The NC Mall will be releasing it's latest collectible for the month of May and looks like it's going to be a hair rasier ;)

Don't forget that if you haven't purchased the latest collectible, the Goparokko Yurble Collectors Mask, you have until midnight NST tonight before it retires and slips back into the mysterious depths of the Geraptiku jungle.

According to the TNT and Petpetpark twitter feeds, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance again, from 8:45 pm NST on Sunday until 5 am NST on Monday. That also means no Tarla during that time!

Also, PetpetPark is having another 1 PP item sale today from 4 to 5pm NST.  Today's item looks like a cyodrake king paper mask.  Just what you've been waiting for!

It seems the  NC Mall is coming with a new superpack very soon. It'll be called the Building Tree House Superpack and it seems the other items listed in the NC Mall news letter will be part of it. Thanks to o_skyluna_o who made us aware of this :)

It took a while, but the New Game Challenge Ugga Drop finally went live. We will be updated our New Game Challenge Guide with tips and previews. Thank you magaxion and mskind81 for modelling!

Well you know you're in pre-season hype when the Virtupets Board is buzzing with Altador Cup activity! Yes, the electricity is already charging for this much-anticipated event.

It looks like we might be seeing the classic games returning: Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise but with some possible revamps. Will there be more teams participating this year?



As for Shootout Showdown, it may or may not be making an appearance. Admittedly that Jelly Chia gave the chills to the bravest of Yooyuball players! But who knows? It was a nice quick game that anyone could master. We might not have seen the last of it yet.

There have been a couple of potential new sponsor games spotted!

The NC Mall's new site event, the Quest of Knowledge started today. We've updated our guide and we've added a preview of the bonus item; Shenkuu Adventure Tunic.

There is a new mini game available to play in KeyQuest! It's called Orbliteration. By looking at the image from Neopets, you have to help the Cuttlebot collect orbs. 

Based on some images of paintbrush clothing we've found, it seems Zombie will be one of the colours released during Krawk day.

An unreleased Grey Fir petpet has been discovered, most likely for the upcoming 'Grey Day'.

It also appears a new game is on its way, with the finding of these Games Room images!

The final quest of Festival of Neggs, number 8, has just been launched. We are updating our guide as we obtain the information on how to solve the different parts of the quest.


Update: The guide is now complete. There is also an avatar for everyone who completed all 8 of the quests before the next quest was released.

A brand new Negg has popped up at The Neggery - Armoured Negg!

The Armoured Negg costs 16 Negg tokens and gives +1 Defence point, as well as a Shield item (Omelette Shield, Scamander Shield or Shoulder Armour).

This Negg is the new official best Defense booster, beating the Silver Knight Negg that does the same for 72 Negg tokens!

MiniMME2 has morphed into a very joyful negg creature. We've updated our MME guide with the info about it. What's even more..We've spend the last few days given our MME guide a little make-over, making it easier for you to use. And we've added a new option. With the flash preview, you'll be able to see the animated versions of the MME stages. Which are even more fun to see!

You'll receive the previous stages of your MME in your inventory. If you don't have them yet, they'll appear within the next few hours. If you're lucky, you might even get a bonus item!

We realised that our dailies page was a bit old fashioned, and that we could make the dailies page so much better! Which is exactly what we have done =) Go see our brand new Dailies page!

We've added a new page that has clickable links to all the known locations in the various lands of Neopia.  The Map Links guide can be useful for site events like the Festival of Neggs.

Anyway, as you may have noticed, the Neoboards Preferences have had an update. You will find Altador Cup references in the dropdown menu for your NeoTitle.

Now, there is a reference to Team Moltara and a mysterious one has been discovered for Team Diamonds. It looks like it could be another elderly account perk! We suspect it might only be visible for users of 5 years or older.

Update: Thanks to dadylman for providing us with this collected information: "We took a survey on the HC pertaining to teams available in NeoTitles. We have noticed Moltara is visible to everyone. Based on our data, we assume that Diamonds is available 5 years (60 months) and up. All the others (Dung, Fyora, Kass, Sloth) are avaible 7 years and up. (84 months)."

'Team Dung' 'Team Sloth' 'Team Fyora' and 'Team Kass' have been added as an option to choose for a team as well. Please check out the screenshot below for this:




Please note that we have received several Neomails asking to add 'Team Turncoat' to our screenshot... This is a common mistake. 'Team Turncoat' does not exist but 'Techo Turncoat' does. This is why we have not mentioned it. Hopefully that clears things up a bit :).

We still do not know which teams will be participating though! Even though TNT have released these NeoTitles in the run-up to the tournament anything could happen... Will Team Moltara really arrive in Altador or has Jordie been telling tall tales from Atlas of the Ancients? Are the Committee going to have to rearrange schedules again if another pre-tournament disaster strikes like when Team Kreludor sat out of ACII due to training ground sabotage? It's hard to say, but I bet the Techo Super-fan is practicing his vocal chords to the annoyance of his neighbours!

A new Negg Faerie Quest is out. Visit Kari at the Quest Booth to accept the quest. Of course we have the solution on our Festival of Neggs guide.

It looks like there's a new colour on its way to Neopia, Relic! So far the only pet discovered to possibly have this new colour is the Shoyru. You can find the Relic Paint Brush at the Rainbow Pool.


With Shoyru Day fast approaching, a Chocolate Shoyru and two new outfits for Neopia's most popular pet have also been discovered!

Sorry, but today, we're having a bad day. At the moment, we just don't feel like being all sunny and cheery, hence we decided to re-name the site StormyNeo. We've also changed a few things around with the lay-out that would suit our current mood better.


In case you didn't notice yet, today's April Fools day. And so Neopets has come a with several larger and smaller jokes. We've done our best to put them all together in our April Fools guide, but if you spot anything we've missed, please let us know!

Also, watch out! There are several pranks going on (which can all be seen in our guide) but one of them changes the look of your Pets when hit. Though this doesn't seem to be harmful for your Pet, be careful when getting Pets from the Pound. That lovely Maraquan Mynci could very well be just a Green Uni!
