Haunted Hijinks

What is "Haunted Hijinks"?
First Launched in October, 2011, Haunted Hijinks is a NC Mall Halloween daily activity. Buy your ticket, whack a Ghost Petpet, and you'll get some fun items! It took a break for 2012 and then was back again starting in 2013.

In October 2018, Haunted Hijinks got a makeover and instead of bopping ghosts in a graveyard, we are taken to a Haunted House to explore!

How do I participate?
You can buy Creepy Crystal Balls at the NC Mall. You can buy 1, 5 or 16-packs. If you buy the larger packs, it will be cheaper than buying separate packs. There's a total of 16 rooms you can explore with the Crystal Balls. For each day, a new Room will become available to explore. If this happens, the window will get a yellow glow. You can explore the room on the day they come out, but it it also possible to explore them on later days. You'll have until the Haunted Hijinks page is available to explore the rooms and collect your goodies. You may also participate in Haunted Hijinks on side accounts.

How do I activate my Lanterns?
After purchasing your lanterns at the NC Mall, go to your inventory and activate your Lantern pack. Then visit the Haunted Mansion page to visit the rooms of the Haunted Mansion. If a room in the Haunted Mansion has a glow, this is a sign it can be explored.

What kind of prize can you find in the rooms?
That's the surprise, isn't it? The contents should be "exclusive NC item prizes", not items that are regularly available for sale in the NC Mall. The regular prizes for the Lanterns are shown below:
