Kyriis can now be painted oil paint. Cog's Togs has a new Faun Kyrii Outfit and a series of new manes.

There is no rest for this curse! It continues to spread throughout Neopia and we still do not have any idea of why or how it is spreading! All of Kiko Lake has been affected by the curse. According to Queen Fyora, the grey curse does seem to be spreading towards Neopia Central. 

As of August 28th, Act II slowly rolled out with one slot available in the NeoHospital and one slot available in the Battle Reserve; both titled 'Clash for Kiko Lake'. Additionally, a new void creature called the Void Wyrm, highly resembling the Snowager, has also made its appearance in the new Battle Reserve slot. For those of you keeping up with the Altador Cup, a significant change has been made as of the morning of August 28th to postpone the end of the cup until August 31st! That's right! August 31st will be the last day of the tournament. It was originally ending today, but with enough of our fans hoping for more time to play, the International Altador Cup Committee has listened!

With only the fourth day of the AC, we have been noticing patterns between each team and a look-see of their strategies. Will these patterns change? Perhaps! We still have days of the tournament to go, but here's what we've noticed so far. 

Haunted Woods had a rough start, but has been holding strong with their side game, 'Make Some Noise' (MSN). We have a feeling that they will sure leave us with a surprise as the days progress. Their opponent for the day, Lost Desert, has been focusing and showing their strength in 'Yooyuball' (YYB) and 'Slushie Slinger' (SLSL). A smart strategy to rack up the higher points. Another team hitting YYB hard is Mystery Island as they grabbed a win against Terror Mountain who won the other three games. 

Roo Island slings slushies like there's no tomorrow and showed their fans a first sweep of the season against Dacardia. A shock to Dacardia fans as their team had been undefeated in MSN, their game of choice. Another undefeated of MSN is Meridell where they've scored an average of 7 or 8 so far in this season. Darigan Citadel, knowing of Meridell's strategy did not give much time to MSN, but rather upping their YYB, although getting swept in the end. As for the opposite, Kiko Lake did not give a time of day to MSN. Their focus was primarily into YYB, in which has saved them a win in the past. This time around, they were swept by Tyrannia. The prehistoric team that has been showing promise so far in this year's Altador Cup. 

Neck-to-neck are Brightvale and Kreludor who seem to be attempting extremely high scores... Somehow. Aside from the rumors, it is clear to see that they have a focus on MSN, a win in this game going to Kreludor. Other than the first day, Shenkuu has been going strong thus far with near sweeps. Virtupets upped their game and played extra 'Shootout Showdown' (SOSD) earning themselves a small victory.

The home team, Altador, has been working hard in being seen this season. Small victories goes a long way for this team. Althoguh swept by Krawk Island, who has been sweeping each day, they show promise in never giving up. Lastly, Maraqua extinguished Moltara with a sweep. Moltara has yet to see a win, but have been working hard in gaining an average. 

Faerieland, who had experienced their team bye-day, has been having decent scores keeping themselves within average. An all-team bye day occurs for Day 5 as we all rest before the week's competition! Good luck to all!

It seems like yesterday was a day for brooms as there was a total of six sweeps out of nine tournaments. While Roo Island was casually resting on their bye-day, a few other teams really took the heat from their opponent. Lost Desert seemed to have been hit with a sandstorm as they were swept away by their opponent, Tyrannia. Kreludor is showing no mercy as they sweep for a second day in the row, this time to our spooky favorite, Haunted Woods.

The rivals of Neopia, Darigan Citadel and Brightvale were head to head in showing the world who's boss. Brightvale wasn't afraid to do their research against their opponents ended the day with a sweep. After Krawk Island's bye-day yesterday, they were ready to steer themselves into victory. They played no games as they swept Moltara. This is the second day for Moltara to be swept under, but this isn't going to stop them from turning up the heat as the tournament continues. Meridell royally swept team Faerieland after having nearly been swept yesterday.

Dacardia is surely going strong and already shows promise especially during their side games like 'Make Some Noise' between yesterday and today. Going head-to-head with their island double, Mystery Island grabbed two out of the four games from Dacardia. After having been swept on day one by Brightvale, Shenkuu focused their energy and came at Terror Mountain hard, leaving Terror Mountain with only one game to win. And lastly, Altador showed their true colors in getting some wins against Kiko Lake with a focus on 'Slushie Slingers'.

The Altador Cup is off to a roaring start, and what a thrilling first day it has been! For the first time in history, 19 teams have been entered into the tournament, making by-days for one team a day. The action on the first day (July 31st) has been nothing short of spectacular, with surprises, sweeps, and some nail-biting finishes. The first team to enter into their by-day was Krawk Island, where they were able to practice their skills for an extra day. ^{(Note: during a team's by-day, players cannot rank.)}

Perhaps friendship is key as we saw an impressive performance from Mystery Island, who managed to win three games against Haunted Woods. But don't let Haunted Woods fool you. It was only the first day, and they probably have some tricks up their sleeve in the coming days. Meanwhile Tyrannia brought their raw power to the field and completely swept Terror Mountain. Terror Mountain may have been frozen on day one, but don't underestimate their chilly bite. 

All eyes have been on the new team of the year, Dacardia. Their first game in history was against Kiko Lake who nearly swept them with three games won. Despite their best efforts and undeniable teamwork, Dacardia could not overcome the disciplined focus of Kiko Lake. Perhaps there's something in their water? Brightvale came out with a bang, sweeping Shenkuu in a dominant display of tactical brilliance. Their calculated plays and strategic maneuvers left Shenkuu with little room to counter, earning Brightvale a flawless start to the tournament. 

Altador experienced a sweep against Virtupets, winner of last year's AC XVIII in 2023. It was not a surprise for Virtupets to come into the tournament this year with so much determination to win the cup again. Although a rift in the sky looms among the city of Altador, the home team has the means to show great determination and skill. Faerieland managed to secure a single win out of the four games against the fierce Darigan Citadel. Despite Darigan Citadel's relentless pressure, Faerieland's collaborative spirit has shone through in one match, giving them a glimmer of hope as the tournament progreses.

Roo Island gave it their all, but was swept by the composed Kreludor. Despite their best efforts and spirited performance, Roo island could not break through Kreludor's well-orchestrated plays. As it is only the first day, maybe the Rooligans will bounce back when against upcoming opponents. Another sweep was by Lost Desert against Moltara. Moltara's passionate play could not match the precision and skillful execution of  the Lost Desert team.

Lastly, Maraqua showed their adaptability and fluid playstyle by winning a near sweep against Meridell, leaving the team feeling grey. (Too soon?) This doesn't stop their Left Forward, Kayn Herick, from ranking in first for goals scored with a GPG of 4.58.
