WHO IS SHE?



	Who is she, where did she come from and why is she so grumpy? Edna was published on February 3rd, 2004 by Reginald by the Neopian Times Company.	*Edna*



		Edna started out as a basic humanoid witch. While mixing her ingredients one day she slipped on a spilled anonymous spooky food and fell into her cauldron, changing her appearance forever. And that is how Edna became who neopians have come to know and love, or hate.



	The newly founded green zafara witch resides in her tower in the Haunted Woods. She continuously makes potions to perfect recipes and execute spells.



	Edna can create magical potions in her cauldron, but she needs your help to find the correct ingredients. The items Edna asks are completely random. When you take the ingredients she is asking to her on time, she'll get her potion, and you'll get a reward, that is usually 100-200nps and a spooky food item usually worth about 100nps, more if you are lucky. You can use shop wizard when doing her quests unlike with faerie quests.



	Something has happened... Congratulations! You are now eligible to use 'Edna - Cackle!' on the neoboards!	If you are really lucky, Edna will reward you with her avatar for bringing her the components that she needs.



	In the past, Ednas Quests was the only supply of spooky foods. However, more up to date, a Halloween Bruce has set up the Spooky Foods shop. Also, from playing certain games like, Test Your Strength, you can also be rewarded with spooky foods.

BATTLEDOME CHALLENGER

After you complete a quest with Edna, she will challenge you to a match in the battledome. She has a difficulty of 60.

I was reading a past Editorial and it said that Edna and the Island Mystic had been turned into Neopets. What did they look like before? ~bleudaisy

Heh, quite a bit different. Edna was a more classic-looking witch and the Island Mystic wore the same outfit, but neither were Neopets so it was just... odd. We're not sure exactly what they were, but they didn't fit in and therefore their art was changed to be more Neopian. :)
