NC Mall Stocking Stufftacular
First launched in December, 2009, Neopets has a NC Mall winter activity called Stocking Stufftacular. Buy your ticket and hang your stocking(s), and you'll get some fun items!
How do I participate?
Buy tickets at the NC Mall. There are a total of 25 stockings for the year. You can apply up to 5 stockings on each day (according to the FAQ) from the morning of December 8 until the morning of January 1. You can purchase tickets in different amounts, but the more stockings in your pack, the sooner you need to purchase your ticket! You may also participate in Stocking Stufftacular on side accounts. For more information, see the FAQ below.
NOTE The NC Mall this year has the sale dates different. IE: the 10-pack sale end date states Dec 30th. However, you must hang the stocking before the day to get that prize. So if you buy the 10-pack on the 30th, there aren't 10 days worth of prizes left.

How do I hang my stockings?
After purchasing your ticket at the NC Mall, go to your inventory and activate your ticket. Then visit the Stocking Stufftacular page to hang your stockings. You can choose where on the page to hang each stocking.
If you hang your stocking(s) before 11:59 PM NST, they should be filled by 5:00 AM NST the following morning. The first stockings will be filled between 11:59 PM NST on December 7 and 5:00 AM NST on December 8 of each year. This activity ends at 11:59 PM NST on December 31 of each year. Stocking tickets purchased during the year must be used during the current year; they will not work in future years.
What is in the stockings?
That's the surprise, isn't it? The contents are described as "exclusive NC item prizes", so we expect they will not be items that are regularly available for sale in the NC Mall. See the table below for stocking contents discovered so far.

Stuff a Stocking Community Challenge
New for 2011 is the Stuff a Stocking Community Challenge. This is a challenge to hang as many stockings as possible. you can participate in this community challenge by hanging at least one stocking during the whole Stocking Stufftacular event. If the max goal of hung stockings, Full of Cheer, is reached by the end of the event, at December 31st, everyone who has hung a stocking will get a bonus NC prize. This prize is the same for everyone and you will receive it once the event is over, on January 3, 2012.
