When you're updating your userlookup or changing passwords, you might get this message:

Error: We cannot update your personal information

Here are a few things which you can do to fix it:

• Log out and back into your account
• Change browsers
• Clear cookies and cache and restart your browser. You now also have to log back into your account
• Change the country to match the one which was defaulted when you accepted the new T&C.

If this still doesn't work, just send in a ticket.

All glitches have been fixed. Thanks to all who neomailed me about it :)

Neopets is currently experiencing some glitches.
So far the glitches are:

• Items: You can't do anything, since the pop-up menu is gone.
• Pet lookups: They're gone, but the coding is still there though, so no worries.
• Search engine: Searches show up blank.
• Petpets: You can't rename or play with them.
• Petpet Lab Ray: you can't zap petpets right now (thanks to the__ice__king for giving us this info).
• NC Mall: You can't add more than 3 MME8 in your shopping cart (thanks to blue_delight for giving us this info).
• Symol Hole: Can't be visited (thanks to artist_at_work111 for giving us this info).
• Petpet Battledome: Can't be visited (thanks to lavender_peace for giving us this info).
• Turmaculus: Can't be visited (thanks to lavender_peace for giving us this info).
• Petpet Pool: Can't be visited (thanks to alienigenosidad for giving us this info).

I think it's safe to say that everything remotely involving Petpets is glitched. So what did those Meepits do this time?


You can still use quick stock to move items.

When your Neopet is hungry, you can feed them at Movie Central, Soup Kitchen or via the Neolodge.

MME8:Shining Icy Dreamscape Background can now be bought in the NC Mall. It'll cost you 700 NC. 
We've updated our MME guide with all the info about this new MME, including previews and animated previews.

A new unreleased Ink Dropper for the P3 Habitarium has been discovered!
You can find out more about the Habitarium in our P3 Habitarium Guide.

The marquee of the upcoming MME has been found. TNT will release NC Mall items on a daily base, even though their are not at office, so it looks like this MME will be released in the NC Mall very soon! 
The name of this MME will be 'MME8-S1: Shining Icy Dreamscape Background'.

It seems that Faerieland has gotten a makeover!

Lying in a crater on the surface of Neopia sits a colossal mass of rock, stretching tens of miles in every direction. Resting atop that rock is a vast, recovering city that has been home to the faeries of Neopia for as long as anybody can remember... Faerieland!

Also, you can now resume all Faerie related activities!

Update: Chapter 17 has been released! This will be the final chapter of the Faerie's Ruin plot. We have update our guide.   Puzzle steps for the plot will be open until the end of the day on Dec 31, then the steps will be closed so TNT can start to calculate prize points.  Thank you 1992jk1995 for informing us!

In the Neopian News that's sent out to regular email addresses, there's a section on the Faeries' Ruin plot:

Our favourite thief, Hanso, has bravely sacrificed himself to put a stop to the evil Xandra. Was the spell broken? Are the faeries freed? What about the other heroes? Find out in the final chapter of... The Faeries' Ruin!

Sounds like the plot will be ending with the release of the next chapter.

TNT is planning to have their offices closed for the week of Dec 27 to 31, so maybe we'll be lucky and the plot chapter will be released before their break!  In the meantime, check out our Faeries' Ruin Plot Guide.

The next Mystery Capsule might be a New Years Mystery Capsule according to this image sent by the NC Mall news. All the other Mystery Caps have been released.

This year, all you Krawk owners will be able to get your Krawk in the holiday spirit, since Christmas Krawks will be released. 
So far, no image of an actual Christmas Krawk has been been found, but we do have some images of the paintbrush clothing to share.

This might help you reaching your Gift of Neocash goals a bit sooner...

There seems to be Super Gift Boxes in the new Gift Box Mystery Capsule. This info can be found under FAQ at the Help section:

What is a Super Gift Box? A Super Gift Box is a new type of NC Mall Gift Box. With this Super Gift Box you are able to send a Neofriend 4 NC items at once!   How can I get a Super Gift Box? There is a chance of getting Super Gift Boxes in special edition Gift Box Mystery Capsules. How does the Super Gift Box work? The Super Gift Boxes work the same way that regular Gift Boxes do now. Once in your inventory, choose 4 NC items from your inventory along with a Neofriend to send to. Can I put less than 4 NC items in a Super Gift Box? No. You must include 4 items in the Super Gift Box before sending to a Neofriend. If the Super Gift Box receiver doesn't accept the items, will the sender get the Super Gift Box and items back? Yes. Just like regular Gift Boxes, the user must accept all 4 items. If the Super Gift Box and items aren't accepted, all will be sent back to the sender.

Item Event Log
The Item Event Log has been down since yesterday and will remain down while TNT adds the new Gift Box Mystery Capsule (perhaps the one we mentioned last week). This means all items you gift to your neofriends via the drop down menu or via Gift Boxes, can't be accepted. So keep this in mind when you want to gift items or trade.
UPDATE: The Item Event Log is now working again!

Alert! - For the next day or so NC Gifting will be down for maintenance while we add a new Gift Box Mystery Capsule. This means you will not be able to gift NC items to a Neofriend or receive NC item gifts from a Neofriend. But don't fret, we will be back up and gifting soon!

Theres currently a glitch going on where for many people their Neocash disappears upon visiting the NC Mall. If this has happened to you, you can Submit a Ticket at the Help page. Hopefully the situation will be resolved soon.


Edit: TNT is currently working on this glitch. This is posted on the The Official Neopets Team Message Board :

As you may be aware, there's a *tiny* bug in the NC Mall at the moment that's setting some shoppers' NC balances to 0. Okay, that probably doesn't sound so tiny, but we promise it is. It's just a display issue that's tricking the Mall into thinking you have a balance of 0 when, really, your Neocash is safe and sound. Don't panic! We're working as quickly as we can to fix it, and your balance and purchasing functionality will be restored automatically once the bug is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience (and the scare)! - The Neopets Panic Avoidance Team

The stocking stufftacular tickets have gone on sale in the NC mall! Everything is the same/price as last year, except this year they allow you to apply up to 5 stockings on the same day so you can get multiples of the same day. However you still have to apply the stockings before midnight NST in order to get the item the following day, so you still don't know what you will get until after you have applied it. So use caution when applying more than one stocking to the same day, you could end up with 5 Festive Berry Pie's! We know all of you have been waiting anxiously for a plot update! We're finishing up chapter 14's art, so you can expect it on Friday. Until then, here's a little teaser. Thanks for your patience, everybody!
