TIP: If you play Fashion Fever, you can complete this quest within a matter of seconds by starting the game and submitting a score.
Customise a Pet
4,567 NP

This quest requires you to customise one of your pets. If you're looking for a new outfit, you can utilize SunnyNeo's WarehouseHQ to help you find an preview clothing. If you don't have any wearable items, you can get some from the NC Mall or from Uni's Clothing Shop in The Neopian Bazar.

Feed a Pet
5,000 NP

Complete this quest by feeding one of your pets. You can get free food from Giant Jelly, Giant Omelette, or by obtaining your Monthly Freebies. You can also buy new foods from The Bakery, Chocolate Factory, Hubert's Hot Dogs, Neopian Health Foods.

TIP: You can't feed a pet if they're in the Neolodge. If you don't want to check a pet out early, you could adopt a new pet and give them a home. But if you don't have any available pet slots, then we recommend keeping one pet out of the Neolodge to be able to complete this quest.

You can feed your pet in two ways. In your inventory, click the desired food item and clicking on the popup's Choose an Action select the pet you wish to feed and hit Submit.

Alternatively, on the Neopets homepage you can click one of your pets, then click on Feed and select the desired food item.

Groom a Pet
3,000 NP

You can complete this quest by grooming one of your pets. If you don't have any available grooming items in your Safety Deposit Box, then you can checkout the Grooming Parlour to get something new!

You can groom a pet in two ways. In your inventory, click the desired grooming item and clicking on the popup's Choose an Action select the pet you wish to groom and hit Submit.

Alternatively, on the Neopets homepage you can click one of your pets, then click on Groom and select the desired item.

Skipping a Quest

If you click on Skip Quest, you'll be prompted to confirm your action. If you are sure and cancel it, the quest will disappear.

Any skipped quests will visible on the Completed tab and will be translucent. However if you try to complete a task (ie: feed a pet) then that action will not make any progress towards that quest.

If you manually skip a quest or didn't complete a quest that day, then your daily and weekly rewards will no longer be obtainable. At midnight when the Quest Log resets, you'll have to start all over again and will have the option to work towards a different weekly reward. So make sure you don't miss a day or skip a quest if you don't want to lose that weekly reward.

Claiming Rewards

Once you've completed a quest, you'll need to click on the Claim Reward button. You'll be granted the prize listed.

After completing all daily quests, and claiming your rewards, you will notice the Daily Reward will be outlined and glowing. Simply click on it to receive your daily quest reward!

Clicking on the daily reward to claim will reveal a popup to confirm your action.

Prizes

Each quest can give you a specific amount of Neopoints, or a random item from a prize pool. From sufficient data, we've concluded that each quest shares the same item prize pool. However please note, each quest the Neopoints reward amount is fixed and not a random amount, as denoted above.

Old Prizes: To prevent confusion, we've separated previous daily quest prizes on a different page.

Permanent Prizes

These daily prizes may be permanent and we've verified they remain in the prize pool, even after the prize pools have rotated.

Weekly Rewards

On the Daily Quests tab, you can click on Weekly Reward to view what you will receive at the end of the week if you successfully completed all daily quests throughout that week.

As previously mentioned, if you skipped or failed a quest, at midnight when the quest log resets you will also have your weekly reward reset. This might be useful if you see a weekly reward you don't want, you could take a chance at skipping a day in hopes of getting a better weekly reward.

In this screenshot you'll see 7 books. Two of those are green and have a check mark, indicating we have a 2-day streak and successfully completed those daily quests. There are 5 grey books with a question mark, indicating we have 5 more days to complete all quests in order to receive the weekly reward. That weekly reward is listed on the right. After successfully completing all 7 daily quests, the weekly reward will be highlighted and glowing in yellow. That reward can be claimed by clicking on it.

Prizes

There are many prizes that can be obtained once a week, upon completing all seven daily quests. If you've received an item not included on this list, please Contact Us.

Old Prizes: To prevent confusion, we've separated previous weekly quest prizes on a different page.

Events

Currently we aren't sure what the Events tab does, however we believe it might be related to site-wide plots. We'll update this guide when we have more information.

Tutorial

The tutorial quests aims to teach new players how to play Neopets, and encourages them to explore Neopia. Each tutorial quest has several tasks you must complete to progress in the tutorial with differing rewards. When you complete a tutorial quest, you claim your reward by clicking on the Claim Reward button. If you reload the Quest Log page, you'll be able to proceed with the next quest in the tutorial.

Note: The quest log will only count completion of tasks if you visibly see the quest in the tutorial section. If you try to complete another tutorial task and don't see it listed, your progress will not be counted. For example, if you just started the tutorial and haven't completed the first set of quests, and you create a trading post or battle in the battledome, which is in later sets of quests,, they will not be counted until you've completed all previous quests and are specifically required to complete the tasks. In other words, if you complete a task ahead of time your progress will not be counted in the quest log.

You can view all tutorial related quests and their rewards on the Tutorial Tracking page.

Completed Quests

This tab section lists all the quests you've completed. It will display all previously completed daily quests, tutorial quests and event quests; along with the required tasks and the reward given. At this moment we are not sure if this removes all completed daily quests at the end of the week.

As of February 6th, 2024, we can confirm old quests do not get removed or paginated. So every quest you've completed will be listed all at once, therefore you should be forewarned this page can become very large and very slow.

FAQ

This is from the Neopets Support page, for your convenience we've listed them here. For up to date information, please consult the support page.

I did what the quest asked but didn’t get my reward! What gives?

You have to claim your reward in order to fully complete the quest; just completing the objective won’t quite do the trick! Visit your Quest log either on the Quest Log page or Quests side panel once the quest is over and claim the reward to complete the quest and receive your hard-earned gains!

Do I get something if I finish all of my quests?

You do! When you finish all of your quests in a single day, you’ll receive a reward for your hard work. And if you manage to get that reward 7 days in a row, you gain an even better reward!

What types of rewards can I get?
