Festival of Neggs
What is the Festival of Neggs?Beginning March of 2010 (month of Running, Y12), Kari the Negg Faerie started hosting a daily activity called the Festival of Neggs. In April 2009, Rosie the Dancing Grarrl hosted the Springtime Celebration at the same time of year. The event included a daily gift and Negg Hunt, prizes were a mixture of neopoint and NC items. 2022 Festival of Neggs
The 2022 Festival of Neggs began on April 12th, 2022.
Each year, as winter draws to a close, the Festival of Neggs turns everyone's attention toward this most magnificent and versatile of all Neopian foods. Offering a bountiful array of Negg-inspired activities and treats, in just a few years this celebration has quickly become one of Neopia's most popular events.
This year the festival has moved and is in a new location: the new Neovian Campsite!
Bonus Prizes
At the end of the Negg Festival, extra prizes were handed out to everyone who participated in the event. Be sure to find Topsi back at the Rainbow Fountain, then return to the Campsite in order to collect your prizes.

Negg Hunt
Every day this year, you will be able to find missing Neggs based off a clue. In turn, Kari will offer you one of three neggs. Each negg has different prizes. There is a daily tracker for this event which increases by one each day you participate. If you missed a day of the event, you can go back to the links from the previous day(s) and collect your prize.

When visiting a location with Neggs, you will be given the choice of receiving a random prize from 3 of the 5 different neggs. Once chosen, the prize will automatically be added to your inventory.

In 2022, things have been shaken up once again.
"I was so elated when I heard the Festival of Neggs would be coming to Neovia that I decided to make ye a massive batch of Negg Pudding. But overnight, summat gobbled it all up and tracked dirt all over me kitchen!" -Crumpetmonger 
"Oh dear, well I do appreciate the thought! Perhaps you left a door open and a hungry Neopian took the opportunity to fill their belly?" - Kari the Negg Faerie
"I triple-checked all me doors and windows were locked tight! I tell ye, I was never the superstitious sort, but perhaps there's some truth to the rumours drifting through the Neovian fog..."
"Rumours?"
"There have been whispers... That a vengeful spirit 'as been wreaking havoc upon Neovia once the sun goes down. There have been all manners of strange sightings, and now Neovians like me are having their homes invaded and valuables stolen!"
"That does sound troubling... But are you sure it's really the work of a ghost?"
"I had me reservations as well, but these odd occurrences all started after a stranger was caught vandalizin' a Neovian crypt..."
"Nevertheless, I promised Tippens I would hold the Festival of Neggs in Neovia this year. And I am a faerie of my word after all!"
"Well best be careful bout it. Between all the haunting hearsay and that magsman Biggsby "revamping his business", I fear trouble has found its way to our little town once more."
"I appreciate your concern, but I'm sure everything will be just fine!"
"Aye you are probably right. I just worry is all, me dear. Especially after hearing what happened durin' last year's festival... by the by, how is poor ole Topsi doing?"
"Much better! He really wanted to help out this year, but Dr. Neggistential hasn't quite finished debugging him. He says that Dr. Sloth's code is rather complicated, but it shouldn't be much longer before Topsi is back to his old negg-loving self!"
"Oh, that is wonderful to hear. I'll have a special scone waiting for him! Assuming he can even eat that is... But enough of my prattling, it seems your first Negg Hunter has arrived!"
"Oh! I didn't even see you there. Welcome to this year's Festival! As you can see, we decided to try something a little different! We've set up our campsite in the courtyard of the old Meepit Oaks Sanitorium for the Psychologically Fragile. No need to worry though! The zomutts have all been cleared out and we even did some renovations like adding in those charming stained-glass windows! I couldn't bring myself to remove the overgrown vines though.
