One of the nicest Neopoint wearables tnt has recently released, the Stately Tree is now selling for less than 500 NP in the General Store. The General Store is one of the few Neopian shops that's always stocked, so you can buy as many trees as you like without having to wait for a restock.

The General Store's selling more cheap wearables, so if you want to customise your Pet but don't have much neopoints to spend, you might want to take a look there.

To our great disappointment, the Six Flags sponsor area is now available only for citizins of the USA. Everyone else who has been working really hard to try and earn flags to obtain items like Inside a Toy Claw Machine Background has wasted their time. We really hope TNT will change their minds.  Check out our Six Flags Guide for more info.

TNT has realized the errors of their ways. Due to the numerous occasions of confusion, and the constant scams perpetuating Paint Brush Plushies, TNT has had them renamed. For example, the change went from Starry Plushie Paint Brush to Starry Brush Plushie.

The question that has been on the minds of a lot of people, is whether the Petpet Park Goodie bag, that comes with 150 free NC (see yesterday's news post on SunnyNeo) can be collected on side accounts. Well we've submitted a support ticket through TNT's brand new help system. Here's your answer:

Its been a while since the Wishing Well avatar has come out. Since then nobody has been able to find out how to unlock the avatar. Time to do something about that!


At SunnyNeo we've started a Wishing Well Project to try and find out how exactly you can unlock this avatar. We were inspired by Taron to create a system that keeps track of the donations that people have made to the Wishing Well. That way we can rule out more and more specific amounts of neopoints, until the right amount of neopoints is found. We could really use your help though! Please log your donations to the Wishing Well at our project page. Thank you b_b51 for your contributions to our Wishing Well Project.

As mentioned in the New Features a few weeks ago, TNT will be setting closet limits of 650 items.  Neomails were sent today with more information, sent to users with over 600 items in their closets. 

Key pieces of information in this mail:

• Closet limits will take effect on July 19.
• You will be able to turn off the limits in your preferences, but this is not yet active.
• If you're over the limit and have not changed your preference setting, you will not be able to add more items to your closet.
• TNT is working on a more permanent solution, but this should streamline the closet application while they're working on it.  Many users with very large closets have been experiencing lag and lockups while customising, this should help with those issues.

As you may have read on New Features, we'll soon be adding a limit to the number of items you can store in your Closet at once. The new limit will be 650 items, so we're Neomailing players who have over 600 items to fill them in on what's happening. That's you! We've received many reports about the Customisation application being excruciatingly slow or not loading at all for players with lots of items in the Closet. We looked into it and discovered this wouldn't be an easy fix and would take some time, but we don't want to leave the application unusable until then. So, for now, the limit will be in place to make sure the application runs smoothly for those folks with many items. You'll be able to turn the limit off manually if you wish by visiting the User Preferences page, but if you're having problems getting the Customisation app to load with so many items, we suggest you leave it on for now. Either way, this won't be a permanent solution if we can help it! The limit will be applied on Monday, July 19th. In the meantime, you might want to start choosing which items you'd like to keep in your Closet and which you'd like to move to your Safety Deposit Box (to store them when they're not in use). If you still have 650 items in your Closet by Monday, July 19th, they won't be moved automatically or anything. You just won't be able to add any new items until you move existing ones out or change your preferences to remove the limit. We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but we're hoping this makes the application usable for everyone until it can be fixed! - The Neopets Team

In other news, TNT has posted a message regarding 'syncing issuses' on The Official Neopets Team Message Board:

We're having a few issues with our dev servers that are preventing us from syncing the regular site updates today. The tech Myncis said something about CPU overload and disc space and OMG HELP US! Anyway, they're working on it now and the word is that it may take quite a while to resolve, so we just wanted to give a heads up to those waiting for it that the site sync might not happen at all today. Assuming everything is fixed by morning, we'll sync first thing and then continue with your regularly scheduled New Features later on in the day. If it's not fixed… well, we'll assume Dr. Sloth is involved and flee for our lives. Thank goodness it's almost Friday. - The Neopets Team

SAVE THE WHEELS! That is right. You may have noticed that the Wheel of Knowledge has been down for a while. This is because I... I mean my organization, Neopian Conservation Society, had enough money to save the wheel and update it. However the other wheels around Neopia are in need of help too! Could you please help by donating to the cause?

This event holds a similarity to the Wishing Well, as it acts as a large-scale Neopoint sink. TNT are not only asking us to Save the Wheels, but to save the Neopian economy in the process.

A few years ago, TNT put a birthday lock on the login system, without giving a warning on forehand. People who hadn't logged into their account in a while got locked out. Many pets were lost :(
Today, we bring you great news! You -can- login to an account without the birthdate! Thank you so much marlo_v for sharing this with us.

What you need :
To know your neopets password for that account.

1. Log out of your current account.
2. Go to https://www.neopets.com/help.phtml, and click on 'My Support'.
3. Log in with the username and password that you lost your birthday to.
4. Voila! You are now logged in.

Please keep in mind you may only have up to 5 accounts. If this gives you an extra account to your five accounts, you will need to freeze another account. This is the page at which you can self-freeze your account.

We've done the same with our TNT Staff Tournament guide, so you might want to look again at that one too.

TNT has released two free Goodie Bags in the NC Mall today. One can be collected on the main page of the NC Mall. The other bag however can only be claimed if you have access to the Elite Boutique. There is currently a glitch preventing some users from claiming the Elite Bag. We suggest switching your language settings until you find one that will allow you to claim the bag.

The prize from the Green NC Mall Third Birthday Goodie Bag is "NC Mall Third Birthday Pinata". The prize from the Elite NC Mall Third Birthday Goodie Bag is "Faellie Birthday Bag Surprise".

We at Sunnyneo advise against purchasing a Pirate Paint Brush until the current incident has been sorted out. There was a glitch earlier that was being abused, giving certain players a large sum of points. Consequentially they used them to buy up large supplies of Pirate Paint Brushes. 

Currently TNT is working their hardest to freeze accounts that abused this glitch. If you have done nothing wrong, you have no reason to fear. If you fear that you've purchased one of these Pirate Paint Brushes, we advise you to submit a Bug Report ticket with a note to TNT, explaining that you purchased a paintbrush and are unsure if it was illegitimately earned.

If you bought a Pirate Paintbrush for a price like 99999np in the shop wizard, there is a good chance that this Paintbrush was in fact one of these affected brushes.

Remember the golden rule: If it's to good to be true, it probably is. Why not take a look at some more Neopets Rules? :)

Welcome to the Altador Cup Finals that happen today. Yesterday, Day 38 (July 2nd), was the second day of Round 1 of the Semi-Finals and after a delay, we finally have results to go by for our report. Onto the report...

Championship Bracket (1st-4th Place Face-off)
Team Kreludor vs. Team Roo Island: Ooh this was a tough call. Team Kreludor managed to inch ahead of the Rooligans with a win in Make Some Noise but this was almost too close to announce. Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger ended up with a tie and Shootout Showdown went to Roo Island. So, by the skin of their teeth, Team Kreludor have progressed to battle for 1st Place!



Team Darigan Citadel vs. Team Lost Desert: This match wasn't as close as the Kreludor versus Roo Island match, as the desert squad had proven to be stronger all-around. With a Draw in Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown, Darigan Citadel were showing promise... but with the Sakhmetian stars outshining them in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise, it was the Lost Desert who advance to play for 1st Place.




Finals Bracket 2 (5th-8th Place Face-off)
Team Meridell vs. Team Maraqua: A reflection of yesterdays results, as Team Maraqua won Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Team Meridell won Shootout Showdown but have to accept that they won't be playing for 5th Place this year.



Team Virtupets vs. Team Krawk Island: Advancing to play for 5th Place, Team Virtupets stormed Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown against the pirates to claim the overall victory. With wins in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise, Krawk Island will just have to hope that their Yooyuball is also upto scratch when they face Meridell for 7th Place.




Finals Bracket 3 (9th-12th Place Face-off)
Team Haunted Woods vs. Team Terror Mountain: Nothing scares Terror Mountain it seems (aptly named considering they were facing the spookiest squad in the tournament!) as they won Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown, settling for a tie in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. The mountaineers celebrated as they advanced to play for 9th Place.



Team Shenkuu vs. Team Tyrannia: Team Tyrannia caused a second upset for Shenkuu as they repeated yesterday's results: A win in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown with the ninjas taking Make Some Noise. Tyrannia now get to face-off Terror Mountain for 9th Place whereas the once "favourites to win" fight for 11th Place against Team Haunted Woods in the Finals.




Finals Bracket 4 (13th-16th Place Face-off)
Team Brightvale vs. Team Faerieland: Poor Faerieland didn't stand a chance. The scholars were geared up and ready to go (although they did have to fight for a few goals) and managed a clean-sweep against Faerieland. Team Brightvale now advance to play for 13th Place and Faerieland will no doubt be reaching out for 15th Place!



Team Kiko Lake vs. Team Mystery Island: Once again, another repeat of yesterday's results (deja-vu) as Mystery Island won Yooyuball, Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown against Kiko Lake, and Kiko Lake gained a win in Slushie Slinger. The Islanders now get to play for 13th Place and Kiko Lake face Faerieland for 15th.




Consolation Bracket (17th-18th Place Face-off)
Team Altador vs. Team Moltara: In the Consolation Bracket, Team Altador and Team Moltara will be battling it out for 17th Place over four days (two of which have gone by).  Altador still have the upper-hand over Moltara as they won Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown, and held a Draw in Slushie Slinger. A while ago TNT posted this on their News page:

We don't know about you, but our closets are a bit over-stuffed! Because of this we are adding a new 650 item limit to closets. Anyone who has over 600 or more items in their closets will receive neomails about this change. The limit will be started sometime next week. *Goes to sort through bows*

Many people have more items than 650 and were not very amused about this new update. Today we received a message written by a TNT support staffmember from thelastspaceman, in which TNT responds to the reasons why this is done and it also shows that this may not be a permanent change.

As you may have read on New Features, we'll soon be adding a limit to the number of items you can store in your Closet at once. The new limit will be 650 items, so we're Neomailing players who have over 600 items to fill them in on what's happening. We've received many reports about the Customisation application being excruciatingly slow or not loading at all for players with lots of items in the Closet. We looked into it and discovered this wouldn't be an easy fix and would take some time, but we don't want to leave the application unusable until then. So, for now, the limit will be in place to make sure the application runs smoothly for those folks with many items. It won't be permanent if we can help it! We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but we're hoping this makes the application usable for everyone until it can be fixed!

At the moment, there is a glitch going on with the Altador Cup. The results of yesterdays matches haven't been updated and it's unknown who's playing against who in the finals right now. Also, when playing Yooyuball you are playing against the practice team.

So relax, take a deep breath, go for a walk or spend some time with friends. For sure TNT will fix this glitch as soon as they are aware of it and then you can all play again!

Welcome to the Altador Cup Semi-Finals. Yesterday, Day 37 (July 1st), was Round 1 of the Semi-Finals and wow, the tensions were so high, Dr. Sloth could see it all the way from the space station! The Finals seem to be run a little differently this year, meaning that support games do seem to count towards an overall win, as many were caught off-guard with. Here is the match report...

Championship Bracket (1st-4th Place Face-off)
Team Kreludor vs. Team Roo Island: The Kreludans can TASTE gold and really want it, but the Rooligans are dying to win this as much as they are. Yesterday present the teams with a Draw in Yooyuball, which complicated matters. So to determine a win, support games were taken into account. Team Kreludor took the overall win with Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. The Rooligans were not defeated entirely, though, as they seized Shootout Showdown.



Team Darigan Citadel vs. Team Lost Desert: It was a split match as both the Darigans and desert squad battled it out to try and get the first foot in to advance to the 1st or 2nd Place spot. Team Lost Desert were slightly stronger and won the all-important Yooyuball match with Slushie Slinger on the side. The Darigans forced a split down the middle of the results by winning Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown to retain some dominance.




Finals Bracket 2 (5th-8th Place Face-off)
Team Meridell vs. Team Maraqua: The knights nearly drowned in a very near clean-sweep from the Maraquans yesterday, as Team Maraqua won Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise mercilessly. Desperate to maintain some dignity, Team Meridell secured a win in Shootout Showdown.



Team Virtupets vs. Team Krawk Island: The priates versed the Virtupets Space Station yesterday and ended up with a Draw in Yooyuball... So once more, the support games became the decider of the match. The pirates enjoy slushies and general squabbling so they gladly took the wins in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Team Virtupets happily took the win in Shootout Showdown but it wasn't enough to secure an overall win.




Finals Bracket 3 (9th-12th Place Face-off)
Team Haunted Woods vs. Team Terror Mountain: Now this match-up held a few surprises. Terror Mountain practically let the snow crash onto the spooky squad's head as they won Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown! There was a Draw in Slushie Slinger as neither team could best themselves in that game but the Haunted Woods took Make Some Noise to compensate.



Team Shenkuu vs. Team Tyrannia: Team Tyrannia's fans were in for a treat as they got the balance right and almost swept Team Shenkuu! The prehistoric squad must have had some last minute Yooyuball skills up their sleeves (as support games are their speciality) to win Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown in one sitting. The ninjas' morale may have been stung by this result but at least the fans are still cheering them on to win Make Some Noise. Can they make the comeback they are famous for?




Finals Bracket 4 (13th-16th Place Face-off)
Team Brightvale vs. Team Faerieland: No questions about who won this match. The Brightvale scholars almost gave Team Faerieland a clean-sweep with the exception of Shootout Showdown, which ended in a Draw. Can Faerieland turn it around in the second round?



Team Kiko Lake vs. Team Mystery Island: The Islanders had a smooth game yesterday when they gained victories in Yooyuball, Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown against the Lakes. Even though this was a bad omen for Kiko Lake, at least they clawed back a win in Slushie Slinger!




Consolation Bracket (17th-18th Place Face-off)
Team Altador vs. Team Moltara: It was a Draw across the board mostly as neither of the consolation teams could best each other in Yooyuball, Make Some Noise or Shootout Showdown. The decider settled on Slushie Slinger... which Team Moltara happily took the win in!

TNT have announced in their New Features page that the Neopets FAQ system has undergone a revamp. This is what they have stated on the New Feature page...
