Tiki Tack Tombola

What is Tiki Tack Tombola?
Tombola, located on Mystery Island, is a daily where you draw a ticket and hope to win a prize! It's run by the Tiki Tack Man, who also runs the Tiki Tack Shop. In Tombola, there are only 21 different tickets you can get. Of the 21 tickets, only 4 tickets are actual winning tickets. The winning ticket numbers are 32, 52, 100, and 325.

Please remember that since Tombola is a daily, you are not allowed to play it on Side accounts. To learn more about side accounts, and what you can and cannot do with them, please visit our Side Account Guide.

Only one play per day
Because Tombola is a Daily, you will only be allowed to play Tombola once per day. If you already played, and tried to play it a second time, you will be taken to a page saying you can only play once per day.

Oops! Sorry, you are only allowed one Tombola free spin every day

Donations
Sometimes while visiting Tombola, you will notice you can't play, but instead there's a donation box. When this happens, you must wait until enough Neopoints have been donated for the Tiki Tack Man to reopen the game. Donating Neopoints will not improve your chances of drawing a winning ticket.

Tiki Tack Tombola

Ugggh... out of cash :(

Wouldn't you know it, I just gave my last Neopoints away to somebody, so I have none left to buy prizes with :( So anyway, I'm taking donations so I can get my Tombola up and running again... if you donate you will be helping the poor and needy of Neopia, and I'm sure that kindness will come back to you one day!

I need 144,730 NP before I can re-open!

DONATE : NP

If you donate any Neopoints to Tombola, you will be brought to a new page where the Tiki Tack Man thanks you for donating the amount of Neopoints you donated.

Thanks for the donation of 1376 NP!!!

Closing Times
Since the Tiki Tack Man has such a busy schedule, he sometimes needs to close. It'll be closed between 3:00 am NST to 4:00 am NST, 1:00 pm NST to 2:00 pm NST, and 9:00 pm NST to 12:00 Midnight NST. At this time you will be unable to play Tombola.

A sign on the Tombola says 'Closed. Back in an hour or so'

Tiki Tack Man as a Battledome Challenger
Though the Tiki Tack Man is busy running Tombola and the Tiki Tack Shop, you can also challenge him to a battle in the Battledome! To obtain the Tiki Tack Man as a Battledome Challenger, visit the Tiki Tack Shop.

NEW BATTLEDOME CHALLENGER!!!

Tiki Tack Man will be waiting for you in the BATTLEDOME!!!

Tired of selling tacky merchandise on Mystery Island, this tribal shopkeeper sometimes ventures to the Battle Dome to try his luck!

History of Tombola
On June 9, 2001 Tiki Tack Tombola was released. Tombola has never changed since then, however, the Mystery Island map has changed many times. Here's what all the old maps used to look like.

Neopian Times Mentions
Tombola appeared in a few Editorials that we found relevant to the guide.

Does the Tombola still give out fading bottled faeries, or does it give out the new ones? Thanks! ~superxwee123
It still gives out the old fading faeries. Random Events and games that give out the old faeries will continue to give them out until we have time to go through and update them all. They are retired from restocking in Kauvara's shop, though, and are now replaced with the weak bottled faeries.

Does donating Neopoints to Tombola do anything other than reopen the Tombola game faster? ~viola_hero
You donate Neopoints to that worthless layabout that gives you SAND from an ISLAND?

...

I suddenly have a brilliant new idea to fund my schemes.

This is question 8012, archived from Editorial Issue 550.

I have a few Tombola Coins lying around that I realise were previously used when one was required in order to play Tombola. I was wondering if they had any use now, or if you planned to do anything with them in the future? Or are they just there to look pretty? :) ~teiiluj
They're just there to look pretty and be a collector's item. :)

This is question 5534, archived from Editorial Issue 360.

I visit the tombola, but it gives out nothing! It only gives booby prizes rarely. - Kellc94.
Yup, that is the whole point of a Tombola. I am guessing you haven't been to a village fete, but most of the time you will not get anything other than a tin of mushy peas.

This is question 1864, archived from Editorial Issue 114.

Edna fell into her cauldron and turned into a neopet, and so did the Island Mystic. Is this going to happen to the Tiki Tack Man? Please no! - Turtlekid04
No, the Tiki Man is quite safe, if he fell into the tombola he would just be covered with little pieces of paper.

This is question 1491, archived from Editorial Issue 89.

Why do you get Gross Food from the Tiki Tack Tombola?
You get a wide assortment of things from the Tombola, not just gross food, it all depends what the Tiki Tack man has bought for prizes.

This is question 844, archived from Editorial Issue 54.

What's the point of Tombola coins when you can't use them?
They are super rare collectors items from a time gone by. If you own a Tombola coin you have a little bit of Neopia's past.

This is question 797, archived from Editorial Issue 52.

Where did you get the word for Tombola from? Is it from the italian language meaning bingo?
It most probably has latin origins, but the idea and name are based on the summer fetes Adam and I were dragged to when we were little. In fact quite a few of the more silly games on Neopets are based on games they have each year at these fairs.

This is question 777, archived from Editorial Issue 51.

In the News for January 12-13, you said times were hard for the Tika Tack tombola man and he was collecting donations. I know your not really gonna ask us to donate but does that mean that you are gonna shut it down?
No, it means that the poor Tiki Tack man REALLY is a bit down on his luck. He has been funding the Tombola out of his own pocket for a very long time. You do seriously have to give donations to help the poor guy out!

All donations are very much appreciated!
