Brain Tree Quest

What is the Brain Tree?
The Brain Tree is the only tree to have developed intelligence and has a thirst for knowledge; if you accept his quest, he will ask a question for you to answer in a limited amount of time. It is said that the quests are very difficult... but worthwhile! The Brain Tree is located in the Haunted Woods-- look at the top left corner of the map!

Since this is a site feature that gives out neopoint rewards and prizes, you may not visit The Brain Tree on your side accounts. For more information look at our side accounts guide.

How to Complete a Brain Tree Quest
First, you need to accept the Brain Tree's Quest. All of the Brain Tree's quests will require knowledge of dead Neopians; the only way to discover this knowledge is to complete two Esophagor Quests. By completing two Esophagor quests, you will learn the answers The Brain Tree is looking for; the first quest from the Esophagor will give you the answer to when the person died, and the second quest will tell you where they died.

Keep in mind: the Brain Tree will not accept the answers unless you do the two Esophagor Quests first, so you can't just guess the answers.

You may only do 1 Brain Tree quest per day. Failures count for your 1 Brain Tree quest of the day, so you are not able to try another one if you fail.

There is no other way to get the correct answers to the Brain Tree's Quest. The answers change for every quest-- two people could have the same quest, but the answers will be completely different.

The BRAIN Tree

The Brain Tree sits alone in the haunted woods... he is the only tree to have developed intelligence, and he thirsts for knowledge. If you accept his quest, he will ask you a question, your quest being to find the answer in a limited amount of time. It is said that the quests are very difficult... but worthwhile!

We have added a Hi-Score Table so you can see who got the biggest rewards!

The brain Tree booms 'I need my question answered...'

You have a limited time to find the answer and give it to the Brain Tree.

Chris Skeith died a long time ago, and I need to know where, and when, for my records. You must go and find this information out. Return to me within 1 hours and 1 mins, and I shall give you a prize.

Once you have accepted the Brain Tree's Quest, you should open a second tab and do the Esophagor's Quest. As soon as you have completed the first quest, you should enter your answer (copy and paste works well), but do not hit submit just yet. Do the second Esophagor's Quest, then enter the answer. Once both answers are found, submit your answers. Make sure you have your answers in the exact order as the Esophagor said.

Before you begin your Brain Tree quest, you can start your first Esophagor quest. If the items he asks for are too expensive, you can wait for the quest to expire and get a new one.

Once the items are cheap enough for you, do not complete the Esophagor quest yet-- Go start your Brain Tree quest first, then do the Esophagor quest. This way you know at least 1 of the 2 quests you need to do will be cheap and you do not waste your Brain Tree quest for the day.

Brain Tree Rewards
Once you have submitted your answer, the Brain Tree will reward you with some Neopoints and an item reward. The amount of Neopoints you receive will be your score for the High Scores Table. This is not a cumulative score-- each time you complete a Brain Tree quest, the amount of Neopoints you win could land you on the HST if it is high enough. You may also get the Brain Tree as a Battledome challenger as a reward, though this is completely random.
