Chef Julien's Backstage Tasting Kitchen is the NC activity for Autumn 2013.

Chef Julien is cooking up food for the Spooky Food Eating Contest. By picking up Spoon Packs from the NC Mall you will be able to taste test the food he prepares before the contestants get to eat it.

How do I participate?
You can participate in Chef Julien's Backstage Tasting Kitchen by buying Spoons in the NC Mall. These Spoons will allow you to taste test different food and receive an NC prize each day. You can only apply one Spoon for each day, so it's not possible to get the prize for day 1 twice, for example. You can also participate in this event on side accounts.

How do I activate my Spoons?
After purchasing your Spoons at the NC Mall, go to your inventory to activate them.

You can now go to Chef Julien's Backstage Tasting Kitchen. Every day there will be a new food item to test. Along with getting an NC prize, your pet will also get more full, as if you fed them a regular food item.

Yes, Tasting Spoons are like any other NC item and are giftable via NC Gift Box (one item per NC Gift Box).

Can I participate in Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen on my side account(s)?
Yes, you can participate in tasting Chef Julien�s masterpieces on your side accounts.

Can I taste dishes on days that have passed?
Yes, prizes can be collected on days that have passed or on that day. Simply click on the day you would like to taste test and apply your Tasting Spoon.

Can I taste the same dish more than once?
No, you�ll only be able to taste each dish once for every account.

How do I activate my Tasting Spoons?
To activate your Tasting Spoons, visit your inventory, click on your Tasting Spoon, and select �Activate Tasting Spoons.� After you activate your Tasting Spoons, visit Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen to start tasting spooky masterpieces to uncover prizes!

How do I purchase Tasting Spoons?
Visit the NC Mall to purchase your Tasting Spoons in packs of 1 and 7. The number Tasting Spoons in the pack represents the number of times you can taste Spooky Food to receive an NC item prize. Once you have purchased your Tasting Spoons, be sure to activate them in your inventory before visiting Chef Julian�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen to claim your prize.

How long will Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen be open for?
Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen will be open from September 24 through September 30, 2013. You can participate any time within that period by purchasing Tasting Spoons in the NC Mall.

I purchased Tasting Spoons, why can�t I taste any dishes?
Did you activate your Tasting Spoons? To activate your Tasting Spoons, visit your inventory, click on your Tasting Spoon, and select �Activate Tasting Spoons.� After you activate your Tasting Spoons, visit Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen to start tasting spooky masterpieces to uncover prizes!


I�m trying to activate additional Tasting Spoons, why isn�t it working?
Please keep in mind that you will only be able to claim prizes each day once on each account. If you have already activated a Tasting Spoon 7-Pack, you will not be able to activate anymore. An exception to this is if you activate more packs in order to reach 7 Tasting Spoons activated. For example, if you activated a 1-Pack, you will be able to activate a 7-Pack in order to reach 7 Tasting Spoons activated. Unfortunately extra activations cannot be redeemed or returned as you can collect up to 7 prizes, one each day in this event.


Is there a time limit to apply Tasting Spoons and collect my daily prize?
There isn�t really a time limit for collecting your daily prizes, but the sooner the better so you can enjoy them! If you have activated and have remaining Tasting Spoons, you will be able to return to the page to claim your prizes as long as Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen is still open.

Chef Julien�s Backstage Tasting Kitchen is an NC Mall event where you can help taste exquisite Spooky Food dishes before the food eating contestants. Taste test to decrease your pet's hunger level and uncover NC item prizes! Visit the NC Mall to purchase your Tasting Spoons (sold in packs of 1 and 7). Once you activate your Tasting Spoons, visit the tasting kitchen to start tasting Chef Julien�s latest masterpieces.

When I collected my prize, the pop-up said that my pet was also fed, but he�s still hungry. What happened?
Each day when you help taste test, your pet will also be fed a small portion of the food. Depending on your pets hunger level going in, this taste test may not fill him all the way up.
