Fruit Picker

Yum! Fruit! It's packed with fiber and it builds character! In this mini game you need to collect the most fruit to win. You will need to cut them down from the tree and put them in your basket.

Move your scissors with your mouse to a fruit. Click and hold the mouse to cut it, then drag it down to your basket. Move quickly because you only have a limited amount of time to get as much fruit as you can!

Scoring
Each fruit that lands, (and stays), in your basket nets 100 points. The type of fruit does not matter. Also, one player will receive one extra point once they put their first fruit in their basket.

Tips and Strategies
The best baskets to have are either of the two baskets in the center of the screen, (or the rightmost baskets if you're in a two or three player game), since you can simply cut fruit directly above your basket and let it drop in on its own. The baskets are determined by turn order. The first player gets the leftmost basket, and second gets the next basket to the right, and so on. Meaning that the players moving second and third have the prime spots.

When you're putting fruit into your basket, it's better to hang on to the fruit and gently set it in your basket, rather than chucking it in from a distance. Fruit only gets you points once it stops moving around in your basket.

If both you and your opponent(s) try to cut a fruit off the tree at the same time, the game will make the fruit go all wonky and jump around the screen. It's best to forget about these fruits, since it's a lot of hassle to get it into your basket when there are usually much easier fruits to gather.

If you're having serious lag issues with this mini-game, the low resolution version of Key Quest helps immensely. You can turn down the quality so your fruits are easier to move.
