This is the MIA, the Missing Item Archive, a directory of all missing items and item glitches/errors currently known in Neopia. Feel free to browse around to gain some information about those weird things happening to you around the site.

Terminology
The following abbreviations, definitions and terminology will be used in this directory. These terms are commonly used in the item community on neopets.

I'm Announced, but Unobtainable!

Obtainable and Unobtainable Obtainable: The item can be found on Neopets. You can obtain it through regular means such as neopian shops, Shop Wizard or Trading Post, or in case of a non-tradable item you may be able to get it as a plot prize, for example. Unobtainable: You cannot get this item through any means. It is possible some people own this item, because they have obtained it through a glitch or error. It is not possible to get this item at the moment, even though it may have been posted on the news. Released/Announced and Unreleased/Unannounced Released/Announced: A released or announced item was announced in the Neopets news. Unreleased/Unannounced: An unreleased or unannounced item wasn't announced in the Neopets news. Searchable and Unsearchable Searchable: You are able to look this item up with the Shop Wizard, who will recognise your search query as being an actual item. Sometimes TNT forgets to activate the items, so they are not obtainable through regular means such as neopian shops or receivable from events/plots. Unsearchable: The Shop Wizard will not recognize your search query as being an actual item. This happens when the item has not been activated or when you don't know the proper name of the item.

How to Browse
There are various ways to browse this database, as there are a lot of different categories of glitches, errors and mistakes. Below is an overview of the different the different ways you can find what you're looking for.

Searching by Date With this selection, you can search the database by date. The items are categorised by year, unknown (when an item may/should have been in the Neopets News but we do not know the date) and unannounced (when an item was never in the Neopets News). Searching by MIA Category There are many different types of item glitches, errors and mistakes, so they have been categorised.

Active: Duplicate item: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they have a practically identical clone (either image or item name, or both) already in the game. Active: Glitched: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they are glitched in some way (e.g. do not show up in your closet/neohome, or mess up your customisation). Active: Wrong information: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but parts of the information are incorrect (usually the item name or description has a typo in it). Searchable: MIA: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game. Searchable: Unannounced: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items. Unsearchable: MIA: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game as they were announced in the news. Unsearchable: Unannounced: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were also never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items.

We believe some were fixed because of this archive. Displaying the Results The results can be displayed in two orders: By date, or by name. 	Name: Golden Spinacles Background Date: March 31st, 2011 Date Fixed: February 1st, 2012 MIA Category: Active: Glitched Author Notes: This wearable was given out by the Daily Dare 2011, but it glitched up your whole customisation if you try to put it on your Neopet from your closet. When you do try, it's also not visible on the Neopet. In March 2012 it was reported to have been fixed!
	Name: Magical Carrot Chia Pop Date: September 1st, 2004 Date Fixed: December 21st, 2011 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This presumably r99 Magical Chia Pop hasn't surfaced after 7 years, even though all the chia pops released around it have been found in abundance. It might have the wrong rarity.
	Name: Electric Kougra Plushie Date: Unannounced Date Fixed: December 8th, 2011 MIA Category: Unsearchable: Unannounced Author Notes: This item was never announced in the news, but the image was available on the Neopets servers. Update December 8th, 2011: The old images (toy_acara_electric.gif and toy_kougra_electric.gif) were renamed to their plushie variants and released through the news!
	Name: Overripe Cheese Date: Unknown Date Fixed: December 8th, 2011 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This cheese is supposed to be available from Cheeseroller, but sadly it isnt purchasable at all.
	Name: Stinky Zebie Cheese Date: Unknown Date Fixed: December 8th, 2011 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This cheese is supposed to be available from Cheeseroller, but sadly it isnt purchasable at all.

	Name: Trumpet Date: June 30th, 2004 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information NT Editorial: #7437 - #7773 - #7789 - #8573 - #9822 Author Notes: The Trumpet was supposed to change to an Instrument when the Music Shop opened, together with the other three items activated on this day, but the Trumpet was forgotten, for some reason.
	Name: Blue Acara Slingshot Date: June 28th, 2004 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information NT Editorial: #7437 Author Notes: This battle magic item was supposed to activated together with the other two items it was released with, and even though the Full Acara Armour started glitched and was fixed later on, this got left behind and still hasn't been repaired. It's assumed to have an incorrect rarity.
	Name: Sharky Skateboard Alt Name: Broken Sharky Skateboard Date: February 24th, 2006 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: As with all other Toys that have a Broken Toy version available, the regular Toy is supposed to restock and when you play with it and it breaks, it turns into a rarity 101 Broken Toy. In this case, however, the Broken Toy version is the "restockable" one -keep in mind, Broken Toy does not have a shop, so it does not restock anywhere- with rarity 75 and the "fixed" version is r101 and therefore does not restock. 	Name: The Hikalakas Ticket Alt Name: The Hikalakas Bottles of Sand Date: April 23rd, 2004 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: Originally, The Hikalakas Ticket was meant to be the ticket that would be purchased and grant you access to The Hikalakas concert. Something went wrong, and instead of the ticket, the Bottles of Sand became the item you purchase to gain access, rendering the actual ticket useless. 	Name: Deluxe Elephante Cake Date: January 17th, 2006 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This Deluxe Elephante Cake was supposed to be activated together with the other three Elephante foods given out this day, but it's nowhere to be found. It presumably has the wrong rarity.
	Name: Remote Control Virtupets Snowball Date: December 9th, 2009 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This was supposed to restock in the Ice Crystal Shop, but instead, it restocked in Battle Magic.
	Name: Fern Salad Date: May 12th, 2009 Date Fixed: June 27th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This was supposed to restock in Tyrannian Food, but instead, it restocked in the Food shop.

	Name: Blooming Ivy Easter Negg Date: April 7th, 2007 Date Fixed: June 13th, 2011 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This easter negg was supposed to be given out by the easter bunny random event, but it was never added, so it is unfindable. This set of neggs might be bigger than just these two, but only these two were shown in the news. Update: They can be found in Spring Gift Baskets, albeit VERY rarely!
