The final entry is up in the journal. This time it is entry 17. There is no sign of entry 15, 16 or any of the other missing entries.

You are able to submit your guess of WHO took the Clockwork Negg to which LAND in the Solve Puzzle tab. You are also able to change a previous guess if the new clues have changed your mind. You must submit a guess by midnight NST on 4/17 in order for it to count.

*You can change your guess anytime between now and the end of the day on 4/17 NST, but remember, the earlier you submit a guess, the better your reward! The correct answer will be revealed on 4/18.

Clues for Entry 17
  • Selvin is the wizard (from Entry 2).
  • The wizard is not going to Lost Desert (from Entry 2).
  • The wizard is also not going to Brightvale (from Entry 8).
  • Rutu went to Shenkuu (from Entry 5).
  • The knight does not have the clockwork negg (from Entry 5).
  • The one with the Glass Negg is going to Brightvale (from Entry 8).
  • Hurok does not have the clockwork negg (from Entry 9).
  • The explorer does not have the clockwork negg (from Entry 9).
  • Rutu is not the blacksmith (from Entry 12).
  • The blacksmith is taking the Sand Negg (from Entry 12).
  • The Sand Negg is not going to Altador (from Entry 12).
  • The blacksmith is not going to Altador (from Entry 12).
  • The sand negg is not carried by Selvin (wizard), Rutu (not the backsmith) or Vough (has the Cloud Negg)
  • Nor is the Glass negg is carried by Selvin (not going to Brightvale), Rutu (going to Shenkuu) or Vough (has the Cloud Negg)
  • This means the only ones left to take the glass and cloud negg are Ricky and Hurok. Which also means they cannot take the Clockwork negg, or the negg that is yet unknown
  • This would leave Ruto or Selvin as the one with the Clockwork Negg.
  • The plant negg is going to Kiko Lake (from Entry 14).
  • The botanist is not Ricky.

Possible Clues
These clues are things we think might sound right, but are not 100% sure until we debate them in great length in our guild. So they are not added to the solution table, and may just be things for us to come back and keep an eye on in the future.
  • The knight is not going to Altador???
  • Cloud Negg obsession/Stargazing in Altador connection?
  • -or- Cloud Negg is blue reminding him of water, Kiko lake connection?
  • Providing the stargazing clue is connected to Altador: Selvin is not going to the Lost Desert, nor to Brightvale or Shenkuu. He hasn't made up him mind about where he is going before entry 8, so might not be the stargazing person who would be going to Altador as well. Which means only Kiko Lake is left for him to go.
  • Rutu might not be the knight since he's mentioned in the same clue as the knight, like they are two different persons.
  • Ricky is the narrator of the clues? The narrator uses I and we in entry 9, so it would make sense he would use I referring to himself and not one of the names. Selvin, Voughn, Rutu and Hurok all have their names mentioned, so Ricky would be the one left. Going by this, it's likely the narrator is using their jobs to describe his fellow members as well, knight and explorer, so he would not be one of those as well. (Nor is he the wizard, which is Selvin)
  • Based on his not so friendly criticism about them, the narrator isn't Hurok nor the explorer for sure.
  • If Ricky is the narrator, the explorer or knight must be one of Voughn, Rutu, Hurok, since the narrator refers to them, which would mean the narrator isn't one of these jobs.
  • Hurok is not the explorer?
  • Hurok might also not be the knight? Both have their own reasons for not wanting to carry the clockwork negg. This would mean he's one of the still unknown jobs.

Solution
  • Rutu - Shenkuu

    • Reasoning:
    • There are 5 neggs (Clockwork, Cloud, Glass, Sand and Plant).
    • Rutu is going to Shenkuu (Entry 5).
    • Rutu isn't taking the cloud negg because Voughn is (Entry 2).
    • Rutu isn't taking the glass negg because the glass negg is going to Brightvale (Entry 8).
    • Rutu isn't taking the sand negg because the blacksmith is taking it and Rutu is not the blacksmith (Entry 12).
    • Rutu isn't taking the plant negg because the plant negg is going to Kiko Lake (Entry 14).
    • So the only negg left for Rutu to take is the clockwork negg.

The sooner you submit your guess, the more points you will get for it. Once you've submitted your guess, you'll be able to change it into another guess if you think your first guess will be wrong afterall.

Other solutions

These aren't needed for solving the puzzle, but people might find them fun to know
  • Hurok has either the Glass or Sand Negg. He's either going to Brightvale or the Lost Desert. He is either the knight or the blacksmith.
  • Ricky has either the Glass or Sand Negg. He's either going to Brightvale or the Lost Desert. He is either the knight, the explorer or the blacksmith.
  • Rotu is going to Shenkku with the Clockwork negg. He is the botanist.
  • Selvin is taking the Plant negg to Kiko Lake. He's the wizard.
  • Vough is taking the Cloud negg to Altador. He is either the knight or explorer.
