Faerie Quests
How do you get a Faerie Quest?
Faerie Quests are quests given to you by one of the Faeries in a random event. If they decide to give you a quest they will ask you to bring them an item that they appear to have lost. If you decide to bring the faerie the item they've asked for, they will reward one of your pets, which pet gets the reward is random.
There are also Faerie Quests that don't come to you in random events; those will be discussed at the bottom of this page.
How do you complete a Faerie Quest?
While you are on a quest you are eliminated from using the Shop Wizard Which means the easiest way to find an item has been taken away from you, to make it harder to find the item. But it still leaves various other options to get the item open. You can still use the Trading Post and Auctions, or you can buy the item at one of the neopets stores such as Uni's Clothing. And what's stopping you from asking someone else to find the item for you? Nothing! You can ask one of your neofriends, ask at your guild, or use the Quests Neoboard. These people can use their Shop Wizard to lookup where you can get the item you need for the lowest price.
As soon as you've bought the item, you need to go bring it to the Faerie. There are four ways of going to the Faerie Quests page while you are on a quest. There is a link to it in Faerie City (Faerieland), one in the Guild Head Quarters, and one at Pet Central. Apart from that you will also get a link to the Faerie Quests page if you go to the Shop Wizard page while you are on a quest.
Is it worth it to complete a Faerie Quest?
Well firstly it depends on whether you want to battle or have pets with great stats. If you don't care about any of that, then completing a quest is pretty much useless, because that's what you will get from most Faeries, better stats.
If you do want to battle, or just have pets with great looking stats, then it's a different story. The items Faeries ask for are mostly far cheaper than having to buy codestones or dubloons. Of course that's not always the case; you'd have to check whether the price you'd pay for the item the faerie wants is cheaper than the codestones/dubloons you'd have to buy to get the same result at the training school.
Then there's also the Earth Faerie, her rewards aren't better stats, she will heal one of your pets, feed it and make it heavier. Basically, it's the same thing as going to the healing springs and the Giant Omelette. It's fairly useless to waste your money on one of her quests.
A very common misconception is people telling you that refusing to complete a quest will lead to you getting fewer quests. That is absolutely not true. Refusing a quest will mean that you will not get any quests for 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes you should go back to the quest page, and Fyora will say
'Hmmm, ok, you can do another quest now I guess...!'
This will mean that your 10 minutes of suspension are over, if you refresh the page after that Fyora will say:
'You don't have a quest!!! You must wait for us to give you one!'
After that everything will be back to normal, and you will get just as many quests as you did before you refused the quest.

Other Faerie Quests
There are also three other Faeries who give you quests. However, unlike all of the Faeries above, these quests don't come to you in random events. In order to get one of these quests, you must go to the Faerie and ask her for a quest. In return these faeries give you an item rather than stats. And a pro on these quests, is that you can use the Shop Wizard to help you find the item.
The Snow Faerie: The Snow Faerie lives on Terror Mountain. In her quests, she will ask you for 2-4 items, these can be cheap, or VERY expensive. Her award is a snowball, 1000-2500nps and a random item. This item can either be good or bad, you never know. The first time you complete one of her quests you will also receive an avatar.
As for completing her quests, it's advisable not to do quests over 2/3k, because you might not get as much back in reward. If you don't do the expensive quests, then you'll be most likely to end up with some nice profit. Don't worry about not completing her quest, there are no consequences.

Illusen: Illusen lives in Meridell. She has a total of 50 quests to offer you. In the beginning she will ask you for cheap, easy to get items. However, the further you move up in level, the more expensive items she'll want. If you choose to do a quest you have 16 minutes to complete it. If you fail, you will go back to level 1, and you'll have to start over again.
Illusen always gives out the same rewards on the same levels. If you want to see a list of the possible rewards, click on the link below.
