Step 1 -
Read your Plot comic if you haven't.

Step2 -
Click on the button that says "Follow the creepy path past the edge of the Gypsy Camp", and you will end up in the town of Neovia.

Step 3 -
Visit the Burnt House. Click on the area highlighted in yellow below.

Step 4 -
Search around the house. In one of the highlighted areas below, you will be able to find the Charred Locket.

Neovia

View quest items

A burned-out shell of a house. Strangely, it's the only such house in Neovia. All the others seem to be intact, if a bit decrepit.

If you didn't click on the yellow area, you will see this:

Neovia

There's nothing to search here.

If you clicked on the yellow area, but didn't find the locket, you will see something like this:

Neovia

You search, but find nothing...

Once you found the locket, you will be directed to the Quest Items Inventory showing you the locket. Click on "Take the locket" to proceed.

Neovia

You search, but find nothing...

...except a slightly charred locket. Unfortunately, the picture within has burned away.

Step 5 -
Play a game of any of Coconut Shy, Sidney's Scratch Card, Corkgun Gallery or Bagatelle. After the game, refresh the page and scroll all the way to the bottom. You should see one of the following conversations:

Gilly

Excuse me, I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this locket.

[Game host]

Why, certainly, little miss... Well, what a pretty little trinket this is. I haven't seen one like it in years.

Gilly

I realize this is unlikely, but do you perhaps know anything about its owner?

[Game host]

I couldn't say. They used to make a lot of lockets like that, but these days...

Gilly

Thank you for your time.

--------
Gilly

Pardon me, but could you tell me anything about this locket I found?

[Game host]

Amazing! I haven't seen such metalwork in, oh, must be ten years. Where did you say you found it?

Gilly

A town called Neovia.

[Game host]

...

Gilly

What?

[Game host]

Nothing, nothing. Move on, I've got a business to manage here!

--------
Gilly

I'm sorry to interrupt, but would you take a look at this locket for me?

[Game host]

That piece of junk? It looks like a hundred other lockets I've seen.

Gilly

Do you have any idea who might have owned it?

[Game host]

How would I know? Get lost.

Gilly

Uh... okay then.

--------
Gilly

Do you think you could spare a moment to examine this locket?

[Game host]

It looks familiar... where did you get it? I know someone who'd pay a thousand Neopoints for that locket, though. At least, I used to. Haven't see her in ages.

Gilly

I found it in the ruins of a town called Neovia.

[Game host]

Neovia? That place has been deserted for ages. No one from Neovia's been through here in a long time, though.
Make sure you visit them in that exact conversation order as shown above, not the game order. It doesn't matter which game you play first, but you have to visit whichever game that gives you the "Why, certainly..." speech first. If you didn't visit them in that order at first, go back and revisit them again in the correct order. If done correctly, at the end of the last conversation, you should see Gilly say this:
Gilly

Well, it's clear no one around here is going to help me. I wonder if there might be someone deeper in the woods who could identify this locket.
Note: Sometimes it doesn't work even if you have the correct order. In this case, try clearing your cookies and cache. Also make sure you don't have a Haunted Scratchcard in your inventory.

Step 6 -
Now head back to Neovia. Spooky Shack is now clickable. (See below)

Visit it and the following appears:

Sophie's Shack

View quest items

After wandering along a mysterious path out of Neovia, you eventually stumble across a spooky shack in the swampy part of the woods.

Perhaps you should wait here for a while...
