What is the Wheel of Mediocrity?
The Wheel of Mediocrity is located in Tyrannia. The cost to spin the wheel is 100 neopoints. You can spin the wheel once every 40 minutes. And of course, you can only spin the wheel on your main account.

During the Save the Wheels site event in July 2010, the Wheel of Mediocrity was saved. The Wheel was redrawn from its old version and the prizes were revised. In this guide, you can see the various prizes available from the new Wheel of Mediocrity.
   

Results From The Wheel Of Mediocrity
There are 16 different spaces you can land on when spinning the wheel. Some are more common to get as a result than others. Below we've made an overview of all possible results.

	4,000 nps You receive 4,000 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 4,000 NP
	Aisha If your pet has faerie abilities, your active pet's ability level is reduced.   So it wasn't a good prize, but at least it wasn't mediocre, right? Bones the Aisha shrieks and decreases PETNAME's level in Heal! If your pet does not have faerie abilities, nothing happens.   A mediocre prize from a mediocre Wheel. Congrats. Bones the Aisha emits a shrieking cry, but nothing seems to happen.
	200 nps You receive 200 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 200 NP
	Tar You lose an item from your inventory.   So it wasn't a good prize, but at least it wasn't mediocre, right? You accidentally drop your Headless Von Roo Plushie into a pit of tar. . . it sinks out of reach!
	Earth Faerie Nothing happens if your active pet does not have any abilities.   A mediocre prize from a mediocre Wheel. Congrats. The Earth Faerie can't increase Petname's ability level because they don't have any! If your active pet does have one or more abilities, one of them raised a level.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. The Earth Faerie increases Petname's level in Ability!
	2,000 nps You receive 2,000 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 2,000 NP
	Pteradactyl Your active pet loses hit points.   So it wasn't a good prize, but at least it wasn't mediocre, right? A pterodactyl swoops down and bites (active pet's name)!
	Furniture You receive a piece of Tyrannian furniture.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. Dung Bed
	100 nps You receive 100 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 100 NP
	Airax You receive a Tyrannian petpet.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. Airax
	Trilobyte Receive a Tyrannian food item.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. Lean Meat Kebab
	500 nps You receive 500 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 500 NP
	Obelisk Nothing happens.   A mediocre prize from a mediocre Wheel. Congrats. You feel a strange desire to visit the obelisk... but noting else happens.
	Fireballs Your pets lose hit points.   So it wasn't a good prize, but at least it wasn't mediocre, right? Fireballs rain down from above and singe your Neopets!
	1,000 nps You receive 1,000 neopoints.   Huh, that prize isn't so bad. Enjoy it, I guess. 1,000 NP
	Grarrl Nothing happens.   So it wasn't a good prize, but at least it wasn't mediocre, right? A Grarrl appears and roars at Petname!

You can also get an avatar from the Wheel of Mediocrity, if the wheel stops on the 4,000 nps space.
 

Spinning Within Forty Minutes
You can only spin the wheel again 40 minutes after you've last collected your prize. If you try to do so before that time has passed, Plesio will tell you to come back later.
 

The Wheel of Mediocrity   Hey... you can't spin right now... Come back, uh, whenever. I guess. *shrug*

Skirmish Battles Wheel Boon
The ongoing Neopets event: Skirmish Battles, will award certain boons if your team wins. One of those is called Right Round Round Round. This boon allows you to spin each neopian wheel two times (Excitement, Extravagance, Knowledge, Mediocrity, Misfortune and Monotony) before having to wait the usual time to spin again. It is available from a win from Brute Squad, The Seekers, or randomly Awakened.
 

 

Old Wheel of Mediocrity
Before the Save the Wheels site event, the Wheel of Mediocrity looked slightly different. However, the prizes you could win were more or less the same. Below you can see how the Wheel has transformed:
