What is the Brain Tree?

Located deep into the Haunted Woods, the Brain Tree is waiting for you to complete his quests. This tree, unlike any other, has developed intelligence and has a thirst for knowledge. If you accept his quest, he will ask a question for you to answer within a limited amount of time. It is said that the quests are very difficult... but worthwhile! You may complete only 1 Brain Tree Quest per day– this includes failures, too. 
     

Quest Walkthrough

When visiting the Brain Tree, you need to accept a quest. All of the Brain Tree's quests will require knowledge of dead Neopians. The only way to figure out the answers to what the Brain Tree needs to know is to complete two Esophagor Quests. When you complete two Esophagus quests, you will be given two answers that the Brain Tree needs. The first quest will share the answer of when the person died, and the second quest will share where they died. Unfortunately, there's no daily solution to this quest. The answers change for every quest accepted. For example, two people could have the same quest, but the answers will be complete different.

If you accept his quest, he will ask you a question, your quest being to find the answer in a limited amount of time. It is said that the quests are very difficult... but worthwhile! We have added a Hi-Score Table so you can see who got the biggest rewards!   The brain Tree booms 'I need my question answered...'

Once you have accepted the Brain Tree's Quest, you should open a second tab and do the Esophagor's Quest. As soon as you have completed the first quest, you should enter your answer (copy and paste works well), but do not hit submit just yet. Do the second Esophagor's Quest, then enter the answer. Once both answers are found, submit your answers. Make sure you have your answers in the exact order as the Esophagor said.

Before you begin your Brain Tree quest, you can start your first Esophagor quest. If the items he asks for are too expensive, you can wait for the quest to expire and get a new one.

Once the items are cheap enough for you, do not complete the Esophagor quest yet-- Go start your Brain Tree quest first, then do the Esophagor quest. This way you know at least 1 of the 2 quests you need to do will be cheap and you do not waste your Brain Tree quest for the day.

Brain Tree Prizes

Once you have submitted your answer, the Brain Tree will reward you with some Neopoints and an item. The amount of Neopets you receive will be a part of your score for the Hi Scores Table. The points are not cumulative– each time you complete a Brain Tree quest, the amount of Neopoints you win could land you on the Hi Score Table if it is high enough. You may also get the Brain Tree as a Battledome Challenger, though this is completely random.
