We've been working with renewing SunnyNeo for the next year, and decided to downgrade our size to cut our cost in half.  However, since doing so our model page has stopped working (it times out before it can load).  So, we chose to upgrade back up to the level we were at.  Unfortunately, the model page is still not working.  We've tried resetting our servers and this has also not solved the issue.

We are trying to get in touch with Rob who programmed it for us to begin with to see about getting it fixed.  Not sure when he'll have time to fix it, but hopefully it won't be too long.


On that note, SunnyNeo has been renewed for yet another year!  Hurray!  If there is anything you'd like to see added in terms of graphics, guides, features, etc just let us know!  Now is the time to give us your feedback and suggestions.  Feel free to use our Graphics Request Form to request a graphic or Neomail me with your feedback or suggestions.

We appreciate all the help with the models and we hope to have your continued support in trying to get our database up to date.  As days go on and more items released, our models needed just continues to rise.  One of the largest problems we have are the Dyeworks items.  We are hoping we can bring that number down in the next few days with your help.  We do have a page created for our Public Guild listing Dyeworks Models Needed.  There are more to be added which are getting added throughout the next few days.  The ones currently on the page aren't missing any alphabetically, only items that come after the ones listed are yet to be added.  So if you have an item that is not listed but alphabetically should be, then we no longer need the models.  However, if you have an item not listed that alphabetically would come after the items already listed, feel free to just let us know what item you have and we will let you know what models are still needed.  For these flash models you can keep all other wearables on your pet.  To model your pet, just visit our Model page and enter your pets name.

Below you can see the flash previews we still need for the Bruce. Please, if you have a Bruce and any of the items listed consider Modeling them for us! You can have as many items as you want to model on your pet at once. You can also keep your pets regular customization on, you don't have to remove excess items. After saving your pet, go to the Model page and enter your pet's name. The page will then tell you which items you have successfully modeled.

Just a huge shout out to everyone who's been sending in their Trudy's Surprise information.  We appreciate all the help you've been providing so that we can keep our guide correct and filled in.  As much as we try to be a helpful fansite, sometimes we need your help.  Everyone is really doing a great job to help us.

A new round of skirmish is about to start. Visit the Battleground of the Obelisk until the end of Wednesday to choose your faction. Competing in this round will be the Order of the Red Erism, the Thieves Guild and The Sway.

There is a new daily appearing in Neopia called Trudy's Surprise.  We're working on a guide currently and have the base of it set up.  We are just looking for more results.  It is to assume since you can gain neopoints from this daily that it is only for main accounts.  However, it does appear on every page load without playing it, even if you close it out by hitting the X.  We advise not using the new daily on your sides like other dailies.  Hopefully it will be fixed to stop appearing every page load if you close it, but even then it will appear every day (less at least than every page load).

So if you spin the new daily, please let us know the following:

1. What consecutive day the spin is on?  (if you miss a day it goes back to day 1)
2. How many icons matched (0, 2, 3, 4)?
3. If 0 matched, did you activate the Terrifyingly Bad Luck bonus?
4. What was your reward?



UPDATE: Our Trudy's Surprise Guide is up!  Thank you everyone for submitting your results.  We will need these results sent in the next 24 days as well, so we hope to have your continued support.

As of late on the 15th July, a spate of unexpected icings and other account issues started. There are rumours flying but no official message from TNT. Staff are likely to be working on issues and will update us when they can.

If your account has been affected, you can report it in the Help section on Neopets, via either the Frozen Account or Birthday/Account Access Help issue subjects (depends on state of your account), using a side account. There seems to be a large number of affected accounts, so likely to be a backlog for support. Sending multiple reports will not be helpful, as you can add new details to a ticket.

As well as the listed sections to fill in, you can also upload a file. Useful if you have records of other information not listed, though combining multiple images, for example, into one file would be a good idea.

Whilst your main is frozen, you can play fully on a side (until you move back to main). This was stated in Editorials 300 and 321.

We thought we'd take this opportunity to suggest some basic account security reminders.  1. Passwords - Protect your Neopets password by making sure it is not used anywhere else! Especially fansites or mail providers that associate your username or email with your account! Do not use the same password for months on end.  2. Email - Make sure your email address on Neopets is current. This is very important! If you ever need to retrieve your password you will need access to this email address. Just go tohttp://www.neopets.com/email_change.phtml to make sure yours is current and to update it.  3. PIN - Create one "just in case" here:http://www.neopets.com/pin_prefs.phtml.  4. Cookies - Clear your cookies and cache on a regular basis. They should at least be cleaned out monthly.  5. Remember the old adage: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".  6. The buying and selling of Neopoints, Neopoint items, and Neopets is strictly against the Terms of Use. Anyone trying to sell these has stolen them and should not be encouraged.

The final results are in for the SunnyNeo Staff Tournament.  It was a long and tough battle with injuries from mad playing causing scores to weaken.  Team Super Heroes did the best in Yooyu Ball plays in one week with 322 games played and 3,871 goals made!  This is over double the standard Yooyu Ball scores for one week.  The Heroes were able to hold on to Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown.  Team Sword of Lameness took Slushie Slinger from the Heroes by about 2,000 points.  Lameness managed to grab second place in Yooyu Ball and Make Some Noise.  Team Wicked wasn't going to go out looking, and managed to place second in Shootout Showdown with around 1,500,000 points over Lameness.

Team Super Heroes manages to take their second win (then again, being the only returning team name).  Team Sword of Lameness proved being lame isn't anything to snuff at, and came in at second.  Team Wicked followed the theme of evil coming in last, and came in third.

Four of our staff participating in this years Tournament achieved All Star.  There are more trophies waiting on the SN Staff Tournament page for most plays, high scores, and most goals per game.
