For some of you it may already be 2010, for others 2010 is yet to come. The SunnyNeo staff would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

The Premium Holiday Offer of $49.95 a year (rather than $69.95 per year) is available again this year. Neopets has not yet advertised this offer, we are not sure if they will advertise it.

Everyone who's premium subscription ends before January 15th, you can ask for the holiday offer through Premium Live Chat Help. When you do this, you will be billed for $69.95 and you will get a refund of $20.

You must ask for the refund in the same month that you are billed. This means if your subscription ends in December, you must ask for a refund this month. If your subscription ends between January 1st and January 15th, you must ask for a refund in January, but before January 15th. The Holiday offer ends January 15th.

If you do not yet have a subscription, unlike other years, you cannot sign up using the holiday offer. The only thing you can do is sign up for the regular offer, and then ask for a 20 dollar refund because of the holiday offer.

Today's Advent Calendar prize is currently glitched.  Everyone is having the same error message: Sorry, there was a problem awarding your prizes!  In prior years, Neopets has fixed the error later in the day or awarded the prizes on the following day.  We will update our Advent Calendar Guide when more information is available.

We've added a guide to Tangor's Workshop Petpets.  On this page you can see the items you can give to Tangor to create petpets.  Just for fun, to create one of each petpet, you would need a total of 21 Shiny Obsidian, 21 Scrap Metal and Stone, 21 Miscellaneous Gears, and 21 Red Moltite.  That's a lot of worms to collect!
Update: The guide has now been expanded with much more information on collecting worms and other objects.

After it was a bit out of date, we've now fully updated our Deluxe Customisation page again. Go check it out if you're interested in seeing what kind of wearables you can get from painting your Pets with different kind of Paint Brushes. 

A FREE Goodie Bag has been released into the NC Mall.  Just visit the Mall and click on the Claim button to get yours. 

Update: TNT has responded to neomail questioning whether it is okay to collect on side accounts.

The goodie bag containts a Neocash item.  It can be collected on side accounts.

Most people seem to find Giant Gift Boxes in their goodie bags (wearable NC item).

Interesting news in todays Neopian News e-mail. Collector's Plush are retiring, we wonder if with that TNT means that Keyquest Plushies are retiring, we hope not!

A new superpack has been found which will likely be released in the NC Mall soon. The new Sugarplum Faerie superpack will come with a beautiful dress, wig, wings, shoes, face paint and a thought bubble. A big thanks to the people on the NC boards who found these images.

Stocking Stufftacular, the NC Mall version of the Advent Calender has started and yesterday's stockings have been filled. Keep in mind there was a little glitch earlier on that caused the stocking to fill up later than expected, so if your stocking hasn't filled up yet, please be patient. We've updated our Stocking Stufftacular guide with todays item and we'll keep you updated on the newest items when they come out.

Today's Advent Calendar image had two interesting creatures.  First, nearly everyone noticed the Magma Techo decorating the tree.


The second interesting creature appears to be a petpet on the floor next to Clara.  Cute!  We're looking forward to more information!

Update:
The petpet image has changed now.  The revised image shows an Epuni, which is one of the petpets that restocks at the Petpetorium in Moltara Caves.  Maybe the earlier image was an earlier version of the art?


Also, the first stocking has begun to glow! We're all so excited!

We've added a Stocking Stufftacular Guide for the NC Mall Stocking Stufftacular.  The guide includes FAQ and will list the prizes received.  The first stocking filled must be hung before 10:00 PM NST on Monday, December 7th.  If you are hoping to buy a 25 Stocking Pack, you must purchase, activate, and hang the stockings before that deadline.  After that time, you will no longer be able to purchase all 25 Stockings.

A Magma Xweetok image has been spotted!  The colour is not yet available to the public, but here it is!  (He's wearing clothing, including the Snow Drift Hat from this year's Advent Calendar, Dueling Decks Mynci Wrist Wrap from this week's New Game Challenge, and possibly Stylish Volcano Run II Shoes.)  Thanks to vikrambal for the tip.  And applause for Adam of neocolours for detecting the colour way back in August!

We have a brand new 2009 Winter Keyquest Prizes Page. Currently the winter prizes are only being given out in Keyquest Beta. Many thanks go out to feral_shade for their input.

Apparently there was a glitch when the Atlas of the Ancients trophies and prizes where handed out. TNT is now replacing many people's gold trohies with magma ones. Apparently, you receive a magma trophy for completing all steps. Which leaves the question, when do you get a gold trophy? For more info visit our Trophies and Prizes page.

Also, we just re-opened one of the jobs on the Apply for Staff page, we realised we need another Gourmet Updater. There are also many other jobs that you can apply for.

Petpet Park is having a Beta Load test today (Friday, December 4) from 4 to 5 pm NST.  Visit the Park during that hour and you can purchase a limited edition Candy Cane Shirt from a new shop called Wintery Wonders, for the low price of just 1 PP!  Once the load test is over, the shirt will not be available for sale in the Park again.

After you’ve picked up your shirt, you can help test a new area called Blizzard Mountain.  Rumor has it that Blitz will be giving away free items daily from now until January 7.  Also be sure to visit Kora at the Petpet Park Mall for another free gift outside the Mall, plus a goodie bag in the Wintery Shoppe inside the Mall.

A new avatar has been found. Currently, this one is unreleased but it's highly likely this will be one of the prizes for the Atlas of the Ancients plot. We'll keep you updated on this avatar as soon as we know about it.

With tonight's News, a new feature called Winter Wonderfest has been released.  The Winter Wonderfest has links all the usual wintery goodness like Terror Mountain and the Advent Calendar, as well as new features such as caroling and the NC Stocking Stufftacular!  Check out our Advent Calendar Guide for the prizes so far this year.

Some mysterious new NC Mall tickets have been found. Could these new tickets possibly mean there will be an NC Advent Calendar this year as well?
