Tiki Tack Tombola

What Is Tiki Tack Tombola?
Tombola, located on Mystery Island, is a daily where you draw a ticket and hope to win a prize! It's run by the Tiki Tack Man, who also runs the Tiki Tack Shop. In Tombola, there are only 21 different tickets you can get. Of the 21 tickets, only 4 tickets are actual winning tickets. The winning ticket numbers are 32, 52, 100, and 325.

Since this is a site feature that gives out neopoint rewards and prizes, you may not visit Tambola on your side accounts. For more information look at our side accounts guide.

Does the Tombola still give out fading bottled faeries, or does it give out the new ones? Thanks! ~superxwee123

It still gives out the old fading faeries. Random Events and games that give out the old faeries will continue to give them out until we have time to go through and update them all. They are retired from restocking in Kauvara's shop, though, and are now replaced with the weak bottled faeries.

Does donating Neopoints to Tombola do anything other than reopen the Tombola game faster? ~viola_hero

You donate Neopoints to that worthless layabout that gives you SAND from an ISLAND?

...

I suddenly have a brilliant new idea to fund my schemes.

I have a few Tombola Coins lying around that I realise were previously used when one was required in order to play Tombola. I was wondering if they had any use now, or if you planned to do anything with them in the future? Or are they just there to look pretty? :) ~teiiluj

They're just there to look pretty and be a collector's item. :)

I visit the tombola, but it gives out nothing! It only gives booby prizes rarely. - Kellc94.

Yup, that is the whole point of a Tombola. I am guessing you haven't been to a village fete, but most of the time you will not get anything other than a tin of mushy peas.

Edna fell into her cauldron and turned into a neopet, and so did the Island Mystic. Is this going to happen to the Tiki Tack Man? Please no! - Turtlekid04

No, the Tiki Man is quite safe, if he fell into the tombola he would just be covered with little pieces of paper.

Question #1,491, archived from Editorial Issue 89 · Published 2003-05-03

Why do you get Gross Food from the Tiki Tack Tombola?

You get a wide assortment of things from the Tombola, not just gross food, it all depends what the Tiki Tack man has bought for prizes.

What's the point of Tombola coins when you can't use them?

They are super rare collectors items from a time gone by. If you own a Tombola coin you have a little bit of Neopia's past.

Question #797, archived from Editorial Issue 52 · Published 2002-08-11

Where did you get the word for Tombola from? Is it from the italian language meaning bingo?

It most probably has latin origins, but the idea and name are based on the summer fetes Adam and I were dragged to when we were little. In fact quite a few of the more silly games on Neopets are based on games they have each year at these fairs.

In the News for January 12-13, you said times were hard for the Tika Tack tombola man and he was collecting donations. I know your not really gonna ask us to donate but does that mean that you are gonna shut it down?

No, it means that the poor Tiki Tack man REALLY is a bit down on his luck. He has been funding the Tombola out of his own pocket for a very long time. You do seriously have to give donations to help the poor guy out!

All donations are very much appreciated!
