It seems a new upcoming site event for the NC Mall has been discovered. It's been called Neggstravaganza Surprise and it shouldn't be hard to guess that it'll be most likely featured somewhere around Easter.


It looks like it'll be something like the christmas Stocking Stufftacular event where you can buy tickets and get a special item for each day you've hung you're stocking (or in this case, your negg-basket maybe? ) One of the items that will be giving out during the Neggstravaganza Surprise is a cute Kacheek plushie wearing a Cybunny costume.

We've never posted this before, but here are the two upcoming Caption Contest images. You can use these to start thinking up many witty captions before they are released. We hope you find some inspiration! These should go up somewhere next week, probably tuesday/wednesday and friday.


In other news, we've made some alterations to our Rarity 80+ Clothing List. We'll spare you all the technical details but you can now make choices on how many items you wish to view on one page. Good luck getting the avatar!

Last but not least, this is the upcoming NC Collectible for the month March:

It's been a really long time, but there is finally a new Beta test game for premium users, a new version of Kass Basher! Thanks a lot werft for letting us know.

The game is not much different from the old version at all. The wind changes are much slower, it's now much harder to catch the wind at a high speed. Also the Kass doll seems to be a little bit more bouncy.

There's a new MME selling in the NC Mall, named MME5-S1: Ancient Blumaroo Sentinels. This item will be sold in the NC Mall for 2 weeks, then it will retire and morphed into several new items. We've updated our MME guide, so if you want to find out more about MMEs, you should have a look at it. We'll be updating this guide as soon more is know about this new MME.

We've made a convienent little tool to quickly find all sorts of images of your (or someone else's) pet. The tool is called Pet Image Finder. It can give you all sorts of images, from small avatar like pictures to very large 300x300 images. You can display the pet in any mood drawn by TNT.



Secondly we've made a small adaption to our Neopian Times Editorial Search. You can now also search for Editorial Number or Question ID. Searching for a Question ID may be very helpful if someone tells you they saw TNT explain something in question #? and you want to find out which question they mean.

Do you know any other Faerie Xweetok older than 365 days? You can enter them in our Submit a Pet form.

If you're entering in the Daily Dare Staff Tournament, you'll be able to obtain a new avatar! It seems you have to select the staff members at the placing you think they'll end up and submit your choices to obtain this one. Our Daily Dare guide tells a little more about the Staff Tournament.

Please note: if you've made your selection of staff member earlier today, you didn't get the avatar. Hopefully this is a bug that will be fixed soon.

Update: Glitch fixed! If you made your selections earlier, simply go to the Staff Tournament page and you should get the avatar. You may not see the event, but if you check your check your preferences it should be there.

At the moment, the Daily Dare NC Challenge game tickets are glitched, which mean they can't be activated yet. Because of this, you can't play the Lulu challenge yet. Most likely, this glitch will be fixed later on today, when TNT comes to their office. At the mean time, you can just play the regular Daily Dare without any problems.

The rules for the upcoming Daily Dare event are up. This year there is a new addition that is made to the event. There will be a staff tournament. Each day you choose how well you think Neopets staffmembers will do in the challenges by ranking them. If you have your staff members in the right order, you'll win prizes at the end of Daily Dare!

TNT have announced in today's news that there will be a new Referral Program coming soon. You have roughly a week before the new process is activated so you should check the current referral system before it goes!

Update - There will soon be a new Referral Program. This will replace the current program with new levels and new prizes! If you are close to a prize level in the current program we encourage you to work diligently over the next week or so to try to earn these prizes. Once the new program launches, all accounts will start back at 0 referrals.

There's a new free item, called Golden Heart Valentine Goodie Bag in the NC Mall for you all to claim. Opening it will give you a cute wearable, called Valentine Newsboy Hat.

We've added a Kid Cuisine guide, for the new sponsor area in Neopia Central.  With the current Kid Cuisine sponsor activities, you can feed your pet, play games, and answer Daily Trivia to earn neopoints.  We are updating the trivia answers each day.  Even if you live in a country where you can't see the KC shop, you may be able to participate.

Thanks to feral_shade we were able to compile a list of special candy prizes that you can currently win at Keyquest. If you find any prizes we are missing, please contact us.

Daily Dare is returning early this year. Normally the event starts in March, but this year Neopets decided to start it February 11th!

AAA just couldn't wait until March this year, so Daily Dare will start next Thursday February 11th. You might want to start practicing now.

There are two new graphics available for the Valentines season. A new petpage and a new petlookup. As you can see these aren't so sugary sweet as the last goodies we had up, so now all of you people with allergies to pink can relax and get into the Valentines season :)

There's a lot going on in the NC Mall at the moment. First, a new series of monthly collectibles has been released, called the Games Deluxe collection. The first item in this series is the Fearie Cloud Racer Collectors Background.



Next the MME has morphed again. Visit our MME page to preview the current stage and to have a sneak peak at the upcoming one.

On top of this, a new item called Sparkling Blue Sweetheart Gram has been released. This item, which looks like a lovely scroll can be used to send some special selected Valentine themed items to a friend (or to yourself). These items can only be gotten from sending a scroll, you can't buy them at the NC Mall. To send the scroll, you don't need to use a special NC Gift box, the scroll will serve as a giftbox itself. Keep an eye out for another unreleased Gram that might be released soon.
