Notorious for "dirty play". Being the underdogs. Known for "Squeaky" Tressif's good sportsmanship. They have a small fanbase. Recognised for their liking of toast (Neoboards). Their historically fuelled rivalry with Team Meridell (monarch sibling rivalry). They are lower tier contenders but with a will to improve. Their loss to Faerieland in ACIII. Not participating in ACIV because of King Hagan's intervention. In Altador Cup V they had one of the strongest starts to the tournament, making them potential powerhouses. The Altador Cup Committee cautioned Brightvale for "cheating" in Yooyuball in ACV. In the Second Round Robin the team's dominant reign fizzed out to become the underdogs again. ACV is the first time that Team Brightvale managed to get into the Top Goal Scorers list.

Whilst Tressif tried to play fair, his other teammates decided to play Yooyuball their own way.

In Altador Cup IV, King Hagan of Brightvale announced (in effect) that his kingdom's reputable scholars were slacking due to their keen support of their Yooyuball squad. For this reason he removed Team Brightvale from the tournament. Most people believe it was down to poor performances though.
