Typing Terror

General Info
Clockwork Grundos are invading the Space Station, and their only weakness is a particular word which must be typed in order to short circuit them. Just type away to destroy the evil Grundos! Each Grundo has a word on itself that must be typed for it to go KA-BOOM! Destroy the necessary amount each level to advance. After level five, destroy the evil clockwork Grundo boss!

How To Play
The Clockwork Grundos come in and advance towards you. You are behind a protective glass that will not shatter unless three of them crash into it. Type the word that appears on their mid section to stop them. Stop enough to advance to the next level.

If you've already started typing a word, it will also appear on the bottom right hand side of the screen. This may be helpful to you if the upside down words catch you, the screen is cracked and hard to see, or if you accidentally mistype and catch a Clockwork Grundo that is behind the others that you cannot see the word.

If you aren't fast enough, they will crash into the glass and crack it. This will make it a little more difficult to see the letters on them.

Scoring
There are three different ways to obtain points in Typing Terror. The first most obvious way to obtain points is by destroying the Clockwork Grundos. Secondly, your accuracy plays a roll in bonus points per round. Lastly, if you manage to have lives left at the end, they boost your score.

So if you manage to keep all your lives, have 100% accuracy through the whole game, and make it through all the boss words, you have:

(200 x 5) +	300 +	300 +	500 =	2,100
100% accuracy per level +	100% accuracy for boss +	3 lives left +	25 boss words x 20 points	Total

This leaves you with 1500 points to make up for with the Clockwork Bots themselves for the avatar.

To generally see if you're on the right track towards the avatar, try to score near the following points at the end of each level.

Game Vocabulary
Naturally, the game uses some normal words like "bye" and "cuts" but there are words that are slightly different and may catch you off guard like "GYP". We have created a list of all the words as they appear on the levels. Perhaps practice typing the ones you aren't as familiar with to help increase your speed and accuracy if you are far off.

Tips
Practice Game Vocabulary
Some of the words aren't ones you type often. Practice them so that your fingers get used to the motions.

Concentrate On More Points Per Level
At the end of the level, pass up closer yellow Clockwork Grundos for more points if you can. The 5 points earned isn't much compared to 20, and even 100 on others.

Speed Does Not Add Bonus Points
Take your time to get the accuracy bonus, you don't get extra points for being faster. All you have to worry about is not going too slow that they hit the glass, or that the 60 seconds doesn't expire during the Boss round before you type enough words. It'll take some practice to get a good balance in your speed.
