Joking aside, today is actually SunnyNeo's 19th birthday, and we've got some very exciting announcements to share! But first, we just want to thank YOU, the entire Neopian community, and of course, The Neopets Team for making this amazing journey possible.

SunnyNeo is run by a small dedicated team of volunteers who love Neopets and love helping the community enjoy Neopets even more. We don't run any advertisements. We don't ask for donations. We run SunnyNeo from our own pockets, in our spare time, because we truly care about the community.

Now, onto some EXCITING releases:

We will be spreading some love by donating millions of Neopoints and tons of rare and valuable items to the Money Tree. We will be spreading it out throughout the day to try to be fair to all players in various time zones. Our hope is to help some players achieve their own milestones and goals in our wonderful community!

Everyone remembers those special Neopian milestones: hitting your first million, your 10 million, or that sweet 100 million Neopoints in your bank account. We have now updated our Bank Interest Calculator to help you plan your goals! You are now able to calculate frequent Neopoint contributions, with a pretty and interactive chart, so you can see the number line go up... Because who doesn't like pretty charts ;)

Did you know there are more ways than one to change your pets' colour? We've updated our Colour Changing guide to reflect all ways to get that special colour you've always wanted for your pet! Let's just say it's more than just Paint Brushes and Lab Ray zapping! We hope this updated guide will help support getting your dream pet goals!

Happy Meerca Day! Meerca can now be painted Blueberry! The Blueberry Picking Meerca outfit can be found in Neopian Garden Centre. Our Rainbow Pool database has been updated! This pet colour and item to follow was inspired by 1jediboy!

Alongside the release of this colour is none other than a mysterious plushie called the Magical Blueberry Meerca Plushie. Having your pet play with this plushie can have an effect on your pet to change them into a Blueberry Meerca!

Chapter 9 of the plot has been released today! There is still a continued 3,000 point cap for the entirety of chapter 9 which will last for two weeks. Once you reach 3,000 points, you will not be able to make any more points until the next chapter is released. This includes volunteering at the NeoHospital, battling at the Reserve Barracks, reading comic pages, and finding essences around Neopia.

A reminder that the Battledome Guild Challenge is still active until the end of this month. While the deadline to sign up your guid has passed, you can still join guilds and participate in the challenge. On Friday, August 15th, a Leaderboard Update was shared with the community. A mysterious new avatar is rewarded to any individual who accumulates 2,500 points during this challenge.

Fonts will be coming soon 

A few things to note:

1. You need to remove the [ from the end of your NeoHTML line and the ] from the beginning of your NeoSignature line in order for the stickers to appear. Something is goofy with the coding. Note that this does bring back the dreaded siggy line. 

2. Stickers are not working at all in guilds.

Both of these I anticipate TNT will fix eventually which is why I have not included them in the guide. But do keep them in mind when using them for now!

As of August 11th, 2025, a new activity from The Void Within was released called Doglefetch. This game is similar to Bouncy Supreme. In it you play as Styx as he tosses his stick to try to make friends with Luperus. We will be having a more detailed guide coming shortly. There are new and old prizes as well as a trophy to be obtained. And, I must say, the best avatar TNT has ever released featuring the best petpet TNT has ever released.

UPDATE: We have updated our The Void Within coverage guide to include a brand new, in-depth Doglefetch guide!

As of August 7th, 2025, a new activity from The Void Within was released called Lost in the Dark. Help Baelia, Luxinia, and Styx, the bestest Doglefox, find a way out of the dark tunnels. The second episode of the plot, The Void Within: Lost in the Dark, returns on Monday, August 4th. Earning of plot points will resume through the usual Battledome Challenges, Volunteering at the NeoHospital, reading story chapters, and more. NC Item boosters will also be available to help with plot progression. To hit off the relaunch, Neopians can participate in an optional Battledome Guild Challenge. To participate, sign up your guild by Friday, August 8th. You can either make your own guild or join a guild that has already signed up. In this challenge, you work together with your guildmates to earn Battledome scores. This event lasts from Friday, August 8th to Sunday, August 31st. Exclusive prizes are given to the top three guilds and individuals, and scores only count within the top 50 guild members. To register your guild, fill out a form here.
