Taking home the Altador Cup in Altador Cup II The infamous spread of "Shaye Fever" which has given Tandrak Shaye the biggest swarm of fangirls out of every team player put together! Either way, it keeps the fans coming to their games. Becoming victims of the alleged "Winner's Curse" in Altador Cup III after they took home the gold in Altador Cup II. (DC dropped to seventh place that year!) They are renown for being higher tier contenders in the tournament and typically as a powerhouse team. Team Darigan Citadel have a large fanbase. They are also viewed as a generally intimidating team to their rivals as they have the potential to bounce back. Layton Vickles' amazing leadership. Their speculative good relations with Team Faerieland. Their historically fuelled rivalry with Team Meridell. In ACV, Team Darigan Citadel managed to break out of their "winner's curse" shackles attained from ACII and became Top 4 powerhouses once more! Their speculative good relations with Team Shenkuu. In ACV they formed the "Krawk Citadel Alliance" with Team Krawk Island. (Neoboards) They finally broke the "Winner's Curse" upon them in style by reaching Rank III in ACV. Captain Layton Vickles outshone previously unrivalled champion of the Top Goal Scorers (Captain Mirsha Grelinek of Shenkuu) by taking first place in that.

In 2008 (ACIII) tensions between Team Roo Island and Darigan Citadel were at an all-time high, as they were both top contenders for the Finals round and they had a previous heated rivalry.
