General info
Whirlpool is a game where you have to control different types of whirlpools, to direct aquatic petpets back to their home. This game consists of 15 levels with a different map design on each level. The main objective of the game is to clear each level in the quickest possible time, by sending all petpets into their home. While doing so you should try not to lose any petpets on the way, as you will score less points if some of them are eaten by anemones.

Below is an overview of the game.

Petpets
There are 4 different types of petpets that will appear in the game.

Bubblebee Appears in level 1-4
Arkmites Appears in level 5-8
Nupie Appears in level 9-12
Darpinch Appears in level 13-15



whirlpools
There are 4 different types of whirlpools in the game. Each of them has a different function. Some of them can be moved using your mouse.

Clockwise blue whirlpool
Spins in a clockwise motion. You can move this whirlpool.
Fixed Clockwise blue whirlpool
Spins in clockwise motion but cannot be moved around.
Anti-clockwise green whirlpool
Spins in a anti-clockwise motion. You can move this whirlpool.
Fixed anti-clockwise green whirlpool
Spins in anti-clockwise motion but cannot be moved around.
Sea anemones
Sea anemones eat your petpet, if your petpet gets caught in it. You cannot move sea anemones. You can however block them by placing a movable whirlpool on top of them.


Levels
Each round you are given 5,000 bonus points to begin with, the quicker you direct the petpets home, the more bonus points you get. The round will end once the bonus points reach zero.

Level 1

Step 1: This is a pretty basic step. You can pull the whirlpool towards the home as soon as the game starts; that way the petpet will enter the home immediately.

Level 2

Step 1: Move the whirlpool towards the home.

Step 2: Move the top whirlpool down as shown above.

Score System
Bonus points x (number of Bubblebee(s) rescued/4) x 100 = Y
Y x 1.2 = Level 2 Score
Total score from previous levels + Level 2 Score = Score that you achieve.












Level 3

Step 1: Move the whirlpool towards the home, wait for the bottom 2 petpets to enter the home.

Step 2 and 3: Move the whirlpool up to collect the other 2 petpets. Then bring the whirlpool back to the location as shown.

Tip: During step 2 and 3 you will be moving the whirlpool around, it is not supposed to be in a fixed position.

Y x 1.3 = Level 3 Score
Total score from previous levels + Level 3 Score = Score that you achieve.

Tip 1: Try practicing more on this level, it's pretty tricky.

Tip 2: Set up the whirlpools as fast and as accurate as possible before the petpets circle to their home for maximum points.

Level 6

Tip 1: For maximum points, do this before the petpets circle towards their home.

Level 7

Tip: You can do it in any order. You don't have to do step 1 first.

Step 1 and 2: Move whirlpools 1 and 2 as shown above.

Step 3: Move whirlpool 3 as shown. You use it to move down the petpets to the whirlpools from step 1 and 2.

Step 4: Move the whirlpool 4 as shown above.

Score system

Y x 1.8 = Level 8 Score
Total score from previous levels + Level 8 Score = Score that you should achieve.












Level 9

Step 1: Use the green whirlpool to lure down the petpets into the series of whirlpools, the petpets will be directed by the whirlpools into their home

Level 10

Step 1, 2 and 3: Move the whirlpools as shown above. Note that you can do this in any order.

Level 11

Step 1: Move the green whirlpool to cover the sea anemone as soon as possible.

Step 2: Move the other green whirlpool near to the home.

Step 3: Use the third green whirlpool as indicated on the picture to direct the petpets into any of the three whirlpools stationed near the home.

Y x 2.1 = Level 11 Score
Total score from previous levels + Level 11 Score = Score that you should achieve.












Level 12

Step 1 and 2: Move the green and blue whirlpool to cover the sea anemone as soon as possible. Any order is fine because you need to be really fast.

Tip: If you have moved the first whirlpool to its location, quickly move the second one as well to avoid petpets being eaten by sea anemone.

Level 13

Step 1: Place the blue whirlpool on top of the anenome to prevent it from eating the petpets.

Step 2: Place the remaining 3 movable whirlpools to the top left corner of the map. Start with the blue one.

Level 14

Step 1 and 2: Move the whirlpool over as seen from the image. Any order is fine.

Tip 1: Do this as fast as possible to prevent petpets from wondering off to the sea anemone.

Level 15

Step 1: Move the green whirlpool over as seen from the image.

Step 2: Move the blue whirlpool over as seen from the image.


Tip 1: Do this as fast as possible to prevent petpets from wondering off to the sea anemone.

Tip 2: If the petpet is not going anywhere near the home, you could use the movable blue whirlpool to direct your petpet in the right direction, but do note that your petpet would then be vulnerable to sea anemone. You might accidentally direct it into the sea anemone.
