Moltara’s first Altador Cup appearance at last year’s tournament didn’t go so well. In fact, they finished dead last and took a pummeling in the Consolation Bracket from Altador. If there’s a silver lining to Moltara’s showing, it’s the ten Make Some Noise victories they tallied (more wins than their totals for Slushie Slinger, Shootout Showdown, and Yooyuball combined). This Team Is Most Memorable For...
First joining the tournament in Altador Cup V after Moltara's discovery.
In their debut year (2010) they failed to meet expectations and became an underdog team.
Fans nicknamed their players: Team Captain (Aldric Beign) as "Pecs", Tulah Kisner as "Ylana" (named after mercenary Ylana Skyfire, a Neopian villainess), Vere Polnicek as "Quads", Zax Bannet as "Biceps" and Mor Gollog as "Abs".
In ACV Team Moltara were steadfast in 18th Place for the entire tournament from start to finish.
Unfortunately Team Moltara were unable to rise out of 18th in Altador Cup VI, but they did put up a better fight! Their surprise (and excellent) win in Yooyuball over Team Krawk Island in the Second Round was history in itself.
