As you first load your game, you will be asked to choose your gender. This will determine whether the character you play with is male or female.
After choosing a gender you will be spoken to by your friend Harry, a Gelert. He lets you know that your dad has left you this shop, and you can make a lot of money by opening the shop. He tells you that you might be able to find some things to sell in the basement. You must click on the trapdoor to go to the basement.
Your first adventure: in the basement
In the basement you will find a puzzle game that you should play to collect items. This is an adventure, there are quite a few adventures in the game. After you've completed this adventure the basement will no longer be accessible for you. The basement adventure is a tutorial adventure, which teaches you about the different tiles and how everything works.
By clicking on the dice you will be able to advance on the board game. There are different tiles you can land on. Each tile has a different result. You can read more about the tiles in the tiles section of the guide. Below is a complete map of the basement maze.
