What Are Snow Faerie Quests?
Snow Faerie Quests are located on Top of the Mountain in Terror Mountain. The quests are run by Taelia the Snow Faerie who needs your help to complete a spell she is working on. Unlike regular Faerie Quests, you may come visit her whenever you'd like and choose whether you'd like to help her out or not.
 

 


How To Start A Snow Faerie Quest:
To accept a Snow Faerie Quest, you have to click on the "I will help you!" button.

 

The Snow Faerie's Quest Taelia needs some items in order to complete a spell she is working on... and its FREEZING outside! If you want to venture outside into the snow and find her the items she will reward you most generously. Go on, you know you want to help me? :) Pretty please?

After clicking on the "I will help you!" button, you will be taken to a new page where she will ask for 2-4 items. She will also allow you to bring the items back to her between 1-2 hours.

Once you receive your quest, you can now go and find the ingredients. She will always ask for food items, so you can check your Safety Deposit Box first. If you do not have any of the items needed in your SDB, you can try the Shop Wizard, or if you're on premium, the Super Shop Wizard. Before buying the items and handing them in, its important to determine if completing the quest is worth the amount of neopoints it costs.


Are Snow Faerie Quests Worth It?
The items she asks for can be fairly cheap, but she may ask for some very expensive ones. Which items she asks for is random. If the items she is asking for are very expensive, it may not be worth it. A good way to see if the items are expensive or not is to search for each item in the Shop Wizard before buying them. That way, if you add all the item prices up together, you will see how much the total price will cost.

The best way to ensure that your quest will turn a profit is if you spend between 2,000 to 3,000 neopoints in total on the quest. This way you will have a greater chance to gain more of a reward. If you feel like taking a risk on the quests, then you can spend as much as you'd like. You never know, you may end up making a lot of profit from a more expensive quest! As reward prizes are also random, you could end up with an expensive item. In the table below you can see the neopoint reward will be between 1,000 and 2,500 neopoints. If you decide not to spend more than 3,000 neopoints, you will rarely lose money on quests.


Snow Faerie Quest Prizes
After you have completed a Snow Faerie Quest, you will be rewarded with one of each of the following prizes. Which item, snowball or amount of neopoints you get is random.

Completing A Snow Faerie Quest
To successfully complete a Snow Faerie Quest, you must obtain all the ingredients requested before your deadline runs out. After you found all ingredients you were looking for, you will have to return to the main Snow Faerie Quest Page. Here you can also view the ingredients she still needs and your time left.

Once you collected the ingredients, you can click on the "I have your ingredients!" button. You will then be taken to a page that shows you have given her all the items she asked for, and shows you your reward:

Failing A Snow Faerie Quest
If you fail to complete your quest, you will not be able to get the items you have already given to Taelia back. That's why it is advised to bring her all the items she's asked for at once. Aside from losing the items you already handed over, there are no consequences for an incomplete quest, you can always attempt another quest later.

 

The Snow Faerie's Quest The spell wore off ages ago, these items are useless to me now! You have failed to complete the Taelia's Quest... if you return she *MAY* give you another chance!

Taelia Battledome Challenger

Snow Faerie Quest History
Snow Faerie Quests were released on January 7th, 2001. The original map from the Top of the Mountain used to be different than it is now. In fact, the map has been changed 3 times since its original release. Although the map has changed, Snow Faerie Quests have always been located on Top of the Mountain. When Snow Faerie Quests were first released, some of the original prizes included Draik Morphing Potions, Scorchstones, and Battle Ducks. Eventually, TNT decided to stop giving these items out as prizes because if many people obtained these items, it could quickly unbalance the Neopian economy by making these items very common.
