It's that time of year when the Faeries come together to celebrate the annual Faerie Festival. In 2026, the Faerie Festival began September 15th and ends on September 28th.
This year, Luxinia and Iridesia is running the festival. As usual, the festivities include Faerie Quests, donation of excess items, and visiting Faerie-related dailies such as the Wheel of Excitement, TDMBGPOP and Soup Kitchen. In addition, there's now a ballot to vote for the new Faerie Council after donating at least 150 points worth of items.
Faerie Quests
Traditionally, Faerie Quests are one of the main activities of the Faerie Festival. In the past, all Faeries participated in giving and receiving Faerie Quests to Neopians to help up their pets' stats or given the opportunity to paint their pets in the Faerie Fountain.
This year, many Faeries are participating in the festival: Fire Faeries, Water Faeries, Light Faeries, Earth Faeries, Dark Faeries, Aethia the Battle Faerie, Iridesia the Rainbow Faerie, Naia the Fountain Faerie, and Sabrena the Tooth Faerie.
There will also be an opportunity to complete a bonus Faerie Quest with Luxinia. All of her quests are completing tasks from the mobile game, Neopets: Faerie Fragments.

Luxinia and Iridesia are both working hard preparing for the Faerie Festival this year. After the year Neopia has been through with the Grey Curse and Void, both Faeries are excited to give back. It goes without saying that for the first time in many years, Fyora (self-dethroned) will not oversee the festivities. She does, however, ask for Luxinia and Iridesia to collaborate and vote on a Faerie Council with the help of Neopia.

That is, we're electing the members of the first-ever Faerie Council! If you reach a certain amount of donations in a day, we'll hand out a daily ballot that you can use to vote for one of the council candidates.

Speaking of the candidates, they've all gathered here for the festival. You should speak with them; I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you what they plan to do to help Faerieland, given the opportunity.

There are a total of six open seats on the Faerie Council, and you'll be able to earn one ballot per day, for a total of 13 votes. The six Faeries with the most votes will win a seat!

Just how donating works! Every day, you can come visit us here at the Faerie Festival to drop off your unwanted items. We'll take up to 30 donations each day, and each donation is worth points that you can spend at the Prize Shop.

That's right, and the rarer the item, the more points it will earn you. Donating 30 items in one day will also earn you a special prize, and you can earn that prize every day you donate the maximum amount of items.

Recycling
Just like last year, the faeries use the Faerie Festival as a way to help clean up Neopia with a recycling program. You are able to recycle any items in your inventory. Points are earned for each item that you donate. Each item's rarity correlates to specific amount of points that can be earned. Points are cumulative and can be used to collect prizes. There is a limit of 300 points per day. Once the limit is reached, you cannot donate any more items for that day. This is different compared to previous years restricting you to only 10 items per day.

When you donate items, you can select up to 30 items at a time. A coloured outline will appear around the item, indicating the item you've selected to donate. If what you've selected puts you above 300 points, a blurb will appear to give warning that any extra points will not count for the day. The top-left circle has a number, indicating the amount of points you'll earn for donating that item. You will be prompted to confirm your donation choices.

Once you've reached the daily point limit, you will receive a Faerie Donation Capsule. Opening the capsule will reward you with one item with rarities between r90 to r99. Premium Subscribers will also be given an extra prize.
Premium Bonus Items
Premium Subscribers receive a bonus item, once per day, when they donate. It is given during their first daily donation.

Faerie Council - Voting
As a continuation from The Void Within plot, Fyora enters self-dethroned and asked Iridesia and Luxinia to form a Faerie Council to lead Faerieland in her stead. The Faerie Council will be made up of six Faeries.
By donating at least 150 points each day, you can earn a ballot to vote for a Faerie to join the Faerie Council.
A pop-up will appear to state that you have a ballot and are able to vote for a Faerie for the Faerie Council.
Ballots do not appear in your inventory. You will just proceed to voting where you will find 15 Faeries nominated.
A list of nominees that players can vote for on the ballot for the Faerie Council.
Once voted, you'll be able to see the trajectory of what Faerie's have a higher or lower vote. This will change daily.
Nominated Faerie standings can be seen after voting.
Faerie Festival Prizes
All points earned each day are cumulative. You can spend your points earned from donating items on prizes. Note: All item prices listed are rough estimates, and many item prices will decrease (or increase) during the festival.
Final Prizes
Below are a list of prizes that were awarded at the end of the entire Faerie Festival event. While all prizes are the same, to obtain them is determinate on what you've participated in during the Faerie Festival.
