After receiving many many neomails about why the Petpet Laboratory wouldn't work even though people had all the map pieces, it was time to create a guide about the Petpet Laboratory. We hope that this guide will give you all the information you've been wanting to know about the Petpet Lab.

Also, Neopets placed a message in their news about the pound opening today instead of yesterday because the site went down because of it. We've noticed that TNT has slowly been deleting all pets that were placed in the pound. We don't know if these pets are gone for good, or if they will be placed back into the pound at a later time when things are more settled.

Update! TNT changed the rules of paint brush clothing transfers. You can now ONLY transfer paint brush clothes from the colour the pet is currently painted. For example, you can only transfer island techo clothes on an island techo, if you painted your techo starry afterwards, the island clothes cannot be transferred!

The pound will be opening up on Monday April 28. Exactly one year after it was taken down. There are major improvements that will be taken place.
Neopets has a brand new game up for beta testing, it's called Petpetpet Habitats, better known as P3 Habitats. It's a downloadable game which you play offline on your desktop. You can build structures, name and take care of your Petpetpets and help them create items using the different resources provided.
We will be trying to make a guide about this new game as soon possible. However, the game is currently not downloadable for allmost all of the sunnyneo staff members due to an unknown error (yes we've tried every browser possible, it didn't help). Keep watching this space!
- You will now have the option to safely transfer a Neopet to your side account or Neofriend. However, you can only do this once a month. You can transfer one & receive another.
- Paint Brush Clothing can also transfered to other accounts, but can only be transfered with the Neopet you send to your side account/main account or Neofriend. Regular neopoint clothing can also be sent with the Neopet. The only exception is NC Mall items that wont leave the account they're on.
- When you abandon a pet, everything that pet has on (PB clothing, NP clothing, NC Mall items & Battledome Weapons) will be put back into your inventories. Petpets & Petpetpets go with the pet once they are abandoned.

As promised, the Gold and Strawberry Kougra that will be released on Kougra Day!
Did you all just see the Snowager Alert between 2 and 3pm NST notifying you that the Snowager was asleep? Well if you missed it do not worry! From now on these events will be showing all three times a day that the Snowager is asleep to be sure that you are notified. We hope that you will all enjoy our new automatic alert system. We plan to add more alerts soon. You can think of alerts notifying you that you can get the Illusen day avatar or that the caption contest avatar will be available soon and you should get ready for your witty comments.
A new Beta Test game for premium users has just come out, its called Berry Bash. This is the neopets description:
Help Rufus fulfill his duties as Grand Bogen by making sure that all the guests have a wonderful time! First, seat arriving guests by clicking on them and dragging them to a place at the table. Then serve each guest the berry that they ask for.
There are four types of guest you'll have to serve, and some of them are more demanding than others. It's Rufus's job to keep everybody happy by offering quick service and cleaning up when the guests have finished eating.
If Rufus successfully serves his patrons, while keeping them happy, he'll unlock new Gadgadsbogen berries!

Tomorrow is Lutari day and there are two new Lutari colours planned. We know which ones these are! They are pirate and rainbow. From the Premium Charter Neoboard, we have collected screenshots in which a Neopets staff member (a programmer, we'd prefer not to give his username so he doesn't get flooded with neomails, but we did verify his status as programmer on his userlookup) gives answers to questions from Neopians.
Firstly, a question and answer that indicated that the pound will be back with us, shortly!
Secondly, the staff member replied to some questions regarding the new 'Have you...?' module on the site. Here he explains that the options in the box are supposed to disappear once they're all 4 checked. But because the 4th option was to get the free NC Mall Cash, the NC Mall went down due to too many visitors. For this reason they temporarily removed this 4th option. Once it is back, the 4 options will disappear from the module if you have them all checked.
