This is the MIA, the Missing Item Archive, a directory of all missing items and item glitches/errors currently known in Neopia. Feel free to browse around to gain some information about those weird things happening to you around the site.

Terminology
The following abbreviations, definitions and terminology will be used in this directory. These terms are commonly used in the item community on neopets.

I'm Announced, but Unobtainable!

Obtainable and Unobtainable Obtainable: The item can be found on Neopets. You can obtain it through regular means such as neopian shops, Shop Wizard or Trading Post, or in case of a non-tradable item you may be able to get it as a plot prize, for example. Unobtainable: You cannot get this item through any means. It is possible some people own this item, because they have obtained it through a glitch or error. It is not possible to get this item at the moment, even though it may have been posted on the news. Released/Announced and Unreleased/Unannounced Released/Announced: A released or announced item was announced in the Neopets news. Unreleased/Unannounced: An unreleased or unannounced item wasn't announced in the Neopets news. Searchable and Unsearchable Searchable: You are able to look this item up with the Shop Wizard, who will recognise your search query as being an actual item. Sometimes TNT forgets to activate the items, so they are not obtainable through regular means such as neopian shops or receivable from events/plots. Unsearchable: The Shop Wizard will not recognize your search query as being an actual item. This happens when the item has not been activated or when you don't know the proper name of the item.

Browsing the Missing Item Archive

How to Browse
There are various ways to browse this database, as there are a lot of different categories of glitches, errors and mistakes. Below is an overview of the different the different ways you can find what you're looking for.

Searching by Date With this selection, you can search the database by date. The items are categorised by year, unknown (when an item may/should have been in the Neopets News but we do not know the date) and unannounced (when an item was never in the Neopets News). Searching by MIA Category There are many different types of item glitches, errors and mistakes, so they have been categorised.

Active: Duplicate item: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they have a practically identical clone (either image or item name, or both) already in the game. Active: Glitched: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they are glitched in some way (e.g. do not show up in your closet/neohome, or mess up your customisation). Active: Wrong information: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but parts of the information are incorrect (usually the item name or description has a typo in it). Searchable: MIA: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game. Searchable: Unannounced: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items. Unsearchable: MIA: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game as they were announced in the news. Unsearchable: Unannounced: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were also never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items.

Searching for Fixed items This section displays all items that have been fixed since this archive was created (the archive started as a petpage long before it came on SunnyNeo). We believe some were fixed because of this archive. Displaying the Results The results can be displayed in two orders: By date, or by name. The handy buttons at the bottom of your selection can switch the listing between the two.

	Name: Cloud Shoyru Ball Date: Unknown MIA Category: Unsearchable: MIA Author Notes: This Ball was on the image for the rarity 101 rare item code items you could obtain from the Limited Cloud Shoyru Plushie redemption codes, but it was never found, nor is it searchable.
	Name: Tyrannian Rock Date: Unknown MIA Category: Searchable: MIA NT Editorial: #6178 Author Notes: This petpet wasn't activated probably because the Rock is a Tyrannian Petpet and perhaps at the time, it was assumed that "Tyrannian" would be the base colour for this petpet, so a painted version could not exist. It was mentioned in the news of May 12th, 2007, but later removed, though this is uncomfirmed. Description Read; What can we say... Its a pet rock.
	Name: Tyrannian Scorchio Wig Date: April 28th, 2007 MIA Category: Active: Glitched NT Editorial: #6563 - #8920 Author Notes: This item is supposed to be a part of the Tyrannian Scorchio Paint Brush clothing set, but even though it shows up as a paint brush item in the Closet, it does not show up in the customisation wardrobe and it's not removable.
	Name: Angry Villager Plushie Date: Unannounced Item Type: Plushies MIA Category: Searchable: Unannounced Author Notes: This item was supposed to be a Daily Dare prize for Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway, but it was never awarded.
	Name: Brunos Mysterious Potion Date: Unannounced Item Type: Magic Item MIA Category: Searchable: Unannounced Author Notes: This item was supposed to be a Daily Dare prize for Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway, but it was never awarded.
	Name: Purple Baby Space Fungus Date: February 2nd, 2007 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: As the basic colour of the Baby Space Fungus already is pink, this Pink petpet could not be added to the Petpet Puddle. When a Neopian Times Editorial question was published about fixing this matter, they suggested they would instead edit this and place this in the petpet puddle as the Purple Baby Space Fungus, but this sadly never happened.
	Name: Happiness Faerie Card Date: January 13th, 2007 MIA Category: Searchable: MIA Author Notes: This Collectable Card was released and immediately overwrote an old MIA card, Nightclaw. Instead of properly activating it this time, it again was forgotten.
