How Do You Get A Faerie Quest?
A faerie quest is when one of the faeries requires a specific item from you. You are unable to use Shop Wizard and must turn the item in or abandon the quest to resume using the Shop Wizard. You can still use the Trading Post and Auctions, or you can buy the item at one of the Neopets shops. You are also allowed to use the Quest Board. Turning in a quest will give your active pet stat increases with the exception of the Fountain Faerie. If you complete a Fountain Faerie quest, she allows you to take a dip in the Rainbow Fountain which allows you to paint your pet. There are a couple ways to obtain a faerie quest.

Firstly, you can obtain a faerie quest through a Random Event.

Brilliant light blinds you. As it fades, a Light Faerie says, "Thank goodness you're here! Please find me ITEM NAME HERE, kind Neopian."

Secondly, you can obtain a daily faerie quest with the NC Mall item the Faerie Quest Fortune Cookie. To view all the information you need about this Fortune Cookie, please view its section in the Noda's Fortune Cookie guide.

Thirdly, when the Faerie Quest Event is active, once a day you are able to receive a random faerie quest. You can read more about this in our Faerie Quest Event Guide.

How Do You Complete A Faerie Quest?
As soon as you've obtained the item, you need to go bring it to the Faerie. There are four ways of going to the Faerie Quests page while you are on a quest. There is a link to it in Faerie City (Faerieland), one in the Guild Head Quarters, and one at Pet Central. Apart from that you will also get a link to the Faerie Quests page if you go to the Shop Wizard page while you are on a quest.

Is It Worth Completing A Faerie Quest?
It depends on whether you want to battle or have pets with great stats. If you don't care about any of that, then completing a quest is pretty much useless, because that's what you will get from most Faeries.

If you do want to battle, or just have pets with great looking stats, then it's a different story. The items Faeries ask for are mostly far cheaper than having to buy codestones or dubloons. Of course that's not always the case; you'd have to check whether the price you'd pay for the item the faerie wants is cheaper than the codestones/dubloons you'd have to buy to get the same result at the training school.

A very common misconception is people telling you that refusing to complete a quest will lead to you getting fewer quests. That is absolutely not true, you just have to wait until you're summoned again. Since the Faerie Quest Event there's no longer a penalty of 10 minutes after declining a Quest.
