Illusen's Glade
What is Illusen's Glade?
Illusen's Glade is a quest-based game that became available in July 30, 2002. Illusen, the Earth Faerie, lives in the peaceful glade of Meridell where she asks Neopians to complete her timed tasks and she will give rewards in return. There are a total of 50 challenges, or levels, that can be completed in this game.
How to Play
When you visit Illusen's Glade, you are welcomed by the Earth Faerie and asked to take on a quest. There are a total of 50 levels that can be completed in this game.
All quests are timed for 16 minutes & 40 seconds and this time is doubled for Premium Subscribers. If you complete all 50 levels, you officially would have collected all item rewards, and will start back at level 1. If you fail to complete a quest at any level because time has run out and/or you could not get the item, you will be forced to start back at level 1. You can visit Illusen's Glade and complete another quest every 12 hours.
Starting a Quest
To start a quest, head on over to Illusen's Glade where she welcomes you to her home and asks if you can fetch her some items for "cool things" in return.
Illusen's Glade Illusen says 'Welcome to my home...' I've been living in Meridell for years now, it's so peaceful and serene (and I get to be as far away from those Dark Faeries as possible!) Anyway, I have a couple of jobs that you may be interested in. If you can fetch me some items from around Neopia, I can reward you with some of these cool things I have made over the years... aren't they pretty!
How about we start off with a few easy errands, and go from there. I don't want to waste TOO much of your time but I really do have to get these items you know... Unfortunately, if you don't find my item within the time limit, then I'm going to put you right back on the easy quests! Interested??

On a Quest
The difference between Illusen's quests and other faerie quests is that Illusen allows you to use the Shop Wizard, making finding items a little easier. Each level gradually becomes more challenging as you continue towards level 50. For example, by the time you've reached level 34, Illusen will start asking for items with a rarity of 98 or 99, and at level 35 all items requested will be a rarity of 99 only. These are items that would not be found in the Shop Wizard, making you depend on the trading post and auctions and still getting the item to Illusen with the given time.
When completing the beginning levels, Illusen often asks for NeoHome items (such as floor tiles, wallpapers, etc.) If you look for them with the Shop Wizard or Trading Post, you won't find them. It's because these neohome items are non-trade. However, these items can be bought. They are for sale at the Neohome Superstore. If your item is not listed, click on "more" at one of the categories, to see a wider variety of items for sale.

Completing a Quest
When you complete a quest, you will automatically be placed in the next level. Not all levels completed can earn you a prize.

Prizes
Prizes are not given out for every level. There are specific levels that give out prizes. No matter how many times you complete all 50 challenges, prizes will be the same for each level until the prize pool changes.
If the prize pool changes while you are working on quests, you only receive prizes moving forward, and will not receive any prizes from levels prior.

Fun Facts
Illusen Day is March 17th where if a quest is completed on this day, you can earn yourself an avatar.
If you go to Illusen's Glade on February 4th, Illusen will refuse to give you quests. It is Jhudora Day– Jhudora and Illusen do not get along. Therefore Illusen will not give any quests and send you to Jhudora instead with the following:
*Start Recording* Hello, my quests aren't very good. Maybe you should go to Jhudora and do a quest for her. *End Recording*
Illusen has a lot to say in this game! We've recorded all of her dialogue along with when these dialogues appear.
