Earlier on, we posted about the new Mystery Capsule event that is currently being held in the NC Mall. Now we have put together a guide about this event, The Case of the Mini Mystery Capsules which has more info about it!

The current Mystery Capsule selling in the NC Mall is the Argyle Mystery Capsule. If you open it and you're lucky, it gives out the Mini Argyle Mystery Capsule.

TNT has announced a new Dr. Sloth auction! There's another rare stamp for you to bid on to further finance his Grundo Reeducation Center - Mystery Island Grarrl Stamp.

We heard rumours that Dr. Sloth was stranded on Mystery Island once. They say he didn't realize the island was inhabited and spent many weeks talking to a Red Bouncy Ball he named Bob. The latest stamp in the Grundo Reeducation Center auction could be connected to this very rumour, or it could all just be a coincidence... In which case, the story we just told you makes no sense whatsoever and should probably be ignored. Yay Island Grarrls!

Starting today, for this weekend you can send in 5 games scores instead of three! This will also be the case for the upcoming weekends, until September 18th.

It's Scores Galore all weekend long! Now through the 18th of September, you will be able to send five scores per game every Saturday and Sunday! Today we start the festivities a little early... shhhhhh. Visit the Games Room to start playing.

Two new Maractite petpets have been found, so get those petpet PBs ready if you want a Maractite Kazeriu or Magmut.

Makes you wonder how the Kazeriu is still able to fly, being all made of stone now

Also, a Christmas Yooyu has been found. Now all Yooyus that have been released so far, have been special prizes for the Altador Cup Prize shop that could not be painted. So this Christmas Yooyu will possibly be a special prize as well. Perhaps for the Advent Calendar?

Although there is still an island left to be retrieved, it looks like the Solitary Shanty isn't working today. Most likely, this is a glitch which will be fixed later on.

Or maybe the Giant Squid is at it again....

New Site Theme!

A new site theme and other prizes have been released today for those who play Treasure Keepers on Facebook. At the moment, this feature is only open for beta-testers.

If you've been playing the game already, just open your game and you can see the codes. Click on your code and it will take you to a new Gypsy Wagon location. Some codes will pop up in your shop (for completing stories) and others can be found by visiting your achievements page.

We've updated our Site Themes page with images and previews.

Neopets Due For Maintenance + New Smiley

TNT has mentioned in the New Features today that there will be some down-time on the site:

MAINTENANCE NOTICE - We have been informed that a few rogue tentacles have made their way to our servers. Unfortunately, due to this issue, we will have to schedule some maintenance work tonight. The servers may be down anytime between 9 PM to 2 AM NST, so if this happens, just hold on and hope that we don't get carried away in pieces! (P.S. We don't know why we have servers in the ocean, either.)

So don't panic if you can't access Neopets around 9 PM to 2 AM NST :)

NC Collectible for August + Glitches

Glitch: TNT's board filters seem to be having issues processing posts where people's neo-signatures contain links. If your board posts appear as "-blocked-" this is the reason. Simply remove the link from your neo-signature to correct this issue. We will keep you updated as this progresses.

Update: It appears that the "http://" part of a url is getting blocked by filters. Removing this from a link in your neo-signature will make your posts appear again, however it will remove the linking feature and my the URL appear as plain text.

Another glitch: ~~It seems the reward for the~~ ~~Punchy's Summer Surfin' Safari Community Challenge~~ ~~(US only) is a Brightly Striped Surfboard. It's currently glitched so the item won't show in your inventory.~~

Update: Both glitches have now been fixed. Neopets related links can now be posted and your Brightly Striped Surfboard can be claimed.
