What Is The Wheel Of Excitement?
The Wheel of Excitement is located in Faerieland. The cost to spin the wheel is 500 neopoints. You can spin the wheel once every two hours. And of course, you can only spin the wheel on your main account.

During the Save the Wheels site event in July, 2010, the Wheel of Excitement was saved. The Wheel was redrawn from its old version and the prizes were revised. In this guide, you can see the various prizes available from the new Wheel of Excitement.
 

 

Results From The Wheel Of Excitement
There are 16 different spaces you can land on when spinning the wheel. Some are more common to get as a result than others. Below we've made an overview of all possible results.

	Lightning Bolt Your pets are struck by lightning and lose some hit points.   Darn. Well, you win some, you lose some. A lightning bolt shoots out of a cloud and ZAPS your Neopets!
	Healing Potion All your pets are healed.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! A Golden Light surrounds your pets... they are completely healed!
	2,500 Neopoints You win 2,500 Neopoints.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 2,500 NP
	500 Neopoints You win 500 Neopoints.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 500 NP
	Lava Ghoul All of your pets lose some hit points.   Darn. Well, you win some, you lose some. The Lava Ghoul flies down from a nearby cloud and breathes FIRE over your pets!
	Magic Item You receive a random magic item, includes morphing potions and healing potions.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! Green Kyrii Morphing Potion
	1,000 Neopoints You win 1,000 Neopoints.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 1,000 NP
	Dark Faerie Nothing happens if your active pet does not have any abilities above level one.   Chin up. It's better than nothing! The Dark Faerie cackles and waves her hands, but nothing happens.   If your active pet has at least one ability of level 2 or higher, a random ability will be lowered in level.   Darn. Well, you win some, you lose some. The Dark Faerie' cackles and decreases Petname's level in Burrow!
	Skull Your active pet gets a disease. The disease your pet will get will change every few months. Because all pets always get the same disease, the price for a cure may be very high. Read our Diseases and Cures page for some tips on healing.   Darn. Well, you win some, you lose some. THE SKULL!!! Petname starts to feel slightly feverish... maybe they have come down with a disease?
	Question Mark You win a random amount of neopoints, less than 500.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 345 NP
	5,000 Neopoints You win 5,000 Neopoints.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 5,000 NP
	Mystery Unknown, it's likely that nothing happens.   Chin up. It's better than nothing! Something mysterious happens to you and your pets... you are not sure what it is, however...
	Pant Devil The Pant Devil steals a random item from your inventory.   Darn. Well, you win some, you lose some. The Pant Devil appears and steals your Empty Lantern!   If there are no items in your inventory, you'll get this message instead.   Chin up. It's better than nothing! some. The Pant Devil cackles insanely, but you have no items to steal!
	400 Neopoints You win 400 Neopoints.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! 400 NP
	20,000 Neopoints You win 20,000 Neopoints and the Wheel of Excitement avatar.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! You found an avatar! Yay!
	Light Faerie Nothing happens if your active pet does not have any abilities.   Chin up. It's better than nothing! The Light Faerie cannot give Petname an increased level in an ability, because they do not have any!   If your active pet does have one or more abilities, one of them is raised a level.   Wow, what a spectacular prize! The Light Faerie inceases Petname's level in Heal!

The Avatar
You can also get an avatar from the Wheel of Excitement, if the wheel stops on the 20,000 nps space.
 


Spinning Within Two Hours
You can only spin the wheel again 2 hours after you've last collected your prize. If you try to do so before that time has passed, the Light Faerie will tell you to come back later.

Skirmish Battles Wheel Boon
The ongoing Neopets event: Skirmish Battles, will award certain boons if your team wins. One of those is called Right Round Round Round. This boon allows you to spin each neopian wheel two times (Excitement, Extravagance, Knowledge, Mediocrity, Misfortune and Monotony) before having to wait the usual time to spin again. It is available from a win from Brute Squad, The Seekers, or randomly Awakened.
