What Is The Wheel Of Misfortune?
The Wheel of Misfortune is located in the Deserted Fairground. The cost to spin the wheel is 150 neopoints. You can spin the wheel once every two hours. And of course, you can only spin the wheel on your main account.

During the Save the Wheels site event in July, 2010, the Wheel of Misfortune was saved. The Wheel was redrawn from its old version and the prizes were revised. In this guide, you can see the various prizes available from the new Wheel of Misfortune.
   


Results From The Wheel Of Misfortune
There are 8 different spaces you can land on when spinning the wheel. Some are more common to get as a result than others. Below we've made an overview of all possible results.

	Gift You receive an evil plushie, can include Headless Von Roo Plushie, Quigquig Plushie, Scorcie Plushie, Usulbat Plushie, Space Blumfaerie Plushie, Sloth Faerie Plushie or Von Kougra Plushie. Curses! You've avoided misfortune... for now. Headless Von Roo Plushie
	Jowlard You get a random spooky petpet. Curses! You've avoided misfortune... for now Slymook
	Neopoints with wings You lose neopoints. Mwahaha, now you know why it's called the Wheel of Misfortune! Argh!!! You lost 300np
	Pile of sludge If you have a sludge turnable item in your inventory. An item from your inventory is turned into a pile of sludge. Mwahaha, now you know why it's called the Wheel of Misfortune! Egads! Your Spine Cone has been turned into a pile of sludge!   If you don't have any sludge turnable items in your inventory. Nothing happens. Not quite what you were expecting, was it? *cackle* Fortunately, you have no items to turn into sludge!
	Glowing book If your pet has never read a book Nothing happens. Not quite what you were expecting, was it? *cackle* If your pet had read a book, that spin would have caused it to be forgotten!   If your pet has read at least one book Your pet forgets a book it has read.   Not quite what you were expecting, was it? *cackle* Oh no! That spin has caused your pet to forget a book it has read! Thank you to mynci_jewel911 for submitting this result!
	Bag of Neopoints You win a small amount of neopoints. Curses! You've avoided misfortune... for now. 70 NP
	Pant Devil If you have items in your inventory. An item from your inventory is stolen by the Pant Devil. Mwahaha, now you know why it's called the Wheel of Misfortune! The Pant Devil appears and steals your Pale Elixir   If you don't have any items in your inventory. Nothing happens. Not quite what you were expecting, was it? *cackle* The Pant Devil cackles insanely, but you have no items to steal!

The Avatar
You can also get an avatar from the Wheel of Misfortune, if the wheel stops on the Pile of Sludge space.
 


Spinning Within Two Hours
You can only spin the wheel again 2 hours after you've last collected your prize. If you try to do so before that time has passed, the creepy shadow will tell you to come back later.

Skirmish Battles Wheel Boon
The ongoing Neopets event: Skirmish Battles, will award certain boons if your team wins. One of those is called Right Round Round Round. This boon allows you to spin each neopian wheel two times (Excitement, Extravagance, Knowledge, Mediocrity, Misfortune and Monotony) before having to wait the usual time to spin again. It is available from a win from Brute Squad, The Seekers, or randomly Awakened.
