Our Perilous Catacombs guide is now finally live. We apologize for it taking some time, but we wanted to come up with a guide that would be really helpful to you all, and that required quite a bit of research and quite a bit of work. So hopefully now you'll be able to encounter less curses and more prizes.

It seems our great and powerful Meepit Overlords are set to retire from the NC Mall. If you have Future Fashions you may have noticed the new Secret Meepit Stache Retirement Bindle #1. Open this bindle and receive a random item (or more if you’re lucky) from the Secret Meepit Stache Blueprint #D7M. This bindle also has a chance of awarding one of two limited edition bonus items:Dark Faerie Magic Cloud Garland and Dark Faerie Magic Wings. Note: If you have left over meepit plans, use them by the end of the day today as the game is set to retire at midnight tonight (Oct 24th).
Since a monster ruined the Spooky Food Eating Contest, Kell & Corbin have been on the hunt.
After succesfully finding the Magic Melody to soothe the monster, they have now gone down the Perilous Catacombs to try and find the monster and they need your help once again.
The goal of this step is to find the exit for each floor. After leaving one floor you move on to the next floor. Finding your way through the different floors of the catacombs you can find treasure or be cursed. Will the monster be waiting for you on the last floor ?
We will have a guide about this step as soon as possible.
This step also has an NC component: find the Runic Door on each floor, buy a Purple Perilous Catacomb Magical Scroll in the NC Mall, read the scroll to open the door and find the treasure within.

There's a new part to the Spooky Food Eating Contest, which includes a puzzle step called The Magic Melody. Your active Neopet will vollunteer to help out with this, even though they've only come to Neopia for the free paintbrushes. O dear!

It looks like there is more going on at the Spooky Food Eating Contest. The characters we've posted about before, Kell and Corbin are working on a way to stop the monster. It looks like the contest judge will be helping them...
At the moment, this is all we know, but we'll keep you updated once more becomes known.
