Wait, what's going on with SunnyNeo graphics??

Many have noticed that SunnyNeo and other fansite graphics are suddenly breaking on Userlookups and Shops.  This actually started years ago on Petpages.  Marleen was actually talking to TNT in the past on getting it fixed but unfortunately it never was.  It appears that the issue has now moved to userlookups and shops.

Why are some images working like backgrounds and others breaking?
Any image that is apart of an image code Neo's system sees the fansite URL and is adding a "redirect" measure to it which of course breaks the image.  So anything that has this kind of code breaks:

What we've done to work around this on petpages is to put all images into a style sheet or as a style on a div so like either of the following:

We are looking for your help with Dyeworks items. We hope there are some Neopians out there who are dye hard fans of dyeworks. That have these items and pets we are still in need of, who are willing to help us out.  

Please, if you have any of the pets or items consider Modeling them for us! You can have as many items as you want to model on your pet at once. You can also keep your pets regular customization on, you don't have to remove excess items. After saving your pet, go an Model them here by entering your pet's name. The page will then tell you which items you have successfully modeled. You can re-dress your pet normally again right away.

A new round of skirmish is about to start. Visit the Battleground of the Obelisk until the end of Wednesday to choose your faction. Competing in this round will be the Order of the Red Erism, The Sway and the Seekers.

We received a response from our ticket in with Neopets about the images breaking.  Although down the line things may get fixed, it is unclear as to when.  Since there are always other things to get to right now, this issue is most likely on the back burner.  So we'll continue to recode our layouts to get them to work properly with this new update.  As for our smaller graphics - we may have to get a guide up on how to get them to work on Userlookups, Shops and Petpages as our site automatically codes them and we will have to figure out how to either get it to ask us for the code or for it to automatically code it differently.

Much of the response was very generic, but here is mainly what it said:

A solution for your issue has been suggested. Thanks for writing. I am sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with part of the Neopets website. We have read your ticket and have categorized it internally based on the specific issue that you reported. This means that we can always find your ticket (or others with the same issue) if we have more information to share. You don't need to submit a new ticket for this same issue. We can even reopen tickets that have been closed if we need to get a hold of you :) Since your ticket has been all handy-dandy categorized we are able to distribute and prioritize the issue you have reported. Unfortunately we will not be able to give you an exact date of when this problem may be fixed (since any time frame is subject to change) but we are aware of it and appreciate your report! Issues that impact the whole site will be fixed for everyone at the same time so you don't need to worry about being left out :)

So we are going to continue going down the list of Userlookups and fixing them.  If there is a specific Lookup you'd like to see fixed right away so you can use it now, please Contact Me (if that mailbox fills, please try here).
