When you visit the Neggery, you will run into Zaira. She is Negg Faerie's assistant and runs the Neggery while Kari is at the Festival of Neggs. Zaira will tell you the following:

A long-lost journal that I recently uncovered seems to have information about the existence of a very important, and potentially very powerful, ancient Negg. You should really give it a look...

If you click on 'give it a look...' you will be taken to the The Negg Faerie Assistant's Alcove. Here Zaira tells you she found an old journal. While the journal was old and really hard to follow, Zaira discovers that it seems that the author of the journal came upon some sort of uber-powerful Negg, which had to be kept from falling into the wrong hands. The author gathered up a team, each of whom took a different Negg to one of Neopia's lands, making the original Negg harder to track. After examining the text in the journal more, it seems like the journal's entries could hold clues about the location of this supposed super Negg. Zaira asks you to help uncover the truth about the negg by helping her investigate the journal. You can then click on the backpack to visit the journal.

The Journal begins with Entry 2, not to worry, you have not missed Entry 1. In entry 2 you can read about the beginning of the journey. You will also see a greyed out tab that says Solve puzzle. You can also pick up hints in entry 2 that this will probably be a logic puzzle. From this entry alone it looks like we might be trying to figure out 3 sections: which person, which negg, and to where. Our ultimate goal seems to be figure out who took the clockwork negg and to where.
