Lovestruck Arrows FAQ

All frequently asked questions (FAQ) can either be found here or written out below. The FAQ is updated as of 2026.

What is the Lovestruck event?
The Lovestruck event is an NC event hosted by Valerie the Faellie. Neopians can come buy arrows for her to shoot to help with her target practice. She'll give you lovely NC prizes for your help.

How does the Lovestruck event work?
You'll need to buy Arrow Packs in order to participate. You can get them from the event page or the NC Mall. Once you've activated your packs, you can choose an arrow for Valerie to fire. Each arrow is guaranteed to grant you a prize.

Are the prizes from each arrow fixed?
Yes, each arrow has its own fixed prize.

Will I get the same prize twice?
No, each arrow has a different prize. But if you want more of a certain prize, you can purchase more Arrow Packs to have Valerie fire the same arrow it came from.

I only see a few arrows to choose from. Will there be more options later on?
There are nine arrows total. Arrow options unlock gradually over the course of the event. Only the leftmost arrow is available on Day 1, and new arrows unlock from left to right each day. By the final day, all nine arrows will be available to use. Check back daily to access new arrows!

How long will the Lovestruck event be available?
The Lovestruck event begins on February 9th 2026, and arrow packs will be available in the NC Mall until February 17th 2026, 23:59:59 NST. However, you can come back to help Valerie practice her archery until the next Lovestruck event!

Where do I purchase the arrows?
You can purchase arrows from either the Lovestruck event page or the NC Mall. If the 1 and 9 Arrow Packs are purchased from the event page, they will be activated automatically. However, Arrow Packs purchased through the NC Mall and the 18 Arrow superpack will need to be activated from your inventory.

Can I participate in the Lovestruck event on my side accounts?
Yes, you can participate in the Lovestruck event and win prizes on your side accounts.

How do I activate my arrows?
Visit your inventory to activate your Arrow Packs. Once there, click on your Arrow Packs and select Activate Pack. After you activate your Pack, visit the Lovestruck event page to choose an arrow.

Will I receive a bonus item for participating in the Lovestruck event?
Yes! There is a bonus prize for participating in the Lovestruck event. Buy arrows to collect all 9 unique prizes and then a 10th bonus prize will be granted to you! The bonus item is granted each time you buy all 9 unique arrows.

Are there Premium Perks for the Lovestruck event?
Yes, Premium players will be granted a retired NC item with each arrow they fire.

Is the retired NC item from the Premium Perk fixed?
Yes, each arrow has their own fixed retired NC item.

Can I collect multiple retired NC items if I reshoot the same arrows?
Yes, as long as you are subscribed to Premium, you will be able to obtain a retired NC item for each arrow you fire even if you've fired it once already.

Does the bonus item come with a retired NC item for Premium players?
Yes, the bonus item comes with a retired NC item for Premium players.

If I subscribe to Premium after Valerie shoots some arrows, will I be granted their retired NC items?
No, you will only receive retired NC items from the arrows you choose for Valerie to fire while being a Premium Member. If your Premium Membership activates after you've used an arrow, you'll need to reshoot the arrow again to receive your Premium retired NC item. Make sure you're Premium before the start of the event to get the most out of each shot!
