Now that's out of the way, here's some real news. Today is the last day of the Neggstravaganza, so be sure to pick your Neggs before 11.59 pm NST.

Sale at NC Mall
Unfortunately the NC Collectible isn't on sale, but a LOT of other items are, including all the Spring Items (except the Neggstravaganza tickets) which will retire at 11.59 pm NST tomorrow. So why not get your NeoCash cards ready and go on a shopping spree.

Glitch alert: Mystery Caps can't be opened or give out the same items over and over again. Hopefully TNT will fix this soon.

There are three new avatars available. You can get them from buying the new books at the Hidden Tower. Read our Hidden Tower guide for more info on the tower.

	The cheapest book at 100k, Grimoire of the First Order, gives you the 'HT - Rich' avatar when you read it to your pet.
	The book at 1 million, Grimoire of Prosperity, gives you the 'HT - Richer' avatar when you read it to your pet.
	The most expensive book at 10 million, Grimoire of Affluence, gives you the 'HT - Richest' avatar when you read it to your pet.

If you want to get these avatars, it may be wise to wait until May 18th, when its Hidden Tower discount day. Users with an account of 60 months or older will then get a 3% discount. This always happens on the third wednesday of the month.

The books are non-trade so the price will not go down in any other way, you won't be able to get a good deal by buying them from trades or auctions, since they cannot be sold there.

There are four new smilies that you can use on the neoboards. Our Smileys guide has been updated.

The Altador Cup is on a lot of Neopian's minds at the moment because we can all feel the excitement bubbling as the tournament approaches in the summer months. TNT has now issued a reminder to collect your ACV prizes if you haven't done so already!

If you still have points left to spend at the Altador Cup Prize Shop, now would be a good time to spend them! On May 25th, any remaining points in your balance will be erased, so don't forget to claim your prizes!

There is a new freebie that you can collect at the NC Mall. It is a Pink Striped Plastic Negg. This negg is an extra prize in the Neggstravaganza Surprise. If you have the plastic negg in your inventory, and you click on the negg with a question mark on it (on the ribbon of the basket), you will receive a Flower Star Wand. The negg also counts as your third collected negg on the Festival of Neggs.

Response from TNT regarding collecting the 3rd Negg on side accounts to only get the bonus Flower Star Wand:

As explained in the FAQs for this event and all Mall events -- if it's NC-only, you can collect on your sides. This answer is true for any event. If it's NC-only, it is fine for side accounts. We encourage you to read the FAQs for general questions regarding events before writing in to us, as your question is probably already answered there (as we've answered this question in the FAQs many times). Just when you thought you were finished setting up Kari's booth, it turns out she needs your help again!
Kari has been setting up a negg hunt. Throughout Neopia, all kinds of toy neggs have been hidden. If you go searching for them, you could win all kinds of prizes! We've updated our Festival of Neggs guide with info about this new event.

Today is also the last day to complete the Negg Quests. You have until 11.59 pm NST to finish them, This also goes for the NC Negg Quests, so don't forget, any NC quest items you have in your inventory after April 19th, will not be usable. But there will be a Negg Hunt starting tomorrow!

It's also possible to obtain an avatar from this event. To get this avatar, you needed to do all four quests in order and finish the quest before the next one was released.

Since Lutari Day will be tomorrow, we can reveal that one of the new colors for Lutaris might be Zombie.


And thanks to pryma9 we can inform you that 8-bit might be one of the colors for Kougra Day, which is on April 22nd.
