Crafting Faerie Quest

Crafting Faerie Quests are a new kind of quest that involve NC Mall items. In this quest, Delina, the Crafting Faerie, will be asking for your help in retrieving NeoCash items. Once turned in, Delina will award you with exclusive NC item prizes! Will you be lucky enough to get a Crafting Faerie Quest?



Delina is not your ordinary Dark Faerie. She'd rather be crafting than casting spells, and she loves to collect interesting stuff from the NC Mall for her stash. Who knows when those odds and ends will come in handy? Delina does! She'll happily give you her latest creation if you help her out.

Delina was first introduced on February 7th 2011 during the Faerie Quest event. You can read more about this event on our Faerie Quest Event guide.


How do Crafting Faerie Quests work?
A Crafting Faerie Quest is just like any other Faerie Quest, but instead of asking for neopoint items, Deline will ask you for any two Neocash items.

You will need to buy the crafting materials Delina's been asking for from the NC Mall.

Where can I buy these items?
Once you received the Crafting Quest, the Faerie Quests shop at the NC Mall will become available to you. This is a special part of the NC Mall where you can buy the items needed for Deline's quests.



You can also find the needed items through the NC Mall's search option. If you search for 'silk', both 'Silk Flowers' and 'Spools of Silk Thread' will show up.

Bonus Crafting Faerie Quests
During September 2012 and repeated in 2013 a small event, the bonus Crafting Faerie Quests were launched.

Delina is busy in her workshop, getting all the new items ready. If you wanted to do a bonus Crafting Faerie Quests, you could check in to see whether she was there or not. If you actually found her in her workshop, she would give you a bonus quest.



You could only get a bonus quest once a day. Besides getting a bonus quest, it is still possible to get a regular Crafting Faerie quest as a random event as well, even if you already completed a bonus quest.


What prizes can I receive?
It depends on the Quest items she asks. Below you can see the known combinations for each item.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Faerie Quest event about?
This year, The Faerie Quests event is about helping the faeries overcome the fiendish Mister Krawley. The mysterious salesman has set up shop outside Faerieland and he's convinced many to purchase his cursed wares. Fyora has called upon brave Neopians to aid her and her sisters before the effects become permanent.
Will you answer that call?

2. How long does the event last?
The event begins on March 5th (begin of day) and will end at end of day March 22nd. After the event is over, regular faerie quests will resume via Random Events, so keep an eye out for those fluttering wings!

3. Can I choose which kind of faerie quest I go on?
You never know which faerie would require your help at that moment as the faerie quests are given out randomly. However, this year each faerie needs help with a unique problem caused by Mister Krawley. On the NC end, Delina will again have a bonus quest for you each day requiring a pair of crafting materials from which she will form half a dozen unique gifts.

4. Can I cancel a quest once I am on it?
Yes, you can choose to abandon a quest at any time. However, if you decide to abandon a quest, you will not have the opportunity to replace it with another quest. You'll need to wait until the following day for another quest to be offered to you (and miss out on a final prize offered for helping out each day). If you abandon a quest on the final day of the event, you will not have the opportunity to complete a quest until a quest is randomly offered to you through a regular Random Event.

5. If I cancel a quest, is there a penalty?
Nope! You're free to abandon a quest if you like. However, you won't be able to accept another quest until tomorrow if you abort today's quest.

6. How many Faerie Quests can I receive in one day?
Every day during the event, when you visit the Faerie Quest page, you can receive a random Faerie Quest. You can choose to complete or abandon this quest. Upon completing or abandoning the quest for that day, you will be given the option to complete a Delina quest. You can choose to complete or abandon this quest as well. If you have a Faerie Quest Fortune Cookie, you can also receive that quest.
So, for each day, you can receive up to three Faerie Quests during the event.

7. Can I use the Shop Wizard when I am on a faerie quest during the event?
No, the Shop Wizard will still be unavailable to you while you are on a faerie quest unless you are on a quest for the Crafting Faerie, in which case you would need to visit the NC Mall.

8. Can I choose which Neopet receives the reward from the faerie quest?
The reward for completing a quest will be applied to your active Neopet.

9. Do I have to complete a quest every day?
Nope. You're given the option of completing a quest every day, but you don't have to; you will still get a gift for visiting the page each day, and there is an additional prize for completing the np quest each day of the event.

10. Can I participate in the event on my side account(s)?
For the event, I'm afraid, no.
Since regular faerie quests are given out in Random Events, you may participate in those on your side account(s) if you happen to receive one, so long as you earned the NP for the requested item on your main account. (Remember, earning NP or items on side accounts isn't allowed.)

However, since the faerie quest event -- where you receive a "free" faerie quest every day -- gives out extra daily rewards, it is treated like any other event or daily and you may only participate on your main account.

11. Do I have to complete a quest in order to receive a prize?
You receive a gift each day just by visiting the page. No questing needed! That's how nice the Faerie Queen is. ;) However, the faeries will also reward you for completing their quests, so you might consider helping out.
